I am so very thankful we hired Distinctive Cabinetry to help us redo our kitchen in North Carolina, it is so beautiful and more important is that eh kitchen functions perfectly, the cabinet and storage are designed so well, it’s a joy to have this wonderful space. This family and business are the very best.

I called this business after finding it on Houzz last year, and liked them right away. The Parks were great to work with; they never pressured us, delivered on time and were very helpful with a couple of small snags we had.....they are also very nice to boot! We will definitely use them again in the future when we tackle our kitchen. One can only wish for more businesses like this one........

We offer the highest recommendation of Distinctive Cabinetry. They did a complete kitchen remodel, two bathroom remodels, and an additional cabinet in our family room over five years ago. We were incredibly happy with their service and product throughout the entire design and installation process over a half decade ago. The cabinets have held up really well, in fact they still look like new. With two small kids in the house one drawer recently began giving us problems due to the wear and tear that small kids seem to put on anything and everything! Leah and John could not have been more accommodating in setting up a time to come out and look at it. John quickly fixed the problem and then proceeded to check the other drawers to make sure they were still aligned and closing effectively. Given that it had been over five years since they installed everything, I certainly expected to pay a service fee for John's time, but was quite surprised when John would not accept any payment. I write this review because it speaks to how Distinctive Cabinetry runs their business. It is pretty easy to assess the tangible aspects of what they sell because you can see their previous work in pictures and check out their offerings in the showroom. They clearly do great work. Yet, what you can't see when you are looking for such a product/service are the intangibles that are way more important: integrity, trust, standing by your product, putting customer satisfaction ahead of profitability, etc. These are the attributes that Distinctive Cabinetry possess and they are the ones that will make sure you will have a great experience through all phases of the design and installation process. Again, their product and service is great, but their values are what makes them truly distinctive. Highly recommended.

We have worked with Dave and Pat Parks of Distinctive Cabinetry of the High Company not once but twice! They designed and installed our entire kitchen which we remodeled from the ground up. Their work was spectacular, they are delightful to work with, and we have received literally dozens of compliments. Two years later, we remodeled our downstairs family room, and there was no doubt about who to call - you guessed it, Dave and Pat. Once again, the results were outstanding. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive designer than Leah of Distinctive Cabinetry of the High Country. She was great, from the initial brainstorming, through cabinet selection, layout design, hardware selection, through installation. I had specific ideas of what I wanted from the beginning, and had a good idea of the layout I wanted for my 1930's bungalow remodel. But Leah helped me follow through, finishing with even more original-era details than I expected, but with 2014 convenience and flow. I know they do much larger kitchens than mine, but I can't imagine a more functional kitchen. It's just what I wanted, in keeping with the bungalow period of our home.

We worked with Leigh Parks of Distinctive Cabinetry of the High Country for the design and remodel of our Condo at Grandfather Golf and Country Club. Leigh was wonderful to work with, and did a beautiful job on our kitchen and bathrooms. Our condo was very dated, and now we just love how beautiful our home is. Distinctive Cabinetry did a remarkable job on my various cabinetry projects over the past few years. Leah, John and the rest of the staff were very enjoyable to work with, and they went above and beyond what I expected during both the planning and installation phases of my renovation. Working with Distinctive Cabinetry has been one of the bright spots of a very long and difficult renovation process. Leah listened very well to all of my ideas during the initial planning phases, and she made many excellent suggestions regarding the cabinetry layouts, storage options, location of appliances, hardware selection and paint finishes, etc. She was able to create some beautifully detailed computer-rendered perspective designs that exceeded all of my expectations. The cabinetry they created for me is both beautiful and functional. -- Leah also provided me with very helpful suggestions regarding area contractors that could help with other phases of my construction. These folks helped me remodel my kitchen last Spring, and I was extremely pleased with the result. They came out to measure the area, and listened to my requests. When I asked them to think of other ways of arranging the kitchen, they came up with very creative and beautiful ideas. We tweeked it a bit, then went ahead and did the project. They had wonderful contacts with granite folks, and worked with my contractor very well. It took about 6 weeks, which was fine with me. I've lived with the kitchen now for a year, and never regretted either the remodel or working with them. I highly recommend them to anyone else wanting to re-do their kitchen.
