Essence Design Studio

We were referred to Essence Design Studio by a former client of Essence, who was also a neighbor of ours. Jessica was prompt, professional, and so easy to work with. She truly helped me realize my vision by her layout, sourcing of tile and other unique design choices that have made our master bath simply stunning as well as more functional. We've been in our house 20 yrs and to go from cookie cutter/builder/original owner's choices to our own beautiful, unique space is all we could have asked and hoped for!

We hired Jessica to help us with the design of a remodel we were doing for our kitchen, attached laundry and powder room. She presented us with several beautiful design options. Jessica worked well in coordination with a contractor we had hired. She was thoughtful and considerate throughout the project. She helped with selections of materials and always seemed to understand the vision we had of the final product we wanted. She was invaluable during the whole process. She kept our budget in mind with selections/ideas she presented. We like our Dura Supreme cabinets very much and are so very pleased with how the remodel turned out thanks to Jessica's design work. She has such an excellent eye for the details, function and general aesthetics of every part of the remodel. I would love to have an opportunity to work with Jessica again for any future kitchen/bath projects we would need to do. She was wonderful!

We hired Jessica for our kitchen remodel. We wanted to do a lot of the work ourselves and wanted to hire a designer that would be open to working closely with us without requiring us to hire out everything or buying "their" certain products. I was lucky enough to find Jessica by researching other reviews on line. I had a 1950's pink and maroon bathroom I had lived with for 16 years. I had been wanting to redo my bathroom for some time, but needed to find someone who could help me bring my vision together. Jessica was that person! She helped me with the project from start to finish. She took my rough ideas and her design knowledge and turned them into a beautiful spa like bathroom. When I wasn't sure what I wanted or I wasn't sure what something would look like, she was quick to send a visual, whether internet photo or a simulation of my own kitchen. She did that with a lot of different things: cabinets, flooring, lighting, wall color. The process is now finished and not only am I thrilled with the outcome, but it feels like its actually mine, with my styles and colors. The kitchen is beautiful and functional at the same time. Jessica Allison is a joy to work with. She is a perfect blend of detailed organization with talented creativity. She handled issues quickly, was easily accessible. Her communication with my contractor (also a professional I would recommend) was great. She works hard, she listens well, is sensitive to budget (for example, she recommended a range of options from expensive to inexpensive in areas of lighting, flooring, hardware, faucets. This was incredibly helpful in determining if this was an area I wanted to put some money in or I didn't care and could save and go on the inexpensive side.) I felt the project was well-managed and that we were in good hands all the way through. We have additional projects and Jessica is the first person I will be turning to for help. She is everything you could want in a designer: professional, creative, sensitive to client satisfaction, up to date on style, while appreciative of classic design. Essence Design was contracted to redesign and manage the complete remodel of our master bathroom. The redesign has vastly improved the the appearance and functionality of the limited space that we had for this room. Jessica listened very carefully and was able to come up with a design that exceeded our expectations. Her advice on the selection of materials was critical to to achieving the look that we desired.

My husband and I called Jessica seeking some help with a bathroom remodel. She was awesome!! We weren't sure if she would be willing to work with us because we didn't need a ton of help--just a couple hours of her time and expertise--but she was more than willing and we were extremely pleased. She came to our home and we told her/showed her ideas/where we were at with making various decisions and she gave feedback/helped us make decisions as to what would look best in the space, the tiles that complimented each other, paint color etc. We will definitely call her again when we get around to do more decorating in our home!

After seven years of putting together ideas for a kitchen remodel, we finally took the plunge and hired Jessica to help our vision become a reality. She did an excellent job of taking our ideas of what we envisioned in our outdated space and turning it into a redesigned space that was light, airy and functional, and exactly what we wanted. While we had many of the individual elements already chosen, her involvement in the design element as well as cabinetry was indispensible. In hiring her, we also elected to order our cabinetry through her ( Dura Supreme ) and could not be happier with the results. The cabinets turned out beautiful and for a great price. Any issues that arose during the process were dealt with quickly by Jessica with little more than a phone call or text by me.
