HT Home Design

I found HT Home Design to remodel my 1990's kitchen after working with another designer that fell through. In hindsight, that was absolutely for the best! Carie and Brian came to my home, we talked for an hour or so, I showed them some ideas and colors I was thinking of, and a week or two later I saw Carie's design. It was like she was inside my head, pulling together the bits and pieces I had and making it so much better than I could have imagined. When I saw the actual samples of tile, flooring, paint, counters and countertops together - it was gorgeous! I didn't change one thing. Working with Brian and the crew during the construction phase was so easy. Every day Brian was onsite to coordinate with his workers and update me on progress. He quickly and clearly addressed any questions I had. Any glitches (only a few, thankfully) were discussed with me and resolved to my satisfaction. We added work in the adjoining living room, which makes the entire project much more attractive. The quality of work was excellent, the custom cabinets and paint are beautiful, lighting, tile and flooring installed beautifully. It is clear all workers are chosen for their eye to quality workmanship. Yes, there was dust, but they cleaned the worksite every night, and they really took into consideration that my pets and I had to live in the house during construction. Yes there was noise, but from machines, not workers. Everyone was polite, friendly, and easy to have in my home. I could not have asked for a better experience! And, best of all, I LOVE my kitchen and living room. I can't believe this is my house and I get to live and cook here!

I can not express to you the magnitude of happiness I have felt from working with all of the staff at HT Home Design. Each were polite and courteous, honest and amazingly expert in their skills. I have heard stories about other companies and their employees starting late and finishing early with many breaks in between. These guys were total "workers" - always early and continuously working. The most famous story is, always know and plan on the remodel to finish months after the completion date that is initially given to you. Not true with HT Home Design - even while completely remodeling a 1920 bathroom and dealing with an owner with non conventional ideas, their completed work was done sooner then even other contractors initial estimates. I could go on and on with the many attributes that this company demonstrated to me but I am out of space.

The folks at HT communicate well, are friendly, professional and display a level of energy and enthusiasm I hadn't seen during my months-long search for a contractor. It was a pleasure to work with them; they understood the look I wanted for my kitchen remodel, and their very talented crew came promptly every day until the project was done. I now have a beautiful kitchen that enhances the look and value of my 1920's era home. A very positive experience!

HT Home Design recently completed a complete remodel of my home. They did the entire interior as well as painting and stucco work on the exterior. I could not be happier with the results. They completely remodeled my kitchen, bathrooms, replaced all windows and doors, did all new lighting, and built us a walk in closet (among other things). Our house was completely transformed into the home of our dreams. The design staff was extremely helpful throughout the entire process (Thanks Jackie/Brian!). They provided us with ideas and direction every step of the way. They took requirement idea that we had and found a way to incorporate them into the final design. Most importantly they helped us to understand that some of our ideas were a little disjointed and nudged us in the right direction. They had a really good feeling for the overall design of the house and helped us come up with a design that flowed well throughout the entire house. The construction crew was very professional and accommodating. They kept us apprised of the progress on a daily basis, which we really appreciated. They also kept the work area very clean and tidy. Everyday after they left they put everything away and cleaned the work space. They were very accommodating to our need to continue to live in the house for the duration of the project. Brian was great working with our bank on our renovation loan. He was very prompt in signing and returning paperwork and working with the inspectors to get all required approvals. Overall I give HT Home Design an A+. I have some small projects that I would like to do in the future and I definitely plan to use HT.

HT Home Design was a great experience. His team was wonderful, our master bath and suite turned out beautiful. Our job was very custom and with every element of the project Brian walked us through the process and how it was going to work. My major concern was not having a lot of outside sub-contractors and with working with HT they have their own tillers, framer, painters and sheet rockers. Which limited the down time in between processes. He completed our project within his estimate time window.

HT Home Design recently completed a home remodeling project for my husband and myself. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of the project including the professional approach that everyone involved took. They were very involved throughout the entire job. The creative designer and contractors met with us continuously to make sure we were happy. with everything. They helped us with anything and everything including designs , products, appliances, and various other decisions. Everyone was efficient and completed the project in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. The workers were neat and clean and made sure they cleaned every day before leaving. At the completion of the remodel housekeepers were sent in to thoroughly clean. Communication was always quick and simple. Emails, texts, and phone calls were always immediately returned. My husband and I were very pleased with the finished product. We recommended HT Home Design to several of our friends who also hired them and are also pleased that they chose this company to do their remodel .

We planned our renovation for about a month before we met Brian and Carie. We watch hours and hours of Flip or Flop,Property Brothers and every other home renovation show on TV. We gave them our ideas and budget. The cool thing about HT Design is that you have Carie on your team. She a great designer that actually got to know us and got a feel for our style. She gave us ideas to help with picking out with all the details that go within a kitchen reno, because who the hell has time to look at the options. (Lights,paint,door handles...etc) Brian as the contractor gave us reality with what we can and can't do. He's UPFRONT with cost. Not once during the whole process did we feel like he was trying to nickel and dime us. They're good people and were glad that we found such awesome people here in Stockton!!! The reaction we get from people when they walk in our kitchen is "This is like from a magazine." "This is a bad ass kitchen" We're crazy thankful to have met Brian and Carie. They finished within the 4 weeks as promised. We got exactly what we wanted that's going to last us for until we retire. Lol We have one more renovation and can't wait until we work with them again. #ShopLocal

HT Home Design helped me do a total renovation on my Berkeley home. They agreed to take on the somewhat complicated 203k process (HUD backed renovation loan), and change what was literally a "hoarder" house, it into our dream home. Several other contractors looked at the job and submitted proposals stating largely what they "would not" do -- for liability purposes I assume. HT Home Design came into the process with a true can-do approach. The project was around $350k. They did not nickel and dime me one bit. Rather, they gave me true value for my money. I would hire them in a second given the opportunity. Todd

Brian and Mark worked with me to build a patio cover. They delivered a finished project that is a beautiful addition to my back yard. They met my deadline and left behind no trace of construction once the project was completed. I appreciated their professionalism, high quality of workmanship, and efforts to accommodate my requests. I would not hesitate to work with them again--their integrity and expertise are second to none!

I had a wonderful experience with htVision of Stockton. Both Brian, Mark ,Jackie and Carie were right on top of things. They all had good common sense and good ideas but were open to the homeowner ideas too. Carie is a experience teacher of design and Jackie is learning from her. What a wonderful teacher she is, down to earth, easy to get along with and very pleasant making my experience with the Company a very positive one. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks

We hired Brian and his bunch to renovate our home and we couldn't be happier. They remodeled our kitchen, replaced carpet and tile, and painted about half of our house. We asked for work to be done in a ridiculously short amount of time (ever seen House Crashers?) and they pulled it off. It was great having the showroom and design help so we could see all of our finish choices together in one place. And having one point of contact instead of dealing with each subcontractor separately was really nice. We're happy enough with the work that we're already talking about doing "Phase II". Wouldn't think twice about working them again.
