I had a wonderful experience working with Judy on our bathroom remodel. Judy is extremely talented and wonderfully creative. She started by listening and understanding our needs and then created a beautiful and comfortable design scheme with detailed architectural drawings and unique solutions, including custom millwork. Judy also served as project manager and we were pleased with her attention to detail and meeting our deadline. I look forward to working with Judy on our next project!

Judy is a wonderful designer in every way. She has a keen and decisive aesthetic eye, but is flexible enough to always have a handful of ways of solving a problem. She thinks not only of how she wants a feature to look, but also about the carpentry, plumbing, and electrical plans that would be required to make it happen. She is cheerful and very pleasant to work with. She is fluent in Spanish, and can easily handle what are sometimes difficult conversations with contractors and with workers. We plan to hire JK Design again!

Judy patiently listened to my wife and I and came up with beautiful solutions we both loved! We bought a 1908 home that needed a big revamp to bring it into the new century and she nailed it. From the open kitchen / dining room to the reimagined master, we cannot wait to move in! Thanks Judy!

I found Judy & Marie through houzz and the reviews were right on! As soon as I met Judy, I knew she was the right fit for our kitchen project. At our initial meeting, she picked up on our style throughout the rest of our house and took it from there! I was so impressed with the designs that she presented us. Throughout the project Judy & Marie were very engaged and prompt with communication. They helped us keep the project on track and were a valuable resource when we came to a crossroads decision that needed to be made. Now that the project is complete, I can't put into words how happy I am with the outcome and how pleased I am with the work Judy & Marie did on this project. JK design provided the entire layout design for our new kitchen which is fabulous. The project was big because we removed two walls to create a wider kitchen attached to a family room. Judy knew how to create a modern kitchen space that fit beautifully in a traditional home. We also purchased the cabinets from her. The process was seamless. Judy was very helpful throughout the project, always providing valuable advice.

I knew Judy from a previous job and had seen her in action. Her style, decisiveness and ability to work within a budget convinced me that she was the right person for my kitchen remodel. At the same time, their integrity kept me from making short-sighted decisions based solely on price that I would regret in the long run. We hired JK Design to help us with a gut rehab on our new home. As complete newbies, we were in need of significant guidance. Judy and Marie walked us through step by step. We were impressed by their commitment and ability to ascertain our style and to choose products that would best complement our tastes throughout the house. We knew several people whose designers attempted to influence their choices to be more the personal preference of the designer rather than understand the owners' tastes and work within that style. Don't get me wrong. There was plenty of strong influencing on their part. However, it was always with an eye towards a consistent style and an end product that would be amazing. We also appreciated their commitment to staying within our budget and showing us only products consistent with that budget. Well, now the project is done and all our neighbors keep telling us they can not believe how fabulous our home is. More importantly, we love our home and how easy it is to live here. That might sound weird, but we are a crazy busy, two working parent home with two young boys. The fact that our home is both beautiful and livable is a dream come true. We could have never done it without Judy and Marie!

Judy Klein is amazing. Her knowledge of design, her follow up, and her project management are unmatched. Never once did we have to worry about Judy hitting a deadline or whether the work and worry was going to fall back on us. Judy was on top of everything. Because we had ten different, very unique design projects, it was important for us to work with a designer that had the skill and organizational abilities to bring them together. Judy designed kitchens in styles including postwar New York, high-end Contemporary, Tuscan, Cottage, Rustic, and Asian, all without missing a beat. We would recommend Judy to anyone looking for a designer who can bring a project together with professionalism and order. Other than her incredible skill level, she's also very personable and a wonderful collaborator.

JK Design helped me with my kitchen. They were very helpful picking out products, fixtures, etc. that fit within my budget but keeping in mind my taste. They were also very flexible with my family schedule as I have 3 little ones at home. The end result has improved the quality of life for my family and created a space where we can all be together whether it be for a meal, homework or art projects.

Judy and Marie are a great team! My husband and I were buying a new house and wanted to gut the kitchen and Judy and Marie helped us create the most beautiful space. They took what information we gave them on our likes/dislikes and presented us with a few options to choose from (I was pregnant with twins and didn't have the time or energy to try to do any of this on my own). They made everything very easy for us. Once we were settled in our house, we decided to use them again to help design our huge great room which we could not decide how to decorate. Without much direction from us, they were able to create a beautiful, practical space for our family. They are personable, lovely ladies who we have recommended to several close friends.
