Our kitchen cabinets were original 50's and worn... I considered refacing but laminating "today's wood" over the original high-quality Burch was senseless. I opted to refinish--but discovered that hardly no one was interested. Was told "nobody does" anymore" Found Expert Woodworking. The owner (Bob) fully explained the job-scope and also gave good advice. Throughout the job, his crew exhibited professionalism, attention to detail, and pride in their work. Additionally (since we were out of a kitchen) there was good communication and they held their schedule and the cost. The results? Beautiful. (They just don't make cabinets the way they use to)

Bob and his team made a murphy bed happen in a space that other people said wouldn't work. It works great, fits great, and looks fabulous. They showed up when expected and were efficient and easy to work with I would definitely use them again.

Bob and his team delivered everything we asked for and more on our built-in cabinet project. He listened to our desires, made excellent suggested based on his expertise, and turned the piece around very quickly. He worked with our AV/Electrician to give precise directions for all prep work. I did a major remodel on my home in Palo Alto and wanted custom cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms to create modern functionality, fit some very unusual spaces and ensure perfect alignment with the original style of the 1939 house with similar detail to cabinetry done in that time period. Bob’s work was beyond my expectations. At the time I remember being unsure about going with fully custom high-end cabinetry and now – 10 years later - I’m so happy I made that choice. I know that I am going to feel the same way 10, 20 and more years down the road. There have been a couple of times where a drawer or cabinet has gotten slightly out of adjustment with the house settling, and Bob has come to make the minor tweaks so everything moved smoothly again. He provided that type of first class service from the beginning of the project and clearly way beyond. While I think Bob’s expertise is large scale beautiful projects like this, on a side note – I know that he does amazing refinish work and he even helped me create an extension to a custom dining room table I had made in Asia. I’m able to add the piece and legs on my own in about 5 minutes and store it in a closet but when it’s put together it looks like the original table – pretty amazing.

We did a lot of research and ultimately selected Bob and his team to build our kitchen cabinets and several other built-ins. Compared to other cabinet makers, Bob not only had the most impressive history of quality projects, but also provided a high-level of customer service throughout the process. Bob guided us through the design process by listening intently to our needs and providing several expert recommendations. The final product exceeded our expectations in quality, time, and service. Although we did experience a few problems during the installation, Bob was a true professional and quickly addressed all of our issues without question. Bob's cabinets are the centerpiece of our newly remodeled kitchen. Highly recommended.

I researched several woodworking experts to replace the top on a piece of my furniture. One company said they weren't interested in the job, another two never responded.
