About Us

Fletcher Cameron is a full service kitchen design company focused on modern aesthetics. Kitchens are where people gather, talk and express themselves. It is where thinking takes place. They need to be lively, fresh, beautiful, and most of all functional. Good things are expected to come out of kitchens--good food and good conversation. OUR DESIGN TEAM: Christine Ingraham, Principal cingraham@fletchercameron.com Gregory Spiggle, Principal gspiggle@fletchercameron.com Both of these talented designers have dedicated their lives to creating interesting and modern spaces--whether it be houses, kitchens, lighting, showrooms, or corporate lobbies. Receiving their MFA’s from Cranbrook Academy of Art and Yale University, respectively, they have won numerous awards for their work and continually devote their time to creating new and exciting products. The 2010 launch of their new modular cabinet system, BOX KITCHEN is one of their most ambitious. Both are very skilled at translating ideas into reality as well as organizing and visualizing spaces. They are visionary and productive.

As a high end custom home builder on Martha’s Vineyard, we’ve had the great pleasure of working with Fletcher Cameron (FC) on several projects. Bringing FC onto our team during the bidding and pre-construction process has helped us win contracts for projects that require the highest level of quality. With their highly coordinated approach incorporating in-house design, fabrication and installation, our relationship with FC has has given our company a competitive edge. We are in the final weeks of a large project with FC including a complete casework package, stone counters and Neolith flooring. The precise tolerances and flawless finishes FC has delivered proves once again that they are in a class of their own. These types of projects can be very stressful so having Christine and Greg on the job gives us peace of mind and happy customers. We love working with such professionals that also have a great sense of humor and humility. We are looking forward to the next chance to work together.

About 15 years ago Fletcher Cameron redid my kitchen. As the house was custom designed, I was wanted to respect the original layout while modernizing the kitchen in the unique manner that Fletcher Cameron was known for. They did an outstanding remodel! It has held up well - a burnished granite countertop, grid-like wood cabinets that are minimal, some open and others with doors that are stained different colors. They also opened up the space to integrate it with the dining and living rooms. I love it! Christine and Greg are a great team, and are fun to work with as well.

This ingenious small company produces exquisite, highest caliber designs of highest quality materials and brilliant designs. The work - whether one-off objects or entire rooms, - is contemporary, artful and extraordinarily facile with craft and materials. Since 1984, we have purchased from both their showrooms and/or commissioned special furniture and particularly, kitchen design and components, - all of it enhancing both our modest and more deliberately designed (aka done-up) residences in Maine (in Southwest Harbor, on Mount Desert Island/Maine) and in Connecticut. Our friends have, for at least three decades, admired our Fletcher Cameron items and designs in our places and themselves, been extremely pleased/proud to also have had this amazing company take on even more major work for their own places in New England. It is important to add that Fletcher Cameron designs to all budgets without sacrificing the quality of materials which has always been heartening to us.

This design team worked with me from the time the architects were drawing plans for our new house. Therefore their design concepts were integral parts to the over all "look" of our home. I was already aware of their aesthetic vision as I had bought furniture that they had designed and fabricated. Clean, minimal lines are their hallmark and this concept was immediately evident in their handsome showroom. This simplicity, coupled with a rich palette make their kitchens at once peaceful to work in, and yet vibrant, with eye- popping bursts of color. My home is modern and open to the world outside. But it also has rustic and industrial elements....concrete floor, exposed steel beams. They complimented this New England vernacular with a kitchen island that references a work bench with steel legs, and open shelving for plates and glasses. We met often to keep our visions in synch.

Fletcher Cameron executed a complex and refined project with varied materials and attention to detail that we demanded. The project included kitchen, pantry, 3 bathrooms and office. The house is published in Rural Modern, Elk Run Ridge for review. They did and outstanding job and we were extremely pleased!

Fletcher Cameron (FC) did a masterful job providing a complete kitchen as well as a lot of additional built-in cabinetry throughout our home. The design was extremely successful as it fulfilled our desire to have an open interior space with clean lines and colors which occurred in the local environment. The quality of the materials are outstanding, engineered to last for decades. As a further testament to the quality of the work, This project has been published in trade magazines. In terms of cost, FC was very competitive with other proposals we had received. The project came in on budget and on time. I would include FC on any home project requiring high quality contemporary cabinetry.
