Kate Byer Interior Design

When we were building our home, Kate designed our bathroom including the shower with tiles simulating waterfalls. She is very creative and responsive. A few years ago I contacted her for a special project and she helped me choose a rug that made the room. She knows how to bring all elements together.

Kate is a wonderful balance of professionalism and warmth. She was recommended by our contractor to help us with design for a bathroom remodel. Our contractor loves the fact that her renderings' measurements are so accurate that he can order cabinetry from them. I love the fact that, while her taste level and eye are highly developed (can I use "fabulous" here?), it is important that her client's spaces look like "them". She designs with you, not at you, and is an absolute pleasure to spend time with.

We were fortunate enough to have Kate design our remodel. She was amazing from beginning all the way thru the end of the project. She came to us with multiple design options for us to choose from and was always welcome to revisions or combining of one or more of the plans. Kate asked us questions about how we live, if we entertain and what our goals were for the remodel. This allowed her to understand who we are as her clients. WOW! The results are amazing. We are in love with our new spaces. She was always available for questions thru email, text or phone call and was willing to come to the house to discuss whatever we needed. Her eye for color cannot be matched. I told her what color tones and feel I was looking for and she came to the house prepared with many different color options and the results are AMAZING. Our house feels warm and light and bright. The design of our kitchen is both functional and beautiful. She thought of everything from where we will put the microwave to a creative way to have extra storage. I could not be happier! When I met Kate I had a lawn chair in my living room, a box for my TV stand and my Triathlon bike where the kitchen table should be. She has completely transformed my home (it's now a home and not a bachelor crash pad) into a wonderful place that I look forward to going after work and inviting friends to visit.
