Best of Houzz 2014: Client Satisfaction
As far as all my ideas and design being stale, I’ll let the readers of this review decide whether that is true or not. The readers can see our work here on HOUZZ or go to Pinterest, Angie’s List or to our website www.ClearChoiceInteriorDesign.com. There they can view the many kitchens and baths we’ve designed, including the projects that were awarded the coveted Summit Award from the Greater San Antonio Builder’s Association for best remodeling projects in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
In regards to charging for ‘every little thing’ not covered in the contract, yes we do. You can’t go to Macy’s and buy a coat and hope to find the store has placed a pair of gloves in the pocket. Our team of craftsmen work hard and they can’t be expected to work for free.
When the client changes the scope of the work and adds additional items the price will be higher than the original proposal that did NOT include those additions. The added work does lengthen the time it will take to complete the project and affects every project that we are working on at that time. In your case, though we tried our best to finish in 9 weeks, the changes caused the job to take longer. I’m very upfront and clear about this both in the contract and verbally. It’s simply good business practices.
Even though we have our differences of opinion, I hope that you find joy and pleasure within your newly remodeled home. It was our pleasure to serve you and we wish you and your husband nothing but happiness in the New Year.
