We recently completed an extensive renovation of our kitchen. The design, planning and execution were completed by Ellis Cabinets and Millwork. These guys were amazing! Their craftsmanship, professionalism and attention to detail were impressive. They were also extremely neat and easy to work with. Our new kitchen exceeds our expectations. It is both beautiful and practical. I give them my highest recommendation.
Ellis Cabinet and Millwork is a family business. Jay Ellis and his team remodeled our kitchen this past winter. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Jay and his son’s. What initially attracted us to Ellis Cabinet and Millwork was the idea of custom designed cabinets. We did not want to be limited to constraints such as pre-constructed cabinets and standard measurements. Having the flexibility to create a kitchen designed to fit our needs was very appealing. Jay’s expertise was evident during our first meeting; further his professional and personable demeanor was much appreciated. During the design process Jay and his son Jason provided useful suggestions and insights. What a great perk to see our cabinets being constructed in their shop! We were impressed with their impeccable work ethic and attention to detail, which was evident throughout the entire remodeling process. While there are numerous reasons we would recommend Ellis Cabinet and Millwork below are just a few: •Our kitchen reflects high quality workmanship and attention to detail •Jay or one of his son’s, Jonathan or Jason, was always on site. We felt much more comfortable knowing that one of them was present when subcontractors were working. •Our kitchen remodeling was completed on time and as quoted. •They were respectful of our home; taking care to pick up each day. •Jay and his sons communicated with us throughout the entire process; phone calls, notes, and in person. They were flexible- working around our schedule by meeting during the evening and weekend hours at our home or their shop/office -whichever was most convenient for us. Jay is a man of integrity and his work will speak for itself.
Jay Ellis was referred to me by a close friend who recently completed a major renovation to his home. I found Jay to be very knowledgeable in his work and helpfull in his suggestions which added value to my project. Jay and his son's were on site each day and brought my home addition under budget. Would I utilize the services of Jay Ellis Cabinetry Inc in the future? Yes
Jay and his team have done a great job at building out our new corporate headquarters in Canton, MA. What we appreciated most were two things. One was the fact that Jay his team performed most of the work themselves versus having a long line up of sub contractors. This fact made it easier to have discussions about design changes on the fly. The second thing was their ability to be craftsmen and woodworkers. The natural maple that was worked into the space is awesome and really warms the office up. We have only been in the space for a few weeks and have already received several compliments with comments like...I really like the natural wood and overall vibe of the office. I think jay brings a ton of experience and heart to the table. He truly wants all of his clients to succeed and to be happy with the end product.
We hired Jay Ellis Cabinet and Millwork to put a 2-story addition on the back of our house. We hired Jay primarily for 3 reasons: 1: He worked on a major renovation of a home near us and it looks fantastic 2: He was the only bidder who had ideas and improvements on the plans we had drawn up by an architect. When I shared those ideas with other bidders, they agreed they were excellent ideas. 3: My confidence that he knew what he was doing and would complete the work on time and within proposed budget. Jay and his crew showed up every day at 7am on the dot and worked tirelessly. Neighbors even commented on how reliably they showed-up. They have great attention to detail, great ideas to solve minor challenges and they care for your property. They used high grade materials and any subcontractors they used were also top-notch. In particular the plastering team did a truly remarkable job. Perfectly smooth walls and ceilings. Any time I had a concern or question Jay was fast to respond accordingly. He always took the requisite action. The project started at the end of July and his work was complete in mid-October. He was on budget as well. We are very happy with the addition and recommend Jay 100%.
We've recently completed a major renovation and remodel of our kitchen and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The entire project, from initial design, demolition, custom cabinetry, and coordination of all plumbing and electrical subcontract work , to the installation and finish carpentry was done by Ellis Cabinets and Millwork. A family business, Jay Ellis and his sons take great pride in the high quality of their work and their meticulous attention to detail. Installing a "new" kitchen in our 300 year old antique home posed many unique challenges but the Ellis' succeeded in getting both the mechanics and aesthetics just right. They designed and installed a period kitchen that looks and functions perfectly. From beginning to end they were personally involved in every phase of the project, communicating regularly with us each step of the way to make sure our questions were answered and our expectations were met. The Ellis' are not only craftsmen they are gentlemen, honest, sincere, and thoroughly reliable. It was a pleasure working with them and having them in our home. The entire experience could hardly have been more positive or satisfactory. We recommend them with great pleasure and confidence!
