About Us

Artisan Kitchens & Renovations Inc. was started by Lynn & Dave Boulding in 2003 in Calgary, AB. Lynn, B.I.D., Faculty of Architecture, University of Manitoba, brought her education and experience in the custom home industry with Dave, B.A., Economics, University of Regina, Carpentry & Joinery, B.C.I.T, to combine the creative, structural, mechanical and business acumen required to create a professional renovation company. Their focus was to establish a kitchen renovation company for homeowners facing the daunting challenge of not only re-designing their new kitchen but to supply all the materials and labour to complete the project. Artisan is now the "go to" one-stop shop for not only kitchen renovations but also bathroom and whole home renovations. Artisan organizes everything from any and all required municipal permits, engineering requirements, material procurement, managing the standards of workmanship, scheduling all activities and communications. Customers will find themselves in a relaxed no-pressure environment in their Calgary showroom that is full of products and images to inspire the imagination. Artisan starts the process with a fact finding discussion of overall goals for the renovation. Then it's time to work the creative juices to design a living, working and functional space that surpasses expectations while always adhering to the budget guidelines. Selecting products becomes fun and less challenging when working with Artisan's in-house interior designer, Kelsey Kindret, D.I.D., B.C.I.T. The project scope is itemized in detail with a corresponding schedule that is both realistic and attainable. Working with leading edge industry design and project management software to create computerized renderings that allow customers to not only visualize the intended results before decisions are made but to understand the intricate details of all the activities involved in a very complex process. And of course none of this is possible without the dedicated, talented and skilled work of all Artisan's tradespeople who all take immense pride in the finished results. A visit to Artisan's website reveals successful projects over the years with an emphasis on recent and current projects and what their customers have to say about them!
