Working with Bentwood was a dream. I had actually started my project with another cabinet company, but their designer was not hearing my ideas and needs nor did they have colors that I liked. I met with Shawna at Bentwood and knew she was the right designer for my kitchen. She listened to me and understood my vision immediately. We made very few changes from the initial design because she just “got it”. Shawna was there for every step of design, ordering, installation, and cleanup. The kitchen turned out gorgeous, better than I even imagined.

After having used Bentwood (Shawna) of Houston in my kitchen remodel, there was no question I would use them again when my next remodeling job came up. I had two owner bathrooms, each requiring their own built-in cabinetry and vanities. I used rift cut white oak and used a design I had dreamt up. I met with Shawna whose expertise is beyond belief...she has an extremely critical eye and a headful of suggestions to make your ideas come true. Technically she is also exceptional and caught many potential mistakes before the drawings went in for production. Bentwood in NOT an ordinary company and "ok" or "good enough" is not part of their vocabulary in executing an excellent product. From matching lines, stainless steel vanity bottoms, whisper quiet drawers and doors, beautiful finishes and topping it off with courteous and competent installers and clean-up crew. Truly Bentwood is the creme de la creme. No one but no one tops them....and I've used those others before discovering Bentwood. I highly recommend them and especially Shawna as absolutely the best!

When we began to design our new home, we decided that the kitchen needed to be spectacular. Bentwood was highly recommended to us by our interior decorator and after meeting with Shawna Roorda at Bentwood, we did not hesitate to contract with them to design and build our kitchen. Everything about our relationship with Bentwood was wonderful!! Shawna listened to us as we described what we wanted in the kitchen. She understood all aspects from functionality to aesthetics and even figured out how we could build in kennels for 8 large dogs. Their showroom has enough sample pieces to aid in the decision making process and the drawings produced offer enough details to help visualize the final product. Their design team is top notch and they follow through every aspect of the installation. Their installers are polite and professional.
