Let us answer your different points:
1. At the time you were at the store, the Designer was helping another client. She was gathering price information for them, and probably that is the reason why she didn't see you when you came in and wasn't able to greet you properly. Our process is to greet clients within the first 5 minutes they are in the store.
2. Our understanding is that you were asked if you were planning to renovate the Main Bath, Ensuite or Powder Room, and that is the reason why you were shown the main bath that we have as a display. As you were talking to our Representative you explained that your bathroom was slightly bigger than the one on display. You also mentioned that you were planning to convert the bathtub into a shower. At that point, we were gathering as much information as we could to be able to provide you with accurate responses.
3. We provided you, as we always do with all new clients, a rough estimate of what the display costs. We use this as a benchmark as most people don't have an idea on how much a renovation costs. You were also told, that if that was the price you had in mind we could set up an appointment, or if you prefer to think about it you could call us to set up an appointment at a later date.
At any moment in time, you were pressured to make a decision immediately, as you would still have to go thru the design process of having a design consultation, approving design concepts, selection of materials, quote revisions and final approval of a contract. What you were told is to think about it, and if you were still interested in a consultation to call us back and we would set it up for you.
It seems that there were misunderstandings and we apologize that your experience with us was not favorable, especially as we have worked so hard all these years to have an excellent customer service and customer satisfaction, and you can get that from all of our reviews.
The Floor and Bath Design Team
Please accept our sincere apologies for not providing you with a quote on a timely manner.
If you recall when you were at the showroom we mentioned that we were not taking partial renovations as our calendar was full with full bathroom renovations until the mid of May.
A couple of weeks later, we called you and let you know there was a chance we could fit your job in. At that time, we set up an appointment with one of the Designers. Our turnaround on quotes is generally 2 weeks due to the high demand we have from future clients.
On March 28th we replied to your email to let you know your quote was being reviewed by the owner prior to being emailed.
Sadly, due to unforeseen issues that were out of our control we couldn't forward that quote as per our expected timelines.
We apologize once again for any inconvenience this might have caused you. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer satisfaction to our clients. We regret that we we were not able to provide you with that experience.
We are pleased to read you were able to get your job done to your satisfaction and budget.
The Floor & Bath Design Team.
