Beahm & Son, Ltd.

Beahm and Son is one of the worst contractors we have ever dealt with. Although we paid to have design recommendations for the kitchen, two bathrooms, the laundry room, and linen closet, they never met a deadline, did not produce acceptable designs, and Rick Beahm did not follow through on verbal commitments. They refused to align their preliminary designs with our guidelines and requirements. Communication and project management during the initial phase of the engagement was of very low quality. Apparently design staffing is unprofessional, unqualified, and inflexible in addressing any internal operational disruptions. Moreover, it has been learned through subsequent customer evaluation that Beahm and Son likely does not have the requisite quality capabilities in design, project management, production, and execution. Before engaging with Beahm and Son, ask yourself is this the type of contractor you wish to work with? Although our initial financial commitment was worth the investment to see how poor they were, we terminated our relationship and have since engaged contractors who have accredited design talent and have demonstrated capabilities in delivering high quality, architectural remodeling services.

Having our kitchen remodeled by Beahm and Son was a very positive experience. We found them to be prompt, professional, and on point. They worked with us throughout the project keeping us updated and informed. We found the entire staff helpful, good listeners and suggestive in a positive manner. From start to finish and each step along the way, they were helpful and made sure our concerns were met. On more then one occasion the staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations. The quality of the work and appearance of the project are going to be enjoyable to us for yrs to come.

Beahm & Son recently finished a complete kitchen upgrade in our home, and we could not be happier with the outcome. From the initial visit, where Rick came into our home and brought several options to the table about what he thought would work best in our existing space, to the final touches, Rick and his employees were professional, and a delight to have working in our home. We had the best installers, along with the services of an amazing interior designer/project coordinator. The installers handled every detail as if they were working in their own home. They were able to move electrical, plumbing, and ductwork; they dropped ceilings, installed the custom cabinetry, installed hardwood flooring, installed appliances, etc. Everything went according to a detailed timeline, which they had outlined prior to the start of the renovation. They also gave us a very itemized cost sheet, which allowed us to manage our budget, and decide if certain features were worth the cost – no unwanted surprises at the end of the project! The custom cabinetry is beautiful, and the granite is perfect for our home. I cannot thank Rick and his staff enough for making this such a smooth process. A+ from start to finish!

“The kitchen is the heart of the home.” Rick Beahm certainly understands that. He and his team of professionals transformed our kitchen into a warm and inviting living space. From the first design to the last paint touch up, his crew was professional, competent and flexible. They completed the renovation well within the timeframe specified, kept the work area tidy and had the same crew returning every day, giving us comfort in who was inside our home. Totally professional job by a top notch team.

We have had 3 separate projects completed by Beahm and Sons and have been pleased with each one: Complete kitchen remodel, 2.5 bathrooms, and most recently wood work throughout several areas of the house. The installers have been terrific, prompt, helpful in many ways, as well as respectful and competent in their work. Everyone from the office to the on site workers are all very pleasant to work and communicate with. They will do what it takes to make the customer pleased with the project. As for the product....top notch custom wood work...I would not go anywhere else. Granite selection is unbelievable and beautiful. Design team is fantastic with great insight on what the customer would like. And they take ideas from the customer, but still are honest if they do not believe they would work, offering other options. Highly recommended.

January 2016: When we decided to renovate our 2 full baths - master and guest - we knew we could not really change the layout of the rooms (without significantly more renovation costs). Wanting to maximize the space available, we chose to have custom cabinetry built for each one. Having purchased custom cabinetry from Beahm & Son, Ltd. several years ago for our kitchen remodel, we knew we would want them to do this job for us as well. We had already begun working with a contractor to do the remodel, when we engaged Beahm for the cabinetry. Rick Beahm designed the vanities and the closet inserts = to look like furniture (and provided the installation of these items plus the quartz tops). In addition, Rick and his designer, Jenifer Slobogian assisted us with the selection of the wall and floor tiles, quartz vanity top, wood/stain and hardware in the master; and the quartz vanity top and wood/stain and hardware in the guest bath. We started this process 1 year ago and thankfully have worked with people - especially Beahm & Son - who are very patient with us... we take a considerable amount of time making decisions and have lots of questions. Beahm has always been willing to discuss our plans/questions whenever we wanted and has a good response time. They have great ideas and offer suggestions we would never think of. Above all, the workmanship is excellent. We still LOVE our kitchen cabinets and the custom made hutch... and the cabinetry is the showpiece of the master bath as well. The master bath was just completed and we are absolutely delighted with the results! UPDATE!! December 2016: Finally getting before and after photos of our guest bath posted. We love the end result of this bathroom as well - the workmanship of Beahm is truly incredible. Beahm & Son, designed the vanity, the tub panel ( a last minute change/add.) and reinvented the too narrow and too deep closet into an awesome built in chest of drawers! I wanted the vanity to look like furniture, which it does. And Beahm was able to recreate the drawers I saw in another vanity - that had space for the sink and pipes. Before we could barely store anything in this bath and now, we not only have all our bathroom supplies, we can access them easily and we still haven't filled all the spaces that were created. Besides the exceptional craftsmanship of Beahm; they are truly some of the nicest folks we've worked with - always friendly, helpful, patient, responsive.

Beahm & Son, Ltd. were contracted to design and install custom floor to ceiling family room wood cabinetry, which included a large, corner fireplace. Granite fireplace surround and hearth were also installed. The final product is spectacular. The planning for the implementation was so efficiently carried out that we hardly noticed the team when they were working on site. They were professional and possessed noteworthy expertise in every aspect of this project. We plan to continue to use Beahm & Son for many more projects to come. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Working with Beahm & Son has been a wonderful experience. We contracted with themon two major projects -- a kitchen redesign and custom cabinetry for the family room. Rick Beahm and his team take the time upfront to assure the design is just as you want it to be. Then the craftsmen in the shop bring it to life! They even invite you into the shop to see the progress and assure the stain and paint colors are just as you imagined them. The installation crew was efficient, clean and courteous. Couldn't ask for a better, more responsive contractor for our kitchen redesign and custom cabinetry in the family room! Highly recommend Beahm & Son!

This is the third project completed for us. Their design, materials, and workmanship are unsurpassed. Upon our recommendation friends have also hired this firm. We all are completely satisfied with their beautiful work. The people working for Beahm and Son enjoy the perfect product they produce.

We could not be more pleased with the quality of workmanship, the professionalism and expertise of the design staff, and the caliber of the work crew that completed a very large remodeling project. They all made this an enjoyable and rewarding process. Everyone worked together to help us create exactly what we were hoping for and more. I cannot say enough. We would unquestionably use them again and also recommend them to anyone who is considering a remodeling job, no matter how big or small. We had our kitchen, family room, foyer, dining room, powder room, guest bathroom, and master bath all remodeled. Several times during the remodel, we came up with new ideas from what we wanted originally, and they totally embraced any changes and made it happen. They also offered their own ideas to improve a concept. From the time I called to inquire, they were here almost immediately, to meet and discuss our ideas and needs. They were 100% responsive to all questions, concerns, etc. and were very accommodating throughout. Beahm & Son is top notch from top to bottom. The design team also made it very easy to make selections from the showroom. I always felt very comfortable with them and never felt pressured into anything. Their goal was to make sure that we were completely satisfied from start to finish. and always followed up to make sure everything was as we wanted. A++++ rating.

Beahm & Son did a beautiful job on our double bathroom project last summer. The attention to detail and quality of construction can't be beat. We were really happy with the crew who came out, and loved working with Jen to get all of the design aspects right! We are still so happy with the way the projects turned out (even with some setbacks), and love spending time in these rooms. We would not hesitate to use Beahm & Son for future remodeling projects.

Professional, creative and friendly staff. Corey was very helpful in selecting the perfect stone for our kitchen remodel. Ray handled the layout highlighting the best aspects of the stone, the install team was timely, professional, friendly and efficient. Kept our home free of dust and cleaned up after the project was completed. Could not be happier with this company.
