Tyler did an outstanding job managing the cabinetry and appliance selections for our home renovation. The renovation included all new cabinetry for the kitchen, two bathrooms, and dining room. All new appliances were installed in the completely-remodeled kitchen. Tyler was very helpful in assisting with selection decisions and kept us informed of delivery and install dates. He immediately followed up on any concerns and made sure issues were resolved to our satisfaction. He also worked well with our general contractor. I highly recommend Tyler and the JAE company.

Tyler's design was beautiful and well thought out. He brought together elegant design with my growing family's needs, creating a beautiful centerpiece to my home. I trusted Tyler completely to choose the details in my kitchen, something I do not usually feel comfortable handing over. But he understood our style and took it to the next level. There was a few project issue but Tyler did help and when things went wrong, he remedied the situation. I would recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a redesign.

Tyler worked with my husband and I too do a complete update of our kitchen. He was always professional, listened to what we wanted, and suggested changes that we ultimately were satisfied with. Tyler seemed to intuitively understand what we were interested in doing with our kitchen and made appropriate suggestions. Consequently, we're very pleased with our new kitchen. We would recommend him highly.

Tyler designed my new kitchen. He is a good listener and very quickly understood the look I wanted. He chose the cabinets, appliances, counter tops back splash and flooring as well as advising me on colors to be used in adjoining rooms. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with Tyler's design work. After a year in the new kitchen, there is not a single thing that I would change.

Tyler and I worked together on the Hampton Inn Downtown Columbus project. Because of the nature of the project, working 2 floors at a time, the timing of receiving the cabinets was crucial. Not only did he make sure we received the correct cabinet count, he worked to ensure the Jae Team delivered as scheduled. Always professional, always helpful, always pleasant to work with, I'd like to put him on a color copier and churn out 20 more just like him. He's my first choice of who to call for my cabinet needs.

I love my JAE company cabinets. Tyler was wonderful to work with he is a great communicator. I didn't really have to worry about any details it was all built so much more amazing than I could have come up with anyway! Very happy with the quality and much cheaper than quotes I received from Amish cabinet makers. Also Tyler suggested dekton counters which I had never heard of before. They are amaze balls I love them.

In a word, awful. Most unprofessional individual we've ever had the misfortune to have hired. At one point when we were trying to work through issues caused by his inability to use a tape measure he started crying. If anyone should have cried it should have been us for hiring this individual and JAE.

Tyler Swartzmiller was incredible to work with. We did a whole house reno, and used Tyler/JAE Company to design our kitchen, supply cabinets to kitchen, bar, bath areas of our home. Tyler made the entire process painless and gave me good advice on getting everything that I wanted within/as close to my budget as possible. I appreciated his candor and guidance in making my selections, and per his advice was able to get my dream kitchen. He is a very knowledgable professional and I would not hesitate to recommend his services. The showroom at JAE is inspiring, and they have excellent customer service. We are thrilled.

Tyler and his crew at Jae Company did an extraordinary job in helping me rebuild my house. Tyler designed cabinets, countertops, and lighting for my kitchen (500+ sq ft) and three bathrooms. He came up with a great design in the kitchen with contrasting cabinets and countertops. The main counter has white cabinets with a gray quartz countertop and the 11’ island has gray cabinets with a white countertop. Everyone who sees it loves it and says it’s stunning. I had 18 for Thanksgiving and there was room for everyone with multiple cooks at work! Throughout the project Tyler was always available and would stop by to check on progress. His installers were true artists. The cabinets and countertops in the bathrooms are similarly outstanding. Tyler seemed as excited to work on my project as I was. His work is definitely worthy of the Clintonville Tour of Homes! You should be so fortunate as to have Tyler work with you!

Tyler helped me to redesign my bathroom in a practical way I hadn't even thought of. He picked out floors, countertops, shower tiling and fixtures with the transitional feel I was looking for. He gave our very 80's master bathroom into an updated fresh look and feel.

Tyler was a tremendous help with our kitchen project, and his knowledge, his professionalism, and, most importantly, his ability to listen, resulted in a new kitchen that we absolutely love! I will confidently recommend him to others who have design work that needs to be done, and consult with him for any other projects we may decide to do.

Tyler helped us redesign our Master Bath. It was a complete remodel & he did a great job. He was professional, down to earth, listened to what we had in mind for the project, worked well with the contractors we hired & all in all turned out a beautiful bathroom for us. We will definitely look to Tyler again when we are ready to begin another project.

We contacted Tyler to design an updated kitchen and master bath for a house we had recently purchased. He listened carefully to our wants and needs and came up with reworked rooms that we love. He guided us through the process of choosing materials and appliances and was always available to answer any questions we had during the entire renovation. While the layout of the kitchen did not change much, the master bath required a total redesign. We now have a great shower, beautiful and functional storage, and privacy where it's needed most. We are so pleased with how both rooms turned out.

Tyler and the entire Jae Company team do an amazing job of managing projects start to finish. As a vendor I cannot recommend them more. Tyler provides clear and consistent communications through the duration of a project we are completing. It's a treat to see the designs they are working on and watching as they come to life.

We contacted Tyler based on other reviews on houzz.com, and we are so glad that we did! We wanted to remodel the kitchen in our home, built in 1920. We interviewed 3 designers. Of them all, Tyler was the absolute best. He responded right away to our request; he spent time looking around our home and getting to know our style; and he prepared not one but two sets of possible designs. His designs were stunning, and the finished work was better than we ever dreamed it could be. Tyler came to the site regularly throughout the entire process. He worked with the crew from the JAE company to make sure that the work was completed on time and on budget. When we asked for changes along the way, he was supportive and responsive. He responded promptly to every email or phone call. And, if there were snags along the way, he made sure they were worked out, taking nearly all of the work and decisions off of our plates. If I had to do another room, I would definitely call Tyler. He is simply the best!

Tyler was totally professional and did an excellent job. He took my awful kitchen and redesigned it into a beautiful and practical space. He was always available, had wonderful ideas, and listened and respected my vision as well. His work was on time and he quickly responded to any glitches that arose along the way.

Tyler Swartzmiller is the best designer I have ever worked with. We have had large remodel projects for our homes four other times and I am a daughter of a home builder, so I can make a comparison. From the moment I walked into the design center to meet with Tyler for the first time I felt a connection. He really listened to what I thought I wanted and was able to guide my husband and I thru the project. I had previously met with two other companies for this project and Tyler's enthusiasm and knowledge were far superior. We initially only wanted to remodel the kitchen, put in an island and add new granite and back splash. In the end we replaced the cabinets as well. We were so happy to find Tyler we remodeled our master bath. too. Initially we walked around the beautiful design center to get a feel for what I liked. The center was beautiful. I later found out that Tyler designed it. As a designer, Tyler was fabulous. He visited our home, talked to us about what we liked and did not like, noticed details that we missed and made many observations and recommendations. In the kitchen, we changed our lighting, decided to replace the cabinets, slightly changed the configuration, and decided on the size of the island all because of Tyler's suggestions. We wanted to gut the bathroom. He recommended taking out a wall, adding a pocket door, using a 2 level double sink to maintain the handicapped access. Tyler then presented a proposal that included proposed selections for the project. After spending time finalizing the selection of the cabinets with his guidance, he met us at the granite factory, brought a door of our cabinets and walked us thru, explaining the pricing codes. My husband and I are somewhat color blind so Tyler readily described the colors to us in any slab i was interested in. If he has not been with us I am sure we would have made terrible choices. We asked him to find something in the lower price range for our bath, he found a beautiful slab that was lower priced. As to flooring in the kitchen, we wanted to have our wood floor refinished by someone else. Tyler brought wood color swatches and suggested three colors that would work. At our request, he also proposed paint colors for our painter. He recommended drawer pulls, plumbing fixtures. tile, sinks and the bathtub. We had an itemized proposal and drawings that were frequently updated as final decisions were made. This was truly a collaborative project. When the construction started, Tyler was on site when the workman arrived. He stopped in every day and communicated with the workmen and us. We knew what to expect. If we had question or wanted to talk about anything, he got back to us quickly and always followed up to make sure we were satisfied. His attention to detail and rapport with the workmen made the project run smoothly. Potential mistakes were caught quickly. I would recommend Tyler to anyone needing a designer. His manner is respectful and his ideas are always a step ahead and well thought out. He was very mature and more professional than people that have been in the business for years. He is truly a nice young man who I believe will be quit successful in any area of design.

Tyler helped us remodel our kitchen. It was beautiful and functional. Everyone who walks in can't get over the transformation. He is a complete professional, was on top of the trades people and kept the project on time. Highly recommended!

We had our kitchen and two bathrooms remodeled. All three rooms were complete guts, new cabinets, counter tops, flooring, tile, and lighting. Tyler guided us through the somewhat overwhelming task of selecting materials, answered all of our questions, and visited the work site frequently during renovation. The work was completed on time and on budget. A couple minor "tweaks" were required after the work was completed but they were handled quickly and without question.

Tyler did the layout and design for our kitchen remodel. The result was even better than we imagined. He was professional, knowledgable, and pleasant to work with. There were a few challenges, as with any project, but Tyler was resourceful and imaginative and found great solutions. This was our first experience working with a designer and it was a pleasure.

Tyler redesigned our kitchen and it turned out beautifully. He was highly professional and at the same time he was personable and friendly. We would highly recommend him to all. We are just sorry he is no longer in the Greater Cincinnati Area because we still have some work for him to do!

We were lucky enough to have Tyler come to our home to help us design our new kitchen. He always arrived on time and was very professional and curteous. Of the professionals we talked with, he was the only one who truly listened to what I was saying I wanted and liked , instead of telling me what I should want and like. I cook and entertain A LOT and Tyler really took that into consideration when making the plans for our space. He had the "anything is possible" attitude, but at the same time really kept our budget in mind, and made amazing plans, so, we went with him. We couldn't have been happier!! We have had terrible experiences in the past with remodeling projects, so we were a bit worried, but Tyler put all of those worries to rest! His plans were AMAZING! The color scheme I had wanted and LOVED, all soffits removed, plumbing and electrical re-routed, existing lighting removed, new lighting installed (the perfect amount!, I was worried it wouldn't be enough, but he was right!), all appliances moved into much more practical places (and places I would have never thought of), beautiful cabinets (actually gained cabinet space with his design!) with incredible hardware and under cabinet lighting, quartz countertops that completely fit my "wants" that I didn't even know existed (I love quartz but the look of marble, so he found me quartz that looks just like marble,!), an enormous island that is the perfect size (but again I would have never thought I could go that big, but he knew what he was doing!) and an absolutely gorgeous limestone backsplash!! He hit the nail on the head over and over! There wasn't one thing that we wanted to change with his plans! I was shocked! It was even more amazing than we ever thought our outdated and dark kitchen could look! Not only do we absolutely LOVE our new kitchen, he kept us totally in budget and got this big project completed in a VERY timely manner (which was WEEKS faster than the other bids had quoted!). We LOVED working with Tyler and would do it again in a heartbeat!!
