We interviewed several cabinet designers before contracting with Kathi to remodel our awkward and dated kitchen. Kathi represents several cabinet companies so we had a wide variety to choose from. My husband was insistent that our kitchen be timeless and not follow the "over-used white shaker door bland style". Kathi worked with us to find cabinets that are timeless, functional and absolutely beautiful. Our kitchen went from a dated Tuscan design that lacked cabinet space to a dream kitchen that allows 3 people to seamlessly cook at the same time. Every morning when I walk into our new kitchen I think, "ahh, this is my dream kitchen!"

I tried to give Ms. Katherine Lynn at Juniper Ridge Designs the benefit of the doubt on numerous occasions but at the end of the day, I have never had such a terrible experience. The first time I called Kathy, she was frazzled to say the least. I explained to her my situation and my need for two custom cabinet doors beneath a new apron sink instal. She couldn’t meet for a month. Weeks later, an hour before our appointment I call to confirm. She is frustrated at the timing and would like to reschedule. Glad I called before I drove all the way over! I re-schedule. No biggie. After meeting with her and confirming the design and dimensions, she said she would get with WoodMode and get back to me with a quote. A few days later I get a voicemail with what was needed and the quote. Being out of my range I sat on this info for two months. Once I had the funds I called her, no answer. Over the course of two weeks I called her four times with voicemails. Nothing. So I contact WoodMode through their website informing them my local dealer wont respond. The very next day Kathy gets back to me for the first time furious. Apparently WoodMode contacted her wondering why she wouldn’t get back to me. It was only after this she finally calls me back. Very angrily she tells me to send the info over. I email her the info, after which she tells me to just work with WoodMode directly and gave me their email. I get the feeling if I needed an entire remodel I would have been treated differently.

I hired Juniper Ridge Design to remodel my kitchen and bath using the same footprint, but wanting more cupboard space and better function with a Country French theme. I now have an absolutely beautiful kitchen, butler's pantry and bathroom well designed to the last detail and very functional! Even though I was out of state at the time Kathi made it work and within budget. She knows her stuff down to the last centimeter and she made it a fun experience!

We have been consulting with Kathi Lynn of Juniper Ridge Designs for approximately two 1/2 years. She has been invaluable to us with the interior design of our home. She has been of great service in furniture selection, fabric selection and cabinet design. Her resources are excellent and have done outstanding work at a very fair price.. She worked hard to coordinate the things we already had and then added fresh pieces to bring our home up to date and unique. Kathi is a highly experienced professional who provided excellent advice and service during our downstairs renovation/remodel from our initial contact and throughout the entire cabinet design, appliance selection and kitchen installation process. This was a very large remodeling project that included a significant building addition to accommodate our dream kitchen plus an upgraded family room wet bar and powder room. Kathi was always extremely conscious of our budget, but did not cut any quality corners to help us achieve our goals. She worked closely with our construction team to help keep the project on cost and schedule and she worked to make the cabinet installation as seamless as possible. We are extremely happy with the final project outcome and love the look and functionality of our new living spaces. I wouid give Juniper Ridge Designs a higher rating if it was possible. I will be using JRD for our future master bath renovation.

She gave us options for different budgets and designed and gave us an incredible kitchen with functionality and style that we couldn’t have dreamed of. Our cabinets are of superior quality and the appliances have features that make cooking so much more of a joy. We plan on using Kathi to help us with our bathroom remodels later this year. Kathi was a pleasure to work with. Her kitchen design exhibited attention to detail, and the results proved it! especially the finish details, such as light rails and trim. Something you would never get with a big box store. I am very happy with the quality of the Brookhaven cabinets. Also, Kathi recommended the contractor, who was extremely professional and performed high quality work. Kathi is a perfectionist, and I will definitely work with her again.

Kathi helped me create a showplace in a Florida condo. Her furniture selections from Christopher Guy and Habersham and her ideas for lighting and floorcoverings were creative, practical, and thoughtful. Kathi is not a "cookie cutter" designer by any means and is willing to use her talents to create a custom space tailored to her client. I have worked with other designers who did not understand my style and provided a one-size-fits-all approach. Kathi is not only very talented but has the unusual ability to intuitively know what I like and will take the time to make sure it works.
