Kyle was great to work with for our kitchen remodel! He was quick to respond, come out and measure and drew up multiple designs for us to consider. From beginning to end of the project it went smoothly and we love our new kitchen! We will be working with him again when we’re ready to do the bathrooms!

Kyle was able to order my 48in. WOLF gas range. It is a dream come true! I absolutely love it! When the guys came to install it, They were kind, courteous, and informing. I even got and extra year on the warranty! I was amazed at how easy they made moving our old, huge, and very heavy range out of such a tight space, and moving the new one in look. I will be contacting KCK in the future, when we decide to upgrade our kitchen, also.

Our home was built in 1941 and we have lived here for the last 20+ years. A previous owner remodeled the kitchen/breakfast area a number of years before we purchased the house. The kitchen/breakfast area was functional but not very efficient and certainly not very attractive. Our dream was a complete makeover and it was for that makeover that we approached Daryl Ann at KCK&B. She was recommended to us by a trusted friend. Now, some months later, the makeover is done and we are ecstatic. We could not be more pleased. From the very start, the process was smooth and pleasant. Daryl Ann is not just an accomplished professional but a professional with excellent communication skills. She shared samples with us for countertops and the like that we took home to think about and to consider. When she visited at our home she was comfortable to be with and she had good ideas. She was a good listener and took into account our ideas. She showed us where things could be better than we thought they could be but she also incorporated some of our ideas. She works with a contractor, Bob Crandall, who we found immediately likable. We decided to stay with the combination of Daryl Ann planning and Bob installing. It was a great decision. Bob is an excellent problem solver and now that the job is over even small workarounds that our peculiar kitchen required came out looking perfect. Daryl Ann worked with us to negotiate an acceptable cost. She showed us options for things like cabinet doors and range hoods. We were able make choices that pleased us and that kept us on budget. The result is that we have a makeover that we can't imagine being any better. The dismantling, removal, and installation work was seamless. Bob does excellent work and considerate while he does his work. He is efficient and even did a few little extra things for us on the way. And then we thinking this experience could hardly be better, the final price tag came in under estimate. There is absolutely no question that when we start thinking about remodeling our bathrooms, we will be headed to Kalamazoo Custom Kitchen & Bath. They are the best!

In brief, we couldn't write enough superlatives to describe our experience with Daryl Ann and Kalamazoo Custom Kitchens & Baths. My wife and I started the entire process of planning the remodel in the summer of 2018. Our house is about thirty years old, and needed to be brought into the 21st century. We met with a few companies, and Daryl Ann best understood our vision for the project. We completely remodeled the kitchen and two bathrooms, as well as replaced carpet with hardwood floors, refinished the old hardwood, replaced all doors and trim, painted all three bedrooms and other improvements. Daryl Ann was very good about helping us understand what would work for our home, and providing much more than designs. She would help us narrow down choices, and guide us to the best decision possible. She was also very straightforward with us when necessary, and helped us to understand the whole process. Daryl Ann recommended Bob Crandall as our contractor, and it was the first of many excellent decisions. Bob was perfect for us, and helped coordinate everything throughout the remodel. Bob would essentially work one room at a time, and we were never without a functioning bathroom or kitchen. Daryl Ann also steered us to Richards Kitchen and Bath Showrooms where we worked with Debbie to pick out fixtures. Lakeside Surfaces provided the quartz countertops. Real Wood Floors tied in the new wood to the old and made it look perfect. Dave's Glass provided the shower doors. Remodeling or building is not for the faint of heart. Daryl Ann removed much of the stress from the situation, and we're very pleased with the results.

I was anxious about attempting a kitchen remodel. I had a small, quirky space (mostly corners!) to work with, and I’m a “scratch” cook who enjoys preparing a wide variety of dishes using an impossibly large collection of cookware and spices. And my remodel budget was tight. Daryl Ann and Bob were willing to take on our project, problem-solve our issues, and deliver a well- functioning kitchen that looks good enough to be my new happy place. Daryl Ann had an uncanny ability to understand what I needed in the new kitchen even before I realized it myself. She really listened to what I wanted and added her own expertise. Bob’s exacting, competent construction and installation took care with every detail. Both professionals take pride in what they do and are a joy to work with, even through a long, multi-week project. The result is a kitchen that feels tailored to suit us just right. I needn’t have worried.

KCK was very professional and helpful in helping us with our kitchen and laundry room remodel. They brought many ideas to the table and debated the pros and cons with us to come up with a great project with high quality cabinets at a price that met our budget. This also included adding a half bath vanity that turned out great! The follow-up was great and they were our advocate with the contractor that did the install. In 2008, we went back to KCK for our entertainment center in the family room. Again, we were very pleased with the results.

We had Kalamazoo Custom Kitchens do 3 kitchens for us over a 15 year period (our home, a family cottage, and a resort condo). The most recent was in 2014. Daryl Ann is a great kitchen designer! She is very creative and knowledgable about the use of space and how to create a kitchen that is functional, convenient, and attractive. She is much more than the "cabinet salesperson" you often encounter. We enjoyed working with her. She is always responsive and has many suggestions that wouldn't have occurred to us. The results have been kitchens that met our needs and exceeded our expectations. We love our kitchens!

Daryl Ann designed a wonderful entertainment unit and a window seat/cabinet unit for our new home. She was very patient through the design process and made sure everything was just right, straight through the installation process. The units are beautiful and will add lasting value to our home. Daryl Ann and her staff also designed a kitchen remodel for us in 1996. The kitchen had a very efficient layout that maximized work flow and storage in a relatively compact space. When we recently sold that home, the design still looked timeless and was a positive selling point for the home.

If you want an amazing kitchen, then you should work with Daryl Ann and Rachael. What I appreciated most about Daryl Ann and Rachael is that they LISTENED to what I wanted and then designed the perfect kitchen. They took care of all the details start to finish and were prompt in returning phone calls/emails. They were so pleasant and nice to work with, always enthusiastic and willing to help. I will never change my kitchen because I love it so much, but if I did, I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Twenty years ago Daryl Ann designed the Kitchen in our dream house and not only was it intelligently designed and beautiful, it stood the test of time. When we downsized into our lakefront condo, the first thing that we did was to hire Daryl Ann to design our new dream kitchen. She is extraordinarily attentive to detail, listening to our ideas and wish list and translating them into a work of beauty and functionality. She has a very good eye for shape, texture and color and having been in the business for over 35 years, she brings an ocean of experience and ideas to the table, not to mention impecable taste. When making choices on materials, colors, etc. my husband's first question was always: What does Daryl Ann think? She spent many hours on site during the design stage and was also there while the contractor installed the project, making sure everything was perfect. Bottom line: She always exceeds our expectations.

Daryl Ann drew up our kitchen and did a wonderful job for us. She is detailed and gets what you want and has many design suggestions for your space. She is easy to work with because she is client centered. We built a house about seven years ago and are still in love with the kitchen. I've also seen many other kitchens in this area that she has done and they are outstanding. Each enhances the home and reflect her clients lifestyle.
