Tracy was fantastic to work with. My wife and I are not usually on the same page when talking design. Tracy guided us through the purchasing and design processes and we came away with a small master bath that we were both proud to call our own. With the knowledge she gave us, we were able to redo our guest bath for an affordable price. We sold our home shortly after and got well over asking! Game Changer! Thank you Blue Lotus and Tracy!

Working with Tracy Martin from Blue Lotus was a GAME changer for our recent kitchen remodel. We needed a partner, who understood us, our budget, and ultimately our needs. When you work with Tracy, you aren't working with just a designer. You are working with someone who ultimately cares about ensuring your happiness and improving your quality of life. Tracy helped us select all our materials, referrals, and recommendations for vendors and contractors, and came on-site numerous times to check on the progress. My husband and I remodeled our small kitchen and the best first decision we made was to hire Tracy. We've redone kitchens before and remember all the detail and decision-making that goes into the project. We didn't want to do it all ourselves again! Tracy was a great partner, helping with the design, selection of materials, and selecting a contractor. She took all the stress out of the project for us and we ended up with a beautiful kitchen, completed in the time frame she gave us at the beginning, well actually even earlier. Tracy was great to work with and we're happy to recommend her to anyone remodeling.

I learned my lesson years ago, a professional designer can make an enormous difference in home improvements whether small or large. A mutual friend introduced me to Tracy. We discussed my frustration with my kitchen and Tracy offered guidance. I followed her suggestion and I couldn't be happier, in fact her suggestions actually saved money. I chose to renovate my kitchen, family room, and laundry room to keep me engaged during the pandemic, and I chose Tracy Martin at Blue Lotus as my designer to keep me sane throughout the project! Tracy walked me through all the steps in the process, helped me select a contractor, came shopping with me to select flooring, the countertop, the fabricator, backsplash tiles, the window treatments, kitchen stool coverings, and paint colors. She is well known and obviously well respected by all the kitchen vendors we met with. She designed the kitchen layout to incorporate what mattered most to me, including a fabulous island with a seating plan that supports conversation, a practical cabinet layout to meet my preferences for more "low" storage, and she recommended flooring, painting and window treatments to create a smooth transition between the kitchen, family room, laundry room and dining room. She is an excellent listener, made weekly visits throughout the construction process and worked well with the contractor to be sure the finished project met my expectations. She has great taste, is very attentive to detail and encourages lots of communication-- even late night emails asking for her reactions to rugs, lamps and other accessories after the construction was completed. She encouraged me to make low expense investments that vastly improved the finished look (like white washing the brick fireplace, moving a ceiling light fixture to focus on the fireplace and making a storage closet into a pantry). I enjoyed working with Tracy and am very happy with my redesigned spaces!

We worked with Tracy to renovate our kitchen in the Summer/Fall of 2020. She truly designed the kitchen of our dreams. Everything is just how I envisioned it, but 10x better. We originally gave her a small budget which she worked hard to meet - we appreciated she respected our requirements. In the end, we decided to go upmarket on the project. She quickly adapted and gave us a wonderful design, gorgeous cabinetry and special touches. Each detail is so well thought out, and the space is not only beautiful but also highly functional. Tracy is a perfectionist and ensured there were no compromises. She worked for hours and hours just to create a hood that worked for a budget but was also a beautiful centerpiece of the room tying everything together. Tracy ensured every door of every cabinet was as it should be and insisted the smallest imperfections were redone. There are not many projects where it ends and we say “this is exactly what we wanted” - our Blue Lotus kitchen was just that. We are so grateful for our new, beautiful space and could not be happier!

We hired Tracy to design and install cabinets and desks in exam rooms in our new medical office building. She was thorough, detailed oriented, hands-on and got the project completed before the anticipated due date. She promptly dealt with any issues we had and was quite flexible. In late 2015 I consulted Blue Lotus Designs for my home remodel. My intent to create the changes my wife and I planned before she passed that spring. Tracy was respectful of the difficult and emotional situation my four children and I faced. The kitchen, dining room, living room and three season room were made into open space. A second patio was added off the kitchen and dining room. The open space design and two skylights allow natural light to flood my home. The kitchen is wonderful to work in, the beautiful island a terrific seating and preparation area. She and her Blue Lotus team were a pleasure to work with. She smoothed every contractor issue throughout our project ensuring it was exactly as we planned and as I added more project details. Tracy’s expertise, ideas, recommendations and responsiveness all contributed to our wonderful experience. Tracy listens and cares that you will be pleased. Construction began in spring of 2016 and completed in the spring of 2017.

Project three, planned full renovation of a powder room and of a second full bath. Tracy’s become used to me changing her wonderful designs on the fly with the contractor. Tracy's color suggestions and lighting design have made the small powder room feels open and the second full bath is bright, airy and comfortable. As always, Tracy's input and follow thru was truly on target. All looks great.
