Ten years after they completed my ktichen-bath remodel, the Drury team helped me resolve some minor maintenance issues promptly and courteously! Within a week, their finishing specialist, Dave Honquest ,was repairing the finish on a kitchen cabinet. Rick stopped by the house to pull out a referigerator that over time travelled too far back in its cabinet. None of the local appliance dealers would help with a task so small. Basia Kozub, designer, kept the communication flowing. It's timely communication, attention to detail, and quick action that make Drury Design the best firm to use for your design/installation project!

The Drury Team led by Janice Teague produced a beautiful and functional design and then executed on it to make it a reality for us. We love it! The design process sought to combined our kitchen and dinette into one truly exceptional space. Janice listened to our goals for the project and helped us convert our space into a beautiful kitchen. Filling it with our wish list of appliances, finding beautiful lighting, and developing a color scheme that blended the cabinets, tile and stone counters into a pleasure to sit and work in. Drury brought to us first class craftsman to complete the kitchen remodel and who did an excellent job of working through supply chain and pandemic issues. Not easy times. The whole team was so professional and detailed - thank you Janice, Jeff, Sonny, Tony and the whole Drury team.

Drury Design was invaluable to us for our kitchen and bath renovation in Southwest Michigan. They were the constant in the process that provided us with a high quality product in cabinets and countertops, measurements and oversight. We worked with Diana Burton from Drury Design on a master bedroom/bathroom renovation. Diana's vision for design transformed our space we enjoy every day. My wife and I often remark that we feel like our bed/bath is a five-star hotel suite. In addition to exceptional design services, Drury was very efficient in managing the project and employing high quality contractors to complete the project. We are likely to work with Drury on future projects and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had such an excellent experience during our kitchen remodel. We met with multiple companies and Alicia was the only person to truly listen to our wants and needs. She came up with ideas I never would have thought of and we absolutely LOVE the end result! Slawek and team made the demo and remodel process bearable and their work is well done. Finally decided to remodel a 65+ year old kitchen. Of course there were surprises as demolition occurred, but Drury Design made the whole process as painless as possible. The pandemic added some twists & turns, but the crew did its best to minimize delays. Each of the specialists brought in for various parts of the construction was top notch. I have full confidence in their work and their products. The guys who oversaw the entire process took great care with my house, going over and above to meet my needs. And I could always count on them to answer all my questions. I love the design that Drury came up with and I love my new kitchen!

Drury did a fantastic job on our kitchen and dining room remodel! Our designer Janice and her design assistant were so very talented, and also very patient with us and the many changes we made during the planning process! She did a wonderful job of trying to keep us to our allotted budget by only recommending items/finishes that would fit the budget (WE were the ones that ended up pushing the project further on budget, in fact). She really honed in on our taste and recommended design elements that fit that style perfectly. They were very detailed in getting the measurements exactly correct as we made the floorplan and electrical plan for the cabinets. Their showroom is great because they have samples of all the tiles, granites, and cabinetry from their suppliers so you can pick out a lot of things in a single visit. Their contractors were the best contractors I have ever worked with (shout out to Tom and Tom!). Meticulous, attention to detail, great communicators. I say the true value of a professional depends on how they respond to problems. There's NEVER not a problem during a remodel, but the few that did come up were addressed immediately by Drury in the most professional manner. For example, one of our trim pieces was cut slightly incorrectly and while most contractors might install it and hope we didn't notice, he refused to do so because it wouldn't be perfect, and had that piece re-cut before installing. They came back numerous times after the majority of the project was done for small touch up items and misc. remaining fixes to make sure everything was 100% to our satisfaction by the end of the project. 10/10 would use Drury Designs and Janice again!!

Where to start.......Like many others our family decided to leave the city and move to the burbs in search of more space for our family mid way through the pandemic. We purchased a 92 year old house in River Forest (as is) in Jan 2021 with big plans to renovate and make it our own. We watch HGTV occasionally so felt up to the challenge. Our first project was the kitchen. We had a healthy 6 figure + budget and goals of knocking this out in 3 months prior to moving it but quickly realized we embarked on this at possibly the worst possible time in human history as the companies we engaged with were slammed, facing us with either insane lead times (9+ months) or a massive price tag (like maybe it would be better to tear the house down and start over high). Gail @ Drury was one of the last we met with and we liked her from the start. She has a ton of experience in the business and is really an honest & authentic person with impeccable follow up and professionalism. Very easy to work with. She really listened to our feedback in the design process on what we wanted while considering our budget throughout and delivered a design of a modern kitchen with everything we were looking for in a very challenging lay-out (92 year old house). The contract process was straight forward, a timeline was built and we were introduced to Israel and his team from their in house crew to start construction. They assured me on their ability to deliver on time and on budget, but I'd seen those HGTV shows/heard stories and know there is always a gotcha so I had my guard up. Turns out I was wrong again as that gotcha never came. The one hiccup we had was a delay on the range, which wasn't even an issue because they snagged us another one to use while we were waiting. Israel is a modern day MacGyver and not only did him and his crew impeccably knock out this job on time and on budget, but he fixed or pointed out like 17 other old house things which he helped me take care of along the way. It was easy. Everyone at the org is good at their role and they delivered us a stunner kitchen, on time, and on budget in a super challenging environment. 10/10 from the Schafers. Can't wait until we save enough to work with them on phase 2!

Overall, I am very pleased with the job that Drury Design did in remodeling my kitchen. Once the project was underway, the crew did a great job. Drury Design remodeled our mudroom. The designer was very easy to work with, she really listen what we wanted and did an awesome job turning our ideas in reality, her suggestions were very insightful. Workers that installed the cabinets and sink were very professional and polite, they deftly knew what they were doing. They did an excellent job and we could not be happier!

Drury Design is an amazing highly organized, creative firm who delivers on their promise for a beautiful kitchen! I had the opportunity to work with Gail and she's a top notch designer! I felt so comfortable with her, She always provided several different options for every selection - so I truly felt my kitchen would reflect my style. Gail put a plan together and said my kitchen would be done in 8 weeks. My kitchen was done in exactly 8 weeks, despite some issues with our plumbing. It was seamless and so easy!! After five years of being in what still feels like a "new" kitchen, the support and customer service Drury provides is outstanding. Minor glitches with our kitchen garbage cabinet are easily and quickly resolved. Drury truly stands behind their quality product. To top it off - they're just great and fun people to work with! Working with Drury Design was a fantastic experience, one that exceeded our expectations! Our home is very old (100+ years) and the layout was not optimized for family living. Drury Design hit a home run! The most important thing that they did was listen to what our wants and needs were and from there designed exactly what we were looking for. Diana Burton and her team worked with us over a period of time to take our house that was built in the early 80's and transform to what looks like a brand new house. The construction team headed up by Tom Habowski was patient enough to answer questions during the construction and delivered. At the end of everyday, Tom and his team made sure that the house was picked up and cleaner than when they started. Great Job by everyone.

We worked with Gail on the design of our Master Bath remodeling project. She offer several options for us to consider and was able to provide computerized 3D renderings of the options which were very valuable in helping us chose the perfect solution and details. Once construction started the contracting team was very deliberate in maintaining the schedule and delivering the completion on the agreed date. Their quality was excellent.

We used Drury Design for a kitchen & powder room remodel with 5 star results. We used Drury design in the city to remodel three full baths,one half bath and a kitchen. We have been living with the aftermath for three years. It cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars and the after math has not been good. 1. Master bath shower: the glass between the shower and outside wall was not installed properly and we have water damage on the dry wall that has to be continually repaired. 2. The third floor shower was not installed properly and has called toxic mold and ceiling repair work to our second floor insulation and ceiling 3. The electrical in the kitchen was not installed properly and continues to trip where the dishwasher is 4. The tile in the master bath was installed improperly and cracked. Drury did replace this but said it was our fault because we live in an old house. However, once it was replaced we no longer has issues on that front hmm. 5. Dishwasher was installed not level which caused the mechanism to not drain properly and burn out. I had to buy another 1500 dishwasher after a year. Overall, the owner and head contractor are impolite and unprofessional. They don’t stand behind their work once they get payment. Good luck if you use them.

Gail has completed our entire house. She overflows with professionalism and amazing design ability. We are thrilled with the final product. Her attention to detail is flawless. Trust me we are as OCD as they come.

Diana did an amazing job working with us to plan our dream kitchen. She listened carefully to our preferences and incorporated those into several options at different price tiers since we weren’t decided on how major a project we wanted to take on. There was zero pressure to “go big” and she let us lead without letting her own astheitic dominate too much. We couldn’t have been happier with how the project ended up. And the Drury crew couldn’t have been more professional on skilled at their installations craft. They finished the day they said they would at the start, and there was no period of zero happening that we hear about from so many of our friends on various projects. I stopped in Drury Kitchen because I had heard good reviews and I had seen their work on several home tours. I thought my job may be too small for them to consider and was concerned because my style is not very traditional. I am happy to say I was wrong on both accounts. Alicia met me in the showroom, listened to my needs and looked at the pictures I had of my kitchen on my phone. She showed me some countertop samples and we were on our way. She was very conscientious of my style and budget and spent a great amount of time hunting down samples for me and focusing on the details. The countertop fabricators were true artists. The crew that replaced some appliances went above and beyond and the tiled backsplash is beautiful. Everyone was polite and conscientious. Less then two months later the work was done!

Drury Design is a very professional and creative company. A few years ago they remodeled my master bathroom and not long ago Drury designed my "Dream Kitchen" I absolutely love both rooms . They are not only functional but also beautiful . Drury Design is currently designing a mantel and surround for a fireplace. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. All of the designers are amazing! The owners are wonderful too.

We had a great experience with Drury Design, as we did a gut remodel of our kitchen, powder room, dining room, hall bathroom and front entry of our 100 year old home. Diana worked diligently with us and we emerged with a very creative re-use of our spaces. She guided us in our material selection, alway offering choices at different price levels, so we were able to splurge where it was important to us, but save a little where it wasn't. All of the contractors involved were extremely professional and the project was completed in a timely manner. We recently used Drury Design to remodel our master bathroom. It was a challenging project because our master suite is on the third floor of our 1926 home. Our designer was Alicia Saso. She was an absolute professional, a good listener and problem solver. She also took a lot of the stress off of us by working closely with the various subcontractors. Each person who worked on the job was top notch in their area. They were all talented, communicated with us, and protected the rest of our home. In addition to the bath, they recommended Stanley to do the hardwood floors in the master bedroom. The entire project is beautiful, functional and we couldn't be happier.

When we relocated to our new home, we knew we wanted Gail Drury to design our kitchen, home office and laundry room area. We had used her three times before in our previous residence (kitchen, laundry room, basement entertainment and kitchen area) and were extremely satisfied with her design creativity as well as her cabinet and appliance offerings. This time around we also used Gail's recommended installation contractor. From the initial planning meetings to the final touch-ups, the Drury Design team went over and above our expectations. Our renovations were done on time and exactly within our budget. We highly recommend Gail and look forward to using her in the future on our bathroom redesigns and closet improvements.

We finished a major kitchen/1st floor remodeling project with Drury Design in May, 2016. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! Had the pleasure of working with Alicia Saso. The first thing I noticed about Alicia is that she really listens...and writes it down! Alicia was very creative, providing wonderful design suggestions throughout the process. Drury Design completely renovated our kitchen from traditional to a more transitional, contemporary design. Everything was replaced and rethought. The vision by our designer, Alicia Sasso, was beyond exceptional and the service by all team members was outstanding! We love the kitchen! It functions great and is everything we hoped for. Because we were so satisfied by the outcome of the kitchen, we used Alicia and Drury again for our master bath and closet redesign. Again, another job that was exceptional in all respects. One last item to note is that Drury takes the schedule seriously. It is not just a guide it is reality. We never ran off schedule on either project. It was a pleasure dealing with them!

From design, through construction, the team was on schedule, full of knowledge, great through out with communication and we are beyond pleased! We have had compliment after compliment on the look and new feel. Alicia helped transform our entire house, and it was a lot to ask knowing the large scope of the project!

After being in my home for almost 40 years, I decided a substantial "freshening up" was needed. I started with my master bath, walk-in closet, master bedroom and adjoining laundry area. I talked to three different design groups including Drury; and after seeing Drury's work at a friend's house I was sold! The design process was fun and my designer, Alicia, was full of ideas and very patient with me as I made my way through all of the decision making. She quickly got a feel for what I liked/didn't like and made suggestions accordingly. The construction crew was very professional, courteous and NEAT totally cleaning up after themselves each and every day before leaving! I was always kept informed as to who would be at the house each day and what would be going on. If an issue arose as work progressed, I was immediately told about it and told what my options were. No surprises. There was one issue that developed with a tile manufacturer but Drury's staff was right there, went to bat for me and stayed on top of the situation until a resolution was determined. I am so pleased with the whole remodel process and the end results that I am now working with Alicia on remodeling the second floor hall bath along with the majority of my first floor.

We worked with Diana Burton on redesigning our kitchen, family room and master bathroom. The design, workmanship, professionalism and reliability we experienced with Drury was absolutely top-notch. They were so good that when my husband and I were watching House Hunters International and joking about buying a run down farm house in the middle of Italy, we agreed we would only do it if the Drury crew came with us! We recently had Drury Design renovate the entire living space in our home. Twenty-two years ago we had Drury Design remodel the kitchen/living room level of our home. Since that time, we’ve experimented with other local contractors will less than remarkable results to downright, head-scratching disappointment. When we made the decision to overhaul the house in preparation for retirement, we returned to Drury Design and were once again delighted by their performance. Everybody we worked with from Gail Drury, the showroom folks through the subcontractors that did the work were fun, easy to work with, helpful and above all great communicators. We always knew what the schedule was. They always addressed our concerns and they made suggestions along the way. Just the fact that we would get a prompt acknowledgement of our emails made us feel like we were important to the company. Their follow through proved it. It was great fun to go through Drury’s design process. They made sure we were aware of all the options we had, yet guided us with budget and design in mind. We were shown all the newest innovations but also the practical and economical as well. By creating and reviewing drawings with us, we were able to visualize our new living space and think through the smallest details that really made it special. Since we were doing essentially the entire house, we wanted a consistency in design and feel. And, even though we worked through the house in four stages over two years, Drury’s attention to that goal produced exactly what we were hoping for. Our builder’s tract home came without straight walls or level floors, but their skilled subcontractors were able to prepare walls and floors to accommodate the demands of geometric tile patterns. As these unknowns appeared, Drury design personnel and subcontractors met us at the house promptly to work out the best solution. We highly recommend Drury Design for any interior construction project for new or remodeled homes.

Our kitchen was in desperate need of an update. Working with Drury Design made our dream kitchen come true. Jason Wickline, our designer, listened to all of our needs patiently and was meticulous in his design and detail in creating our kitchen. All facets of construction from design to finished product were superb. Karl and Matt, our craftsmen, were exceptional in the demo, construction and installation process. We are providing this review for Diana Burton, designer at Drury Design, and her design team. We considered two other designers before selecting Diana even though Drury's quote was higher. We chose Diana because she was significantly more creative than the others we considered and wonderfully patient with our questions and suggestions. As we found over the course of our 4 month kitchen remodel, Diana was adaptable, reliable and she was able to quickly think on her feet when our old home revealed an unplanned problem. Diana was supported by another designer at Drury, Diane, who was adept at measuring even when demolition was not complete and reworked our computerized plans several times as our ideas evolved. Diana also worked well with our contractor, Lake Brothers from Western Springs, IL, who we selected rather than Drury's team because we had worked with them previously, loved their precision and their bid was substantially lower than Drury's. Eight months later, we love our kitchen design and function. Diana's design addressed all of our wish list and then some. In addition, her material and color selection recommendations were fantastic.

Our whole house remodeling project was managed by Drury Design, utilizing designer Diana Burton and general contractors, Tony Horwath & Ed Hepko. It was a pleasure to work with such a proactive and creative team, whose attention to detail and craftsmanship were outstanding.

We hired Drury Design to renovate our kitchen, master bathroom, kid's jack and jill bathroom and two powder rooms. We have nothing but good things to say about this company from our experience with our designer to the execution of the renovation. We could not have asked for a better team of people to work with. Our designer, Janice took all of our criteria whether practical or whimsical and managed to somehow capture what we were looking for. The team of contractors they put together were all very professional and the quality of their work extremely good. They were in my house during the summer from 7:30 to 6 pm everyday and I can honestly say there was not one situation that came up that made me uncomfortable. I felt that the individual contractors such as carpenters, plumbers and electricians were diligent in asking me whenever they were in doubt about an issue even if it was relatively small. It's amazing, when you do a renovation; how important things like placement of light switches etc. become. We were given a day by day schedule of who would be in our house on any given date and a goal for completion. Ultimately we went slightly over time wise but with all the moving parts and the quality of the work, I felt the delay was warranted and justified based on what had caused it. We were given detailed explanations about any issues that came up and never felt as though we were out of the loop. Since completion they have fixed the minor problems that have arisen promptly and without complaint. With any major renovation there will be unexpected glitches, we were well served with Drury who were on top of those problems and working to solve them while making sure we felt comfortable with what they were doing. I have recommended this company to friends and would personally work with them again.

Gail Drury is a consummate professional who takes the time to listen, analyze and design wonderful kitchens and baths. She has done two complete kitchens for us and has the genius to look at a space creatively and develop a design that her competition fails to see. What a gorgeous kitchen I am seated in to write this review. The transformation of this space is quite incredible!! From our first meeting I could tell that Drury Design and my designer Jason Wickline were the perfect match for our kitchen remodel!! The entire kitchen was gutted and redesigned by Jason. He started with several drawings and then modified them as we worked together to achieve a highly functional kitchen that also looked beautiful. Drury Design and Jason guided me through what could have been an overwhelming undertaking!! A schedule was given to me by the project manager Rick and was followed almost to the letter!! The contractor was timely and did his best to keep the kitchen functional until he absolutely had to take the sink and stove out. Jack was efficient, hard working and kept everything as neat and clean as he could!! Attention was paid to every detail and no question or concern was left unanswered. I can't say enough about the professionalism of this company. I would not hesitate to use them for future projects!!! Hopefully a master bath remodel will be in the not so distant future!!! Helped my designer to select cabinets, drafted design, refined cabinetry details, installed cabinets, and helped with appliance purchases and selection in kitchen remodel. Errors were made in the cabinet material interior, which had an odor when they were cut into to install glass. Otherwise Drury is highly responsive and professional. Very helpful during and after the project. Ultra efficient . Other work I've seen of hers is very beautiful, where they do complete remodel. Her workmen are exceptional.

Top notch, reliable and easy to work with. On a 5 month long project, they finished within 1 week of the target deadline with no change orders. But what mattered the most: they stand by their work. We had a couple of random issues show up after the work was done, and John had them fixed without batting an eye. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but you get what you pay for here.

We did a major remodeling project that included a 2 story addition, and a kitchen and master bath redesign. We hired designer/owner Gail, who worked with us throughout the entire process. She even suggested some changes to the architects original plan that made our kitchen much more functional. She was great at helping me make all of the decisions with finishes, appliances, etc., while keeping us within our budget. I recently used Drury Design to remodel my master bathroom. I was trying to keep to a budget but still have a beautiful bathroom that would positively impact resale value. Every night when they finished for the day everything was left spotless. The quality of their work is amazing. Owners Jim and Gail Drury were interested and involved in the project if needed. They have pulled together a very talented team. Janice Teague at Drury designed and installed our kitchen, dining and downstairs bath. We have positive feelings about every step of the process. Janice listened to our lengthy wish list and designed a kitchen to fit our budget. Tom, our installer, was a perfectionist. We were not easy to work with but Drury did not give up on us. I am proud of our kitchen - the design, quality of products and installation. I went to Drury because I was told they were the best. I agree and highly recommend this company. I hired Drury Design for design, project coordination and installation. The original kitchen of our 1920s home was converted into a butlers pantry and mud room adding a completely new eat-in kitchen through new construction. I have worked with Tina Muller in Drury Design to remodel 4 spaces: kitchen, powder room, hall bath and master bath. I have to say, Tina is exceptional to work with. She is also very personable, understanding and patient with clients. Our old space was old and gloomy. We had been in the house for 7-8 years. With so many inspirations we found at Houzz.com and all the magazines, we could not decide exactly what our style is: traditional, modern, contemporary, ... as we like a little bit of everything, but most of all simple, functional, beautiful. Naturally, the design requirements we had given out to Tina for our relevant small-space kitchen and bath were functional, spacious and elegantly zen. On top of that, I had also requested lots of storage in all the spaces so we can keep things away yet accessible easily. I am very impressed with Tina and her work. She was able to sort through and filter our input to pinpoint what our style is in 2 appointments (the free consultation appointment and the subsequent appointment). In the subsequent appointments, we were able to tweak the design to meet all our needs. As we went through the entire process, Tina always made herself available to us with additional design needs, shopping, and picking out the right wall colors. Additionally, the Drury Design is a full-service design firm that I also utilized for project management, installation services. They work with high quality partners and suppliers for my appliances, granite, tiles, lighting needs... Here is a little secret: They really do stand by their projects, products, and services. You get what you pay for and you do pay for quality work and product but they don't nickel and dime you per hour. Thinking back, it was an ambitious project. We are very thankful to work with such a professional team. Tina and the Drury Design team has transformed our 25-year-old house into a beautiful, relaxing, inviting space.
