I was hired by Karl, owner of An Original Inc, to photograph their exquisite cabinetry work done at a beautiful North Scottsdale home. Karl was a perfect professional directing the type of photography he required to highlight their products. Upon the delivery of the photos Karl was very gracious at the "amazing photos" I had produced for them. I look forward to future projects with An Original Inc.

When it was time to remodel our dated kitchen we were looking to create the focal point of our home. Functionally it had to be a chef's kitchen - we needed exceptional work flow, tons of storage and pro-grade appliances. It also had to have the room to handle frequent gatherings of friends who always tend to congregate in the kitchen during food prep. Last but not least we wanted a space that didn't look like a traditional kitchen with upper and lower cabinets. We knew that we were asking a lot. After talking to a number of cabinet shops who tried to fit our square peg requirements into their round hole of standard practices we met Karl & Mark at An Original. From our first meeting it was clear that they were excited to work with us to build something different. We went through a number of design iterations refining the look and feel of our kitchen. Once we were finished we had something that was unique and it exceeded our expectations. The in-house installation crew at An Original was also outstanding. Kevin was especially helpful and detail oriented. We ran into a few snafus during the install - something to be expected in every large project. Happily Mark came out to the house, figured out a good solution and got the project back on track. It is nice to be able to work with professionals who take ownership and make things right with no drama whatsoever. A lot of contractors say that they want the customer to be happy and that the job should be done right, but they don't always follow through like An Original did for us. Highly recommended!

Superb work, *clear and effective communication*, high integrity, trust worthy, great attention to detail. Could not be happier with the experience working with them and their install team. They designed, helped us choose materials based on our needs/budget/style, and installed our kitchen cabinetry. They knew just how much guidance and free choice to give us - to avoid us becoming overwhelmed and feeling pushed into a specific product/decision. We would definitely choose them for future projects and recommend them to friends/family/whoever asked.

We used An Original for our custom home build that we moved into last year. We had met with several local cabinetry designers before we stumbled across the team at An Original. From the moment we walked in we felt a great chemistry between Mark and Karl and they both we very down to earth and listened very well to what we were hoping to see in our new modern home build. We wanted a clean look, modern but not overkill. The initial concept that Mark presented us was exactly what we wanted to see. A few productive brainstorming sessions lead to perfecting the design. What further impressed us with working with An Original was their patience and professionalism during the project when our home began to fall very far behind schedule. Our builder was very difficult to work with during this process which caused a lot of stress and frustration for all of us. Mark and Karl handled the extensive delays with the utmost professionalism. Once the installation finally began, the design was proving to be even better than we had imagined. A few of our suggested design ideas that were not panning out after the install was immediately resolved by An Original which was much appreciated as we did intend on a few ideas to need a bit of modifications. We have now been in the house for over a year and can confidently say that the materials have held up outstandingly and the functionality of the design concept continues to satisfy us. I contacted Karl to turn a closet off our garage into a drop zone with a bench and cubbies. I am so happy with how it turned out. The space looks like it was alway there. Karl helped me choose the material and it looks amazing! Easy to work with, responsive, the installers cleaned up and even cut pieces of baseboard and filled in the empty space from where the old frame of the closet was. I love that my kids can hang their pack packs and put their shoes in their bins!! It's so much more functional! Thank you An Original! Can't wait to contact you for future custom wood pieces.

An Original installed my kitchen cabinets in the fall of 2016, when I did a kitchen remodel. I couldn’t be more happy with with the end result. The Kitchen they designed is perfect. The contemporary cabinets look beautiful. For part of the kitchen cabinets, they recommended floating shelves… it was a wonderful suggestion and helped take the kitchen to the next level. These cabinets are great quality, and installation went smoothly. Mark and Karl were great to work with… after visiting a lot of scottsdale cabinet companies, I’m glad I picked An Original.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a custom cabinetry company. The price was fair and the quality of the work was excellent and the customer service was great. Having been in the business myself in Minneapolis, I conceived of the design and the owners and I tweeted it to perfection they built it and had it stained to match existing cabinetry in my house and the installation team did a masterful job and clean job. Every person in this company is friendly and customer service oriented. I am extremely pleased with my cabinetry and would use them again.
