Airy Kitchens

I was very impressed with Airy Kitchens. The small, nimble company offered thoughtful design solutions for a kitchen renovation in our older home. From design to implementation, the level of professionalism was apparent from our first interaction. We were assigned a project manager who was meticulous, and kept our entire kitchen renovation moving swiftly through the construction process. Communication with every team member was excellent, and our designer stayed engaged throughout the construction phase to address our concerns as they came up. Airy Kitchens is a great company with an excellent team-based approach to their work, and impeccable design sense. I'd highly recommend!

We are very pleased with our fabulous new kitchen, courtesy of Sean and the Airy Kitchens team. From design, to materials, to construction, everything went smoothly. The process was quicker than expected, and the results are stunning. We used their design conception which we had not even thought of, so they opened up all kinds of options to us. Mason's design included a high level of detail and his documents were instrumental throughout the construction process. Airy kept us in the loop via online updates and project management site. They helped us select an excellent contractor from a number of options. We used Airy Kitchens' project management team, and Kam and Nancy always listened to our concerns along the way and were great to work with. We recommend Airy Kitchens highly.

Airy Kitchens has been incredible! We live in a 100-year-old house with oddly shaped rooms and surprises behind every wall and floorboard. They have helped us redesign our kitchen and a few bathrooms, and they have been miracle workers! Their team has also been amazing at managing the construction teams, ensuring that we are thrilled with the final product. We can't recommend them enough!

Airy Kitchens was such a delight to work with. We were looking to do a complete Kitchen renovation and add a bathroom on the first floor, so we reached out to Airy Kitchens because we felt they could do it all—design, build oversight, and Project Management. Beginning from the Design portion of the process, Sean and his team were timely and communicative. They nailed exactly what we wanted for our kitchen reno (color! functionality!) with minimal revisions. They introduced us to a contractor we trusted, who ultimately did a great job. The biggest bang for our buck was the Project Management portion of the project. Kameron and Nancy took care of every detail—ordering appliances, ensuring they arrived on time, and coordinating with all of the different tradespeople. The project was completed on schedule and the kitchen is gorgeous. What's better—the renovation process was not a headache at all. I keep dreaming up more projects to do with Airy Kitchens because I so enjoyed the process of working with them. Their pricing feels fair and we got a great value for our money by working with Airy Kitchens.

We worked with Sean and his team to renovate our Delancey Place kitchen, 1/2 bathroom, and butlers pantry. Overall it was a great experience, a few frustrations along the way, but that's what comes with renovations. Sean's initial designs, after spending time with us on our wants/needs/tastes, for the renovations pretty much nailed it with only a few minors changes. Airy guided us through the entire process including selecting a contractor (Jordan and Sons - see my review). The project kicked off in mid-January 2023 and finished mid-May. Living through renovations is not fun but we survived and learned how to pretty much cook anything in a microwave. The project budget came in as expected after some initial revisions given overall price increases post-Covid and only a minor electrical box upgrade. Having to order appliances (Sub Zero/Wolf/Cove) 1 year in advance (Feb 2022) was crazy but everything finally showed up. The Airy team was there weekly and communicated fairly regularly on the overall project. The pictures below do not do justice to all the work and detail that was put into the project by the contractor and the Airy team (1/2 bath is hard to photo but the wallpaper is stunning). We are thrilled with the results.

We just finished working with Sean and the Airy Kitchens team on a complete re-model of our kitchen and the connecting powder room and laundry room, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. During the initial design phase, Sean listened to our vision, asked the right questions, and came up with design concepts that blew our minds. When we moved into ordering appliances and bidding contractors, Airy Kitchens made our lives easy by doing all the research, scheduling, communicating, and administrative work; practically all we had to do was say “yes” or “no”. Finally when it came time for the project itself to begin, I can’t overstate how helpful it was to have the Airy Kitchens dynamic duo of project managers - Kam and Nancy - to run the show. Challenges always come up with big projects, but knowing that Airy Kitchens was in our corner the whole time, solving problems on our behalf, meant we didn’t have to stress about it ourselves. They really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the finished project, down to the last detail. Thank you so much Sean, Kam, Nancy and the entire Airy Kitchens team!

Two months post-completion, I still cry happy tears every few times I step into our Airy Kitchen. We first met with owner Sean about a year ago. Never having worked with a designer before, I was nervous: “Even though we love his team’s work, what are the odds that he’ll design something we both love?” Well, he did, on the very first try. Our new kitchen is a true show-stopper, and all of our home design daydreams come true – enduring, bright, a fit for our 1890s home (all characteristics we requested), and a complement to our larger aesthetic. We are so glad we waited until we could work with Airy Kitchens instead of trying to design something on our own. We utilized Airy Kitchens’ project management in addition to their design services. Kameron, Nancy, and the rest of the team took amazing care of our space while we weren’t there and expertly handled the project overall – the most conscientiousness and talented team, bar none. When we bumped into some issues that neither Airy Kitchens nor we could have anticipated, they brought the utmost in professionalism and support. We are so grateful and enthusiastically recommend Airy Kitchens to anyone eager for a beautiful, custom kitchen or bathroom overseen by a lovely and talented group of individuals.

Working with Sean Lewis of Airy Kitchens and the rest of the Airy Kitchens team was a fantastic experience. Sean designed our kitchen fo us, which included a combined kitchen, dining room, and mudroom. The whole concept was sophisticated; he created a space that is a joy to be in. The rest of the folks involved--our contractor most especially--were really top notch. A joy.

Working with Sean and the whole team at Airy Kitchens for our kitchen remodel was an absolute pleasure! They were thorough in asking questions to make sure they understood what we wanted, and also to understand what design and functionality would make the most sense for our family. Their designs were amazing and they patiently worked with us through iterations until we had exactly what we wanted. They brought in great contractors to do the work and kept us updated on the contractors’ schedule. We had a very positive experience with Sean and the Airy Kitchens team. Great guidance on our design and the overall renovation process . The team was very good at communicating with us throughout the project. Given all the supply chain issues, we were skeptical about how long things would actually take to complete, but they kept to the timeline promised. Any issues that came up during our project were quickly remedied. We are very happy with our new kitchen!

We worked with Airy Kitchens to remodel our small galley kitchen in our Philadelphia row house. They handled everything, from initial design consultation, to final plans, to selecting & sourcing cabinetry, appliances, and building materials, and hiring and managing the contractors. From start to finish, the whole process was seamless. Starting with our first consultation, I felt like Sean really heard us and understood our needs and aesthetic. I appreciate that he is well-versed in working with old Philadelphia homes, particularly those with space constraints, with an interest in maintaining the original character of the home. He never pushed us into design decisions we weren't comfortable with or steered us toward trends that would look dated in a year or two. Rather, he took our inspiration photos and incorporated them into a design that went so far beyond our hopes or expectations -- a kitchen that makes the most of the small space it was allotted, super functional and easy to work in, beautiful, and full of light, with many thoughtful details. TJ, the project manager, was our liaison to the general contractors. He made sure that everything happened smoothly and on schedule (the contractors were also amazing, but that's another review). I especially love that they reused our home's molding to give the new cabinetry an original, built-in look that flows with the rest of the house. At the end of the day, we have a kitchen that is beautiful, functional, and exactly what we wanted. I really couldn't be happier.
