My husband and I are re-doing our lake house and we were in need of a kitchen designer. I got a referral for Jeannie and we are thrilled at the new kitchen design Jeannie did for us! She was so very wonderful to work with! She came out to our house and spent some time with us asking us questions about what we wanted, how we use our lake house, the number of guests we have, etc. She gave us a few options of things we could ponder until we decided on a plan. She was so easy to communicate with and had great suggestions of how we could arrange things to make the kitchen flow. I appreciated how accurate she was and how thoughtful she was with every detail. Her fee was very reasonable and worth every penny! We couldn't be happier with how our plan came together! If you need a designer that doesn't cause you more work but instead makes it easy and fun, hire Jeannie! She is a joy to work with and you will be so happy!!

Jeannie is absolutely the BEST! She has helped us with designing our laundry room, which we love! She was also incredibly helpful, finding the perfect tile for our kitchen backsplash. She truly goes the extra step in facilitating a project and easing the anxiety that comes with designing a new space.

We recently completed a five month long first floor remodel. We knew this would entail far bigger details than we had the capacity or knowledge to handle. As we did research on interior designers, it was important to find someone who is able to see beyond what we saw. I was drawn to JM Design because of her credentials. It showed me that we could trust her with creating a custom floor plan that would work best for our family. As we went through the process, I said many times how grateful I was to have her on the team. I would respond to many of the contractor emails with, "Ask Jeannie!" Because we fully trusted her with crucial decisions such as how far apart we wanted the island from the fridge, or the mudroom door to the laundry area. We knew she was the right fit for this project when she suggested we expand and move our kitchen window. That might sound silly, but it showed that she could see us living in that space, and knew that seemingly small change would create a huge impact upon completion. That it certainly did! She listened to our every wish and patiently walked through this project with us. BONUS: she was recommended by our contractor, KBC Construction. It was absolutely wonderful to have competent people working together so seamlessly. With their previous teamwork, we as homeowners didn't have to spend much time integrating an independent designer with our contractor. Hiring a designer for a project of this size more than paid for itself in the time and money we saved in the long run!

Jeannie is a true expert in Kitchen Design and we feel so fortunate to have worked with her on our total kitchen remodel. Jeannie is extremely organized, meticulous, and thorough. She was in constant communication with us, throughout every step of the process. She responded to each of our questions and provided valuable information to guide us in making our decisions. On our first meeting, Jeannie took the time to learn about us, our style, and our vision. She provided several detailed drawings with various layouts and options, which allowed us to choose the best fit and envision the final result. She connected us with and outstanding contractor crew, who we felt very comfortable having in our home, even when we were away. Jeannie also visited multiple times during the project to ensure the process was going smoothly and as planned. We are grateful to have our beautiful new kitchen, but the feeling is bittersweet because it means our time with Jeannie and her crew has ended. With that in mind, we will definitely utilize her skills in the future when we renovate our bathroom. The entire process, from start to finish was flawless. Working with Jeannie was an absolute pleasure and we highly recommend her.

We hired Jeannie Monroe to help us with remodeling our master bathroom. She came up with 3 or 4 design possibilities and then patiently worked with us to tweak the design until we were happy with it. She also managed the overall project with the contractor, making sure we had items such as tile, fixtures, vanity, etc. picked out and available for installation to ensure project got completed in a timely manner. Jeannie is very knowledgeable and has a great eye for design and decorating. My husband and I couldn't be more satisfied with how our bathroom turned out and with how Jeannie made the entire project go so smoothly.

My husband and I didn't know where to begin with our Kitchen/Dining Room renovation project. We had a gallery style Kitchen that was next to a Dining Room and we wanted to expand our Kitchen into our Dining Room but we didn't know how to lay it all out. Plus, I wanted to be able to fit an island into our space somehow as well (I have always wanted an island within the Kitchen). That's when we decided to bring on Jeannie Monroe for our project. She came up with several different concepts for us and really listened to our thoughts and how we wanted to use the space. My husband and I loved the final design and she was able to not only fit an island with five seats but also an additional seating area where two people could sit into the space as well! We also decided to use Jeannie when it came to cabinet, countertop and backsplash selections and she knocked it out of the park when it came to helping us figure out what would look great together. She actually found the backsplash that we now have in our finished space that goes PERFECTLY with our cabinets and countertop (and BOTH my husband and I loved). Being able to have her come over with different samples of cabinets to see which ones would coordinate with our floor and other selections was so helpful! I'm a very visual person so that really helped me to see how everything would look together. Our Kitchen/Dining Room renovation has been done for a few weeks now and we love how everything turned out :) I would highly recommend Jeannie!

Jeannie is a delight to work with. Working with her on the complete renovation of my kitchen, I felt confident from the moment I met her that the project would turn out just as I wanted it. And it did. Jeannie is a great listener. She drew up several plans after understanding my wish list, and was patient as I selected one and then changed to a second plan a week later. I thoroughly enjoyed the selection process, and was grateful for Jeannie’s suggestions and guidance throughout. She made sure I got the exact cupboard stain color I’d been dreaming of, and made sure flooring, backsplash, and countertops coordinated beautifully. Once the project was nearly complete, she made a quick visit to go over last minute finishing details. It was a great comfort having someone so knowledgeable to rely on throughout such a big project. If I ever take on another project, Jeannie will be the designer I call.

We truly enjoyed working with Jeannie. She took the time to really listen to our ideas and dreams for our kitchen and adjacent spaces - she was professional and not pushy. A couple of weeks after our first meeting, she presented us with three proposals - drafted drawings of floor plans, elevations and 3D renderings. This was huge - it was easy to decide what would work best for us. Jeannie then provided the names of 3 contractors she had worked with and recommended. Again, this was a big help. I really enjoyed working with Jeannie. She came up with wonderful custom designs for my kitchen cabinets and my new master bathroom walk-in shower, which I absolutely love. She was very helpful in guiding me on what to buy as I do not have any sort of eye for design. The contractors she worked with completed the job in a very timely fashion, and no re-work needed. The updates she designed raised my property value by over $100K.

What a wonderful job Jeannie did for our condo kitchen and bath renovation! We worked with her from out-of-state during Covid-19 lockdowns and Jeannie managed everything. She is a great listener and communicator! Jeannie coordinated with our builder and helped us to select everything in our condo from wood floor stain colors to wall colors. She was a snap at spotting possible problems in our kitchen design which was rather unique since it is a small space and we wanted hi-end but small speciality appliances. We had a great experience and appreciate her assistance and guidance. We love our whole space and rave about our kitchen.

Jeannie helped us with design ideas when we were renovating our kitchen. She was so nice to work with; very patient when I was trying to make up my mind about choices. She first tried to assess what our tastes were as well as letting us know what current trends were, and then made suggestions about paint color ideas, granite choices, and the many other choices that go in to remodeling a kitchen.
