Homestead Kitchens came highly recommended, in fact, it sounded almost too good to be true. Like everyone we've had our share of remodeling and large-scale projects over the years, which never finished on time and came in over-budget – that was the norm, until Homestead Kitchens came along. From the very first conversation Maryanne Reynolds explained their approach and methodology, and equally important, she listened to our needs and vision. We soon met Kevin Connolly who came to see our kitchen to get a better sense of the space, and after a few exchanges and a visit to their showroom, it was clear we wanted HK to remodel our kitchen - and so our collaboration began. Over a span of several months, we canvassed the Greater Boston area looking at countertops, kitchen sinks, faucets, tiles, lighting, and paint colors, not to mention kitchen equipment, hoping each time we were making the right choices, but Maryanne counselled us every step of the way, offering guidance (and patience). No matter how many questions we had Maryanne and Kevin got back to us right away, keeping an open line of communication whether by email, phone, or text. Throughout the project Maryanne provided (with pinpoint accuracy) 3-D mockups, floor plans, planning, and budget schedules, while Kevin walked us through the demo and installation phases, orchestrating a group of seasoned experts (plumbers, electricians, and countertop specialists). A special mention goes out to Sully, a “do-it all” artisan wizard, and an integral part of the HK team. The job lasted 6 weeks, finished on-time, and within budget. The overall experience and high-quality results surpassed our expectations. Homestead Kitchen has set the bar for all future remodeling projects (…hopefully by then they will also do bathrooms ;-).

We had an excellent experience with Homestead Kitchens. They listen to their clients and provide several options for a design that will work for the space. Every detail is very organized and communicated timely. The biggest benefit is that they stay on track to the schedule and budget quoted at the beginning of the job No hidden surprises! My wife and I recently had our kitchen/dining room remodeled by HK, and we absolutely love the results. Having gone through several large scale home projects with contractors, I can confidently say that my experience with HK was the best by far. They take you through the entire process from start to finish: design, hardware/cabinet/countertop selection and build-out. Maryanne Reynolds, one of the designers, was fantastic and presented us with several design options (in exact 3D detail) that catered to what we wanted and also drew on her years of experience knowing what will look best upon completion. We never felt rushed and she was devoted to ensuring we both had a design we were happy with. When it came time for construction, Kevin Connolly orchestrated all of the contractors (carpenter, plumber, electrician, countertop specialists and cabinet deliveryman) to ensure there were no gaps in work. He kept us informed every step of the way as to the work schedule in the coming days, and we were never left wondering what was happening. One of their master carpenters, Chris Sullivan, was responsible for the cabinet installation. Chris has an obvious passion for his work and has an extreme breadth of knowledge from his years of experience in home construction. His work is truly a work of art. It is rare to find people like Chris these days, and we are grateful that he gave us the kitchen of our dreams. Homestead Kitchens transformed our 1980’s oak and tile kitchen into a modern beauty. Maryanne guided us in picking out cherry cabinets, red birch flooring, new granite countertops and matching granite tabletop (instead of an island that wasn’t going to work to our liking.) Maryanne and Kevin listened to our preferences for layout, lighting, and cabinetry design, and were good about going with our choices when either theirs or ours would have been ok. We appreciated that flexibility. Kevin headed up the laborers. These guys were the most respectful, thoughtful, helpful, and careful guys you could hope for. Professionals, one and all. Our project was entirely during the pandemic. All precautions were taken, some meetings were virtual. Maryanne met us at the tile store, offered to meet us at the granite shop. The kitchen was done in 7 weeks as promised. Thank you Homestead Kitchens. We love our new kitchen!

Homestead was a top-notch firm to work with. They completed the work during covid in a safe way that limited exposure to both them and us. Professional, experienced and problem-solvers from start to finish. Maryanne worked with us closely to design every single detail of the kitchen with care, making sure I'd thought through every detail. She followed up quickly and gave top customer care. When the work crews came to the house, they were experienced, careful, respectful, and cleaned up the worksite daily. Most importantly, the floor, cabinetry and appliance installation was impeccable. I was impressed with the military precision of their work schedule; not a day was wasted waiting for the next contractor or inspector to arrive. From demo to delivery was the seven weeks they promised, us, not the 3-6 month project most kitchens take. The end product is gorgeous. I would highly recommend them for your kitchen project.

We love our new kitchen and cannot say enough about Homestead! We worked with Kitchen Designer Maryanne and she is fabulous. Maryanne patiently worked with us through many design iterations and the end result exceeded all our expectations. We have received many compliments from friends and family. Although we started our design in 2019 we got delayed by the COVID pandemic. We were one of the first projects to kick off during the pandemic. Kevin and his team sealed off the work area and were very conscientious about wearing masks and distancing when they were around us. Even with the pandemic, the job was completed on time and budget.

We can’t say enough good things about our experience working with Homestead Kitchens. From the start, Maryanne Reynolds was a pleasure to work with. She gave us excellent guidance on the kitchen design, while respecting our decisions and personal tastes. She was responsive, detailed, transparent, and responsible for all the details that had to happen each day to keep the project moving forward. Communication with the team Kevin, Paul and Sully once the project was underway was also excellent. They gave us an overall view of how the project would flow, but also gave us weekly and often daily updates so we would know exactly what to expect when, and finished exactly when they said they would. Most people dread the process home construction projects, but HK actually made it fun and we are so happy with the results!

Kate and her team have made my kitchen dreams come true! I had a good idea of what I wanted and working with Kate made the process so much easier. The 3D renderings were especially helpful as it allowed me and my husband to get a true sense of what the end result would look like. Her patience with my countless emails and questions, and her clear expertise in kitchen design lead to a kitchen we are thrilled with. She's honest, responsive and great to work with.

We had a great experience with Homestead. Having built two houses, plus done a bathroom renovation, this project was one of the smoothest. They told us our project would take 6 weeks and they did it in 6 weeks to the day. That was truly remarkable. The work happened exactly as they predicted. We were lucky, because there were no real surprises. They were very helpful and accommodating. Our microwave broke after a few days in our temporary kitchen and they lent us another one for the duration. They cleaned up every day; even down in the basement where dust had fallen through. We were very happy with the quality of the work and the finished product. They have been back to fix a few teething problems but have been very responsive about these things. All the crew were so friendly and let you know exactly what is going on. I work from home so I appreciated when they let me know which days would be noisier and whether I would lose power for a short amount of time. It was a joy to work with Kate, the designer. Having her come with us to pick the quartz and tile, made our lives so much easier. My husband and I have different tastes, but the design seemed to come together very fast and was something we both liked. I would definitely use them again except probably won't be doing another kitchen renovation! Kevin explained to me at one point, that the reason everything works like clockwork is because they only do kitchens and know everything about kitchens. I do think that is what has made them so successful
