Cabinets by Design

We ordered all of our cabinetry and hardware for our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room from “Cabinets By Design” for our newly constructed home in New Orleans. Monique Bennett, the owner of “ Cabinets By Design” is truly delightful and professional with an eye for detail; her staff is equally so. Monique was available and willing to weigh in on our questions throughout the duration of the project. She worked seamlessly with our amazing architect, Brian Gille and our hero contractor, Rick Golemi. She was considerate of our needs, honest and trustworthy. We are thrilled with the results! I have used this company for 5 different projects over the last 30 years. They always do an impeccable and creative job. Monique is always professional and works very hard on all of our projects, and she always adds a creative design sense to every project. For our latest project, she helped turn a very small room into an office/photo studio. This small space is now my favorite space in my house.

It was such a pleasure to work with Monique Bennett and her entire team at Cabinets by Design. They made the process, which seemed a bit overwhelming at first, very fun! She had wonderful ideas but also really explored what I liked and what I thought I wanted. Leslie is very good understanding the construction/installation issues of all cabinet designs. We had great time collaborating on the project at Versailles. MLM INC was the GC on the project. The design was great, not a thing that needed to be done differently. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the delivery of the cabinets issue. Apparently the manufacturer went out of business in the middle of our project which caused delivery delays and ultimately construction timeline shift. I hope we can incorporate our efforts on future projects Leslie so we can get you 5 star review, you are awesome tho and we need pros like you in the industry. Good job

I enjoyed meeting at CBD to see what my options were and then meeting in my home to get their vision and the reassurance that we were making smart choices. We worked with Chrissy Sheets who helped design beautiful, functional cabinets for a wonky space in our old home. She hooked us up with an excellent contractor and recommended several great tile places. We had an issue with our range suffering a bit of damage during delivery and she worked the issue to a satisfactory conclusion with the manufacturer. She checked on the progress of the job throughout and visited with us to ensure we were pleased with the final outcome. The work was performed while we were away for the summer and everyone involved was highly conscientious and respectful. Chrissy and Tod Smith (the contractor) make a great team. I smile every time I walk into the new kitchen.
