One year ago, we were embarking on the exciting adventure of remodeling our kitchen. This proved to be more challenging of a project than we originally thought because there wasn’t much wiggle room to expand the space because we didn’t want to change the existing footprint of our home yet we wanted a new and modern kitchen. During our initial meeting with Tracy and Jeff, we knew they were extremely good at what they did. After assessing our current kitchen and space while listening to our needs/wish list for our dream kitchen for approximately 30 minutes, they presented us with three different options and drawings…at the first meeting! From that point on, we made many changes and Tracy diligently created new drawings until we agreed on a final design. Tracy is organized, smart, responsive and knows her business. It seems as if she works 24/7 and was always on top of our project. She is detail oriented and I felt that she wouldn’t let anything fall through the cracks and she did not disappoint. The construction started a few months later and we couldn’t be more pleased with Jeff, his crew and their subcontractors. They were knowledgeable, punctual, respectful, tidy and careful with our home. We left Jeff in charge of our home while we avoided the construction. Their subs are only people that they know and work with consistently so we felt our home was in good hands. No problem was too difficult for Jeff to solve. He and his crew work tirelessly to make sure everything is right and the way we wanted our kitchen to look. I could go on and on but I’ll spare you and leave you with this advice…if you have a home project, hire Kitchen Inspiration. Don’t waste any more time looking around. They are professionals and will get the job done on a timely basis. You will be overjoyed with the finished project.

We were very happy with the attention to detail that Jeff and his conscientious crew executed on our whole kitchen remodel. Tracy handled the administrative part and offered finish/material suggestions that turned out well. It was a slightly custom job and the end product was as we envisioned and functions perfectly for our needs. Having a construction manager who is willing to discuss unexpected complications in detail while suggesting cost effective, practical solutions with an eye for design, is priceless. The project was completed exactly on schedule and could have been done sooner if not for inspection scheduling. Three months after completion, Jeff came out to do a touch up without issue. This was an overall low stress remodel and I would recommend their services whole heartedly.

Working with Tracy and Jeff was fantastic! We just finished a complete remodel of our Kitchen and the entire process was smooth and professional, from design to installation. Tracy and Jeff were a dynamic duo that had my kitchen completed ahead of schedule. Tracy was great listener and designed a kitchen that captured the moody modern aesthetic I wanted with incredible functionality. All my appliances and cabinets were placed with ease of use in mind. Jeff was a problem solver with a keen eye for detail. The carpentry around the built-in appliances were impeccable and seamless. He also did an amazing job matching our unique hardwood floors. This talented team were also great communicators and I appreciated receiving a daily report from them on the progress of my kitchen. It was a pleasure working with them and it’s been a dream cooking in my new kitchen.

If I could give Tracy and Jeff (and their incredibly hard working and respectful team) 10 stars I would. I mean who LOVES their contractor!? I DO!! You hear the horror stories of delays, unreliability, unnecessary charges, all of it. You will find this team to be incredibly organized, efficient, realistic and trustworthy. Their creativity is incredible and their vision is truly an inspiration. They transformed my kitchen space into something beyond not only useful, it was kind of magic found space I didn't know I had and am so grateful. They came in on budget and way under the estimated time frame given some challenges we uncovered. We had rain delays, three major holidays and a horror show of a plumbing issue (unexpected) but were able to complete a total gut renovation, moving walls/structural stuff etc all in 7 weeks and 2 days. Under the 8-12 week timeline promised. They are true to their word, extremely respectful and know their business. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would have them renovate my whole house if I could. Hire them, you will not be sorry.

Our Kitchen and Bathroom cabinets are beautiful! We did a full remodel of 4 bathrooms and kitchen with a contemporary design and Tracy at Kitchen Inspiration helped us from beginning to end. She has a nice showroom with many examples of cabinet styles, colors, layouts, accessories and hardware. She listened to our concepts, designed each room, quick to respond, gave great recommendations and was patient with us throughout the process. She came to the house multiple times to measure, worked with both the contractor and Appliance company to ensure everything worked together. Our custom Sollera cabinets are high quality, fit perfectly, and look great. I would highly recommend Kitchen Inspirations.

She treats each project as if it were her own project. She is innovative and has great suggestions. Tracy is a great listener and has a knack for understanding what you are trying to achieve, and then gently sprinkles ideas for you to consider. She is a great facilitator in helping you arrive at your final decisions…and feeling good about those final decisions. We were very appreciative of Tracy being very clear whenever we were thinking about things that “wouldn’t work well.” Tracy is an unbelievable project manager, making things happen as quickly as they humanly can, paying attention to even the smallest of details. We are so incredibly thrilled and blown away with our new kitchen, we absolutly love it! From the very start, it has been an absolute pleasure working with Tracy and Jeff, our kitchen and family room have been beautifully transformed! We looked around at a bunch of contractors and ultimately found Kitchen Inspiration through Houzz. The reviews were incredible and for good reason. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen. Thank you very much to Tracy, Jeff and their entire crew. From the beginning, Tracy and Jeff provided great advice. They came to our house for our first meeting, absorbed our ideas and desires, gave us some good ideas, and then provided a design that brough it into focus. The attention to detail was evident from the start as Tracy and Jeff took accurate measurements during that first meeting. Tracy also provided thoughtful guidance in our follow-up design meetings. During construction, Jeff and his team setup the house great to protect areas from dust and allow us to live there. Throughout the few weeks, the team was very organized, Jeff provided good ideas on where to put fixtures and the overall setup, and the team set up cool new electric wiring for our kitchen, giving it a new vibrance. Jeff and Tracy both were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process, making a good team for everything - planning, making adjustments, execution of the project. As things came up day to day, Jeff was great in providing ideas and working with us on minor additions or changes. Lastly, the Sollera cabinets are extremely nice as well, feel really durable, and the design quality is solid. The overall job price was fair, and in line or lower with other quotes we received. Also, the change orders were fairly priced and limited. The whole team was great too - respectful, super nice, and ahead of schedule in the end. We enjoyed having them all around. Our kitchen is transformed. Spectacular job Kitchen Inspiration Team!

I am so glad that I read the Houzz reviews, and decided to work with Tracy and Jeff from Kitchen Inspiration. I have my dream kitchen, it is like they plucked it from my brain and here it is now in reality. From start to finish, they were easy to work with, responsive, and it was always clear that they take pride in their work and want to make the customer (me) happy. From the custom backsplash I saw online and had to have, to custom pantry shelving, if I brought them an idea I wanted they found a way to make it happen. And to the wonder of all of my friends who have had remodels done themselves, they did it in the lower end of the timeframe they quoted, even with a few change orders we decided on during the process, which really should have added time. We have had a few things come up since the remodel that needed attention, and they are quick to respond and fix any issues. I couldn't be happier with our choice of a design/build team, or our new kitchen.

We found Kitchen Inspirations online after visiting many kitchen showrooms and being disappointed by the quality of the cabinets and salesmanship. Tracy is so easy to talk to, very responsive and has wealth of knowledge concerning kitchen design. During the pandemic, Tracy’s suggestion to order the cabinets in 2020 was well taken, because prices skyrocketed in 2021. The quality and pricing of the Sollera cabinets impressed us. Our carpenters were impressed by the quality too and that says a lot. Tracy’s attention to detail shows when it comes to cabinet measurements and on the day of arrival, she is there checking off each numbered piece. All deliveries were on time and everything intact. We are so happy with our new kitchen, it’s gorgeous! This is well overdue. Tracey, Jeff and their whole team were spectacular. They remodeled two of our bathrooms, and I am so happy with the end product. They were professional, timely, honest, accommodating, and quick (to respond and with the work without sacrificing detail). I’m definitely using them in the future for any other projects I have. This was my first remodel and they made the experience very seamless and I loved the outcome. They take pride in their work and the attention to detail is bar none. Highly recommend!! During pandemic, in November 2019, I was in somewhat desperate search of a good kitchen cabinet designer while renovating our house. After interviewing couple of designers and builders, I came across Tracy Yan's Kitchen Inspiration portfolio as well as reviews through Houzz, so decided to contact her and see what she could provide. Tracy welcomed me to her office and sat down, listened to my husband and my needs "very" patiently, started cabinet drawing through her computer screen, showed me what can be potential design right there and then; that was first initial meeting, which impressed me more than anything. And after hours, days of meetings, exchanging emails and texts, she finally came up designing my family's dream kitchen. I really felt treated like VIP - she was always there to answer to questions. She even provided her thoughts, suggestions on kitchen appliances, backsplash, plumbing fixtures, lightings, bathroom cabinet design, even shower door recommendation, etc. On cabinet delivery day, Tracy was at our house when cabinets were delivered to make sure every single part was arrived as planned. She also has an amazing team members; Jeff and Vinson who helped out fine tuning very little details of cabinet installation! They worked tirelessly till late hours and knew how to be there for customers. I can't say thank you enough to Tracy, Jeff and Vinson. What an amazing team and customer care! Thank you for helping us every step of the way during the most stressful time of our life but making the experience superior!

We hired Tracy to design our kitchen cabinets. She came highly recommended and deserves very bit of it. She was always very professional and prompt. Her attention to detail is what you want when remodeling a kitchen. She took very precise measurements of every inch of the kitchen and created a 3D blue print of the whole kitchen. She also advised us on the color scheme of the cabinets and the hardware. We had initially been to places like Sincere Home Decor and Liberty Cabinets in SSF (on advise of our Contractor) and surprisingly they were charging us $20K+ for their crappy standard cabinets. They also remotely designed our kitchen with inaccurate measurements. Tracy designed high quality custom cabinets at the same price. She came to talk to the contractor and go over the design and later again during delivery of the cabinets. She was there to inspect the cabinets, which were packaged very nicely. The cabinets were very precisely numbered which saved the contractor a lot of time. The cabinets are made of a very high quantity wood and also have a great finish. She also had a map of the cabinet location, fillers and panels. Tracy is extremely diligent, professional and efficient! Highly recommend her.

I originally contacted Tracy to do “a little upgrading” to my kitchen and to add hardwood floors to my dining room. After consulting with Tracy, I realized my “little upgrade” would not suffice as she had so many good ideas. After consulting with Tracy and Jeff (contractor), I decided to to remodel my kitchen, family room, living room and dining room. I had some ideas of what I wanted and Tracy incorporated my ideas into her designs. Tracy assisted me in choosing the kitchen appliances, tile for the kitchen and family room, the electric fireplace, etc. Tracy said the project would take 2 months to complete (started in Sept 2020 and completion in Nov 2020). Once the construction started, Jeff and his team moved like a well oiled machine. They moved all the furniture into the garage and then began deconstructing my kitchen, family room, and living room. I would check on their progress weekly and was amazed how quickly the remodel was occurring. The plans Tracy drew up on paper was coming into fruition and it was more impressive seeing it in person than seeing it on paper. Anytime I had questions, I would either text or call Tracy and/or Jeff and they would get back to me ASAP. The project was completed in 7 weeks, 1 week earlier than projected. So many people warned me that remodels will take longer than projected and expect it to take 3-4 months to complete. I was so pleased that Tracy and Jeff were true to their word and actually completed the remodel early. I would highly recommend Tracy and Jeff to anyone considering a kitchen remodel. In fact my sister was so impressed with them that she hired Tracy to remodel her house in Atherton.. Another friend contacted Tracy to remodel her house also.

We found Kitchen Inspiration from a friend's recommendation and they were absolutely amazing to work with. They helped us plan, design, and remodel our home we purchased in 2020. We told Tracy (designer) and Jeff (contractor) what we envisioned for our remodeling. They came up with a proposal and were able to make adjustments to hit our budget. There's too many good things I can say about Kitchen Inspiration, but I'll keep it short and talk about things that matter the most: * Professional: Tracy is a great project manager who guided us for literally everything: what are phases, when to prepare what, material recommendation, planning, execution, progress tracking, etc. Tracy and Jeff always find a good balance of what we want vs what's practical. * Execution time: Our project was postponed because of COVID-19 when everything was shutdown around March. They informed us to start around June when they are confident the project can finish in time. Our original planned time is 12 weeks. Guess what, if it is not delayed by the city permit for a week or two, they could have finished the project in 8 weeks! The team only work in business hours and cleaned the work site every single day. Our place is a condo and all of our neighbors told us they are the best contractor ever met. * No hidden cost: The estimation of the labor cost is very accurate. Tracy always discuss with us if any change needed (or recommended). They not just want to get the job done, but want our place in great shape in the long run. * Great outcome: I visited the site often and see how things change over time. If they break things, they will fix them. They will "redo" anything until we are satisfied. They also come and fix anything after the project is completed. Jeff has a great team and they are proud of every project they completed.

Tracy goes above and beyond our expectations to help us order and deliver our kitchen cabinets. The cabinets are very nice and with her help, it was a seamless process. I had no worries when I worked with Tracy because she is super thorough and organized (unlike some other places that i worked with to order linen cabinets - we would have gone to Tracy but our timeline for the bathroom did not allow it). She also helps us with many other aspects of our renovation, even though we did not have her do design build. When we had some trouble installing the cabinet, Jeff and Tracy came, explaining how it works and Jeff basically took the tools and worked on it for us right away. I feel fortunate to have worked with them in our first renovation ever! I highly recommend Kitchen Inspiration to all of my friends who are looking to renovate their houses. If i were to do another project like renovating our master bedroom and bathroom, i will come to Tracy and Jeff. They are THAT good.

We looked at many different places for our new kitchen cabinets, and we can’t be more happier than the Sollera cabinets from Kitchen Inspiration. We worked with Candy to design our layout. She was patient and went through with us on many options that we can do. Her expertise really shows on where we can do minor modifications to our kitchen configuration to make everything “fit” better. We changed our minds many times, like most homeowners do on tackling design issues, but she was able to make the changes quickly and accurately. Along with Tracy, we received various suggestions for our installer (we have our own installer) to make the cabinet install a breeze. The Sollera cabinets are high quality at reasonable prices. We chose cloud white for kitchen and hazelnut stain in nook area. The paint is uniform in color and shine is just right. For our pantry, we used hazelnut finish on cherry. The finish is superb. I have already received many compliments on it. We also had the countertop done thru Kitchen Inspiration. The crew did an amazing job. Candy and Tracy were on-site to ensure that it was installed according to spec. I will definitely go back to them for our next project. They are easy to work with and quick to respond with all the questions I had. Their excellent customer service takes the worries out of any remodel.

We did not expect the final result to be so amazing. Candy and Tracy led us through the design process from start to finish. It was a complete white glove experience. We had a rough idea of what we wanted to do in terms of adding an island and enlarging out the kitchen space. They were able to step in with their expertise and distill our ideas into a design that truly modernized our kitchen space. With their guidance we flipped the island 90 degrees, knocked down the cabinets separating the dining room and kitchen to create an open concept space that was much more modern and updated. Tracy followed through on every single action item, ensured everything was ordered and that all of our upgraded items (lamps, backslash, counters, wall paint) worked together in one cohesive design. She really took the guess work out, got measurements, came every week to check on the project progress, making regular check ins with our contractor. The color palette was her recommendation as well. We appreciated that she followed up on the color choice the day after to see it live and make sure we felt comfortable with the choice. She was a hands on project manager and detail orientated to boot. Our contractor. Jeff, was also a preferred partner with Kitchen Inspiration. Jeff and his crew were so pleasant and professional. They kept a prompt daily schedule (10-7:30pm). We appreciated the consistency. As well, at the end of a day of construction, they cleaned up the debris and kept the construction zone as tidy as possible. We didn't think a home upgrade project could go so smoothly - but the Kitchen Inspiration team definitely delivered above and beyond our expectations. Thank you!

Kitchen Inspirations made my dreams come true! I own a small two-bedroom townhouse and have worked to renovate the entire home over three years. The kitchen was the last piece of that three-year project. I appreciated that they are a design/build firm. Tracy knows her design stuff and offered solid suggestions when I was unsure about how to proceed or what materials to use. When I was shopping for materials, Tracy was available by text and responded to my questions instantly when I was in a store and needed answers right away. Jeff runs a tight ship and has worked hard to build a loyal and dedicated team of construction professionals. They were more than willing to work around another specialty contractor I hired to polish my concrete sub floors. Afterwards, they went above and beyond to make sure my new floors were protected while they continued to work on the rest of the kitchen. I work from home and was concerned about how that would play out. They were extremely respectful of me and my space. Every effort was made to make sure I was comfortable and had a clean and dust-free space to do my work. They even worked around some unreasonable noise complaints from a grumpy neighbor! I was incredibly impressed with the team and their work ethic. They were all business from the moment they entered my house each morning to the moment they cleaned up and left for the day, often working beyond quitting time. Because Jeff and Tracy are meticulous about planning each project, the job went smoothly and on time. There was one mistake about the wrong materials ordered; but to their credit, they owned the mistake and made it right without question. They are incredibly professional and take pride in their work. Tracy and her crew were amazing! During the planning phase (i.e. the months leading up to construction phase), 3D graphic renderings were created, every detail was discussed in an organized fashion, and every question answered. During the construction phase, every concern was promptly addressed, and the construction crew which works with Kitchen Inspiration was prompt, polite, professional, accommodating, and detail oriented. The icing on the cake was how quickly the construction was completed: demolition of our old kitchen began on October 2nd, and final paint touch-ups in our new kitchen happened on November 27th (8 weeks from demolition to completion). The full project included removal of a wall, engineering and foundation work, electrical work, refinishing wood flooring, plus custom creation of a beautiful decorative fireplace mantle. I used Kitchen Inspiration for my bathroom project and I’m so impressed by them. Tracy and her team is so professional and her design sense is unparalleled. I walked in not expecting much, but in the end I fell in love with my new master bathroom and it’s entirely functional now. It appear small and cramped before- but the sleek lines now shout modern and sofisticated. Now I need to use Kitchen inspiration for my kitchen project and redo the mistakes I made trying to design a kitchen on my own 10 years ago.

We selected kitchen inspiration for our home renovation and have had nothing but problems with the cabinets. They are beautiful white cabinets, which many folks admire and ask who made them. We choose a touch-latch system to open with a modern EU design; which is completely non-functional. Kitchen Inspiration assured us the system worked and would add a sleek element to our design. However, either the cabinets open easily or they don't open at all. The folks at Kitchen Inspiration once tried to fix it and refused never calling back or responding. They DO NOT respond and help address any issues. DO NOT use them!

Our bathroom remodel was the second job Tracy and Jeff have done for us. Our kitchen was the first. I couldn't ask for a better team to complete our remodels in our condo. Our friends have used this team after seeing our completed projects and hearing about the professionalism and trust we have in this company. Tracy is excellent to work with and she was able to draw designs that both my husband and I could agree on. We like different styles but she was able to blend both of our wants together so we would both be happy. Jeff, the project manager, and his team did an amazing job on the construction. We came home one night to find Jeff telling his team to re-caulk our shower window because it was not perfect or to his standard of excellence. ( I would not have known the difference, but you receive excellence when you use this company.) Every night they spent 45 minutes vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning up. We were grateful for this as we were living in the condo during the renovation. We have a very STRICT home owners association (HOA) that wants/needs approval for ANY changes made within your condo. Jeff and Tracy worked with the HOA's demands. In fact, Tracy found and copied Daly City's renovation codes to our HOA which allowed us to complete the project the way we wanted it. We were so thankful to work with Tracy and Jeff knowing that they wanted to provide us with the best service and product possible. We will be contracting them again to remodel our guest bathroom soon.

We had an excellent experience with Kitchen Inspiration. Our designer, Candy, listened carefully to our needs, and developed a remodeling plan that provided the space and flow that we were seeking. Tracy, the lead designer and project manager, provided many suggestions on materials and vendors. She also provided timely and accurate communications from start to finish during the project. The construction foreman, Jeff, and his crew are all craftsmen with great attention to detail. Plus, if you have to share your house with a construction team for a couple of months, these are the folks that you want: polite, professional and tidy. Highly recommended! We met with several kitchen cabinet specialists and we made the right decision to go with Kitchen Inspiration. We worked with Candy who was a valuable partner in our design and decision making process. We came in with our desired kitchen design configuration and measurement including the kitchen appliances we chose and our organizational needs. We also reviewed cabinetry options with her including handleless cabinets. Candy proposed Crystal cabinets for the modern look we wanted and provided us with a quote. We then worked on fine-tuning the design with Candy. We liked that she not only listens to our ideas and requests but also ask questions, shares her thoughts and provides alternative suggestions if she had concerns. She knew the look we were going for and made sure each detail was in line with the design. Planning for specific drawer and cabinets organizers was a lot of work and when we needed to make changes or had questions, Candy was very prompt with her responses. As we got closer to the order date, we had more changes, even changing our refrigerator model at the last minute. We appreciated her patience. The cabinets arrived in good condition with no damage during shipping. After installation, we had some concerns and Candy arranged for a representative from Crystal Cabinets to come and walk through the kitchen with us. They were responsive and we are happy with the cabinets. One thing we would suggest is to order a sample door if there is no sample available so that you know what the cabinets will look like. We love working in our new kitchen now. We are so pleased with KI and Candy, and Crystal Cabinets that we've decided to get them to build us cabinets for another room in the house.

Kitchen Inspiration is awesome! We have researched extensively for our house remodeling and so glad to have found them. All the staffs are very professional and knowledgeable. Our designer, Candy, is young lady with a good sense in design. She listened to our needs and helped us throughout the whole process. We had numerous changes in our design, but she was very patient and made us feel nothing but welcome. She even gave us advices non related to kitchen cabinets, such as appliances, flooring, and even lighting. House remodeling was so stressful but every turned out great! We were able to get things we like within our budget. If we would do another remodeling 10 years later, we would go back to Candy!

Tracy at Kitchen Inspiration is wonderful! She helped us selecting and designing wonderful kitchen and bathroom cabinets. She was very involved throughout the process to make sure that everything would be perfect, and it turned out that way. One of the custom cabinet pieces was slightly too big, and Tracy got us quickly a replacement with the correct size. Excellent customer service, excellent follow-up, perfect professionalism and a very pleasant team to work with! We highly recommend them if you need new cabinets!

Tracy and Jeff are terrific. From design, to execution, to following up after the projects were finished, all of the work they do with their crew is very high quality. They return calls promptly, give quick estimates, are very timely and neat, and considerate of keeping doors closed (we have pets) and the house safe. They never make promises they can’t keep. I’ve used them on about ten projects, including a complete kitchen remodel and will never use anyone else.

I can’t say enough good things about Tracy and her team at Kitchen Inspiration. Don’t be misled by the name of the company; they do far more than just kitchens. Tracy and Jeff, her general contractor, are fantastic to work with. I hired them to remodel my kitchen and two bathrooms, plus update lighting and flooring throughout my Brittan Heights condo. Many contractors won’t touch a condo, but Tracy and Jeff were 100% willing. My neighbors never complained during the entire project. Tracy quickly understood my style, even though I didn’t have a strong sense of what I needed. She knew when to encourage me to consider different options and when to hold back. I never got the sense that she was trying to upsell me on anything. Multiple times she told me that some more expensive features I was considering were not worth the money. And she helped me save on cost whenever possible, for example urging me to choose a remnant for my rather small bathroom countertops rather than purchasing an entire slab. She went with me in countless visits to look at tile, countertops, and flooring. She was extraordinarily patient. Jeff has an amazing eye for detail and quality construction. He and his crew kept the workspace incredibly neat and tidy. He always went the extra mile to get everything just right. He also has a strong eye for design and materials selection. You can tell he delights in seeing satisfied clients. If I had another project I would hire them in a heartbeat.

This was our first kitchen remodeling and we loved working with Kitchen Inspiration, especially Tracy, Jeff and Debbie. We ordered our cabinets through them and used their team of contractors for the remodeling. TL;DR great attention to detail for both their designers and contractors. At first we didn’t know where to start, so we visited cabinet designers from all the big names like H Depot and L’s before deciding to give local designers a try. Of the local ones, Kitchen Inspiration’s show room was the only one that had the quality we were looking for. E.g. simple details like the cabinet doors were aligned properly. Their price point was comparable with others so we went with them. Cabinets The cabinets quality were good: plywood, dovetailed drawers etc. One thing we noticed though was the manufacturer doesn't have as many "fancy" features like toe kick drawers that the big name brands had, but we didn't mind that. Design Debbie was our kitchen designer and she was very friendly and excited to work with us. She came up with an initial design, which was great because we didn't know what we wanted at first. Then we worked closely to iterate from there. Along the way, we realized that we were pretty detail oriented and we asked about each little detail of the design. Debbie was very patient in answering our questions and we learned a lot. She was also very professional by not imposing her opinions/preferences onto us. Instead she tried to figure out what our preferences were. Yet she would give us her honest opinion when we asked throughout the design process and that was very helpful. While we mainly worked with Debbie, Tracy was involved in the design as well. We know this because a couple of times Debbie relayed design suggestions from Tracy and they were always good ideas. E.g. using 18" wide wall cabinets instead of 16" because they fit and they cost the same. She's also a great person to bounce ideas/questions off of. Contractor We had the option of choosing other contractors, but after interviewing a few, we went with Kitchen Designer’s contractor team led by Jeff. We felt that they were the most thorough with inspecting the house during the bidding process. E.g. they were the only one to point out that a pocket door wall had to be rebuilt in order to hang wall cabinets on it, no one else saw or mentioned that. Jeff was very communicative from Day 1, and made sure we knew what they were working on each day and the next. Jeff and his team were also very consistent in terms of showing up to work on the renovation pretty much every day. We’ve heard horror stories from friends about how their overbooked contractors "ghosted" on them. Thankfully we didn’t experience any of that. Jeff and his team also went above and beyond to take care of our fur babies (two cats) during the project. There were a few days when we were out of town, and Jeff would send us daily photos of them to reassure us that there weren’t any runaways while they worked. This is on top of sealing up certain rooms so the cats stay where they’re supposed to be. Overall, we highly recommend Kitchen Inspiration if you are considering remodeling your kitchen.

Tracy and Jeff are amazing. Tracy sketched a kitchen design for me within 20 minutes of seeing my kitchen and listening to what I wanted. A week later I had the final plans and they were amazing. Tracy is highly knowledgeable, efficient, and patient. Jeff oversaw the whole project. It felt like he became a member of our family and took care of every concern and question I had. Even my dog fell in love with him. He is extremely detailed and conscientious and a real professional.

Working with Tracy and Jeff was the best experience. The level of detail and communication was Amazing thru the entire process. They delivered what they has promised and went above and beyond and here is why. The level of communication started from the get go in the design phase of the project. Tracy drew up several potential plans which we talked thru to see what was the best fit for what we wanted. Her ability to suggest what would work in regards to fixtures was spot which at the end made the space look bigger than the original foot print. In addition she referred us to various vendors to pick and choose the fixtures and tile which is a great resource. The construction crewed managed by Jeff was "Outstanding" for the following reasons. His level of attention to detail is what sets him apart from others that I've worked with in the past and here is why. My family and I had to live in the space during construction and making sure that the living areas needed to be clean and dust free. Jeff's crew covered all the entryway with heavy duty plastic and the hardwood floors covered in heavy 3M barrier. At the end of each work day his crew spent a good 30-45 min to clean up to make sure that the hall way and walls where clean. The layout and pattern of the tile makes it look continuous to the eye which in turn makes the space look larger. The grout was done in such a manner that it had clean "Sharp" lines vs just applied via "finger". Of course all construction jobs are never the same and issues pop up all the time. This is what I call "The Game Changer" in the experience with these folks. They communicated the issues and came up with solutions that would actually make it better and work without impacting the budget a great deal. Here is an example. The sink plumbing had to be reworked and was out of the original scope. They explained it in general terms I could understand and provided several options. At the end I wanted a company that treated my home as if it was their own with ideas, done right, and last for many decades to come. Kitchen Inspiration is the real deal that will provide you with that level of experience.

Tracy, Jeff and Candy did an awesome job of transforming my kitchen and bathroom. They made this process as smooth as possible and they completed the entire project sooner than the original timeline! It turned out wonderful and we all fall in love with our new kitchen and bathroom!! The communication between the Kitchen Inspiration team was prompt and they guide me through the entire process and gave excellent recommendations! These guys don’t cut corners!! They don’t care if it takes more time and effort and all they care about is we are able to enjoy the end product. Can’t ask for more from these guys! They nailed it!

Tracy, Jeff, and Candy did a fantastic job renovating the bathroom of a 90+ year old house in the Berkeley Hills. Their high quality work, attention to details, and excellent communication made them easy to work with. It was the perfect balance of listening to what we wanted, but also not being afraid to tell us if something wasn't such a good idea and why. They started the project early and finished up in time for us to move in, leaving the place incredibly clean. We had just had the wood floors refinished, and they covered them all and left them in perfect condition. This was a difficult project in that all construction and demolition materials had to be carried up and down 72 steps by hand to the house up on a hill. We highly recommend them and will use them again for a future kitchen remodel.

My wife and I have wanted to remodel our kitchen, dining room and guest powder room for last two years. The initial design was as an open concept kitchen and living room. Unfortunately, we could not pursue the open concept looks due to our townhome structure restriction. Debbie was able to present us another stunning design within a few days. My wife and I have no hesitation in recommending the whole spectrum of services provided by Kitchen Inspiration in remodeling our kitchen, and assisting in the remodeling of our guest bathroom. Our prime designer, Luciana Sequeira, was very creative in designing a new kitchen and dining area for our Palo Alto townhouse that optimized the available space in a much better way than we could have imagined on our own. In addition, although the scope of remodeling of our guest bathroom primarily involved the cabinetry, her suggestion for installing a barn door for this fairly small space is a good example of a simple recommendation that had a big impact. As remodeling novices, my wife and I truly "didn't know what we didn't know." Tracy Jiang's design and construction experience was also an invaluable resource, and complemented the primary role played by Luciana very effectively. Both Tracy and Luciana were always very timely in responding to any follow up questions we had, and whether the communication involved in-person meetings, emails, phone calls and text messages, my wife and I were made to feel that our business was appreciated and that our satisfaction with their services was very important to them. Our thanks and appreciation also go to Jeff Lee. Although he wasn't involved in the construction phase of our project, Jeff was very willing and skilled in assisting with some post-implementation adjustments of the kitchen and kitchen Island cabinetry.

Do you have PTSD from your last remodel experience or have friends who are still recovering from their remodel? The last time we remodeled prior to engaging Tracy and team was 15 years ago. The experience was so horrible (the usual: late delivery, nickel/dime-d every bit, stopped work), we were unable to bring ourselves to take on another remodel till our dining room lights went out and we really needed work done in the house. Thanks to Houzz, we found Kitchen Inspiration and hired the team to remodel our kitchen, two bathrooms, and dining room. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways... 1) Communications: Tracy (designer), Tze (project manager), and Jeff (on-site foreman) are responsive and prompt in communications, from day 1 through months after the project has completed. I was super impressed in how these three partner; anytime we shared a question or issue with one, the other two know pretty much instantaneously and one of them would address. 2) Teamwork: ....which brings me to my next point about how well they work together. We all have heard horror stories how designer and contractor with opposing opinions/advices, creating headaches for the homeowner. No such thing with this team. They respect and defer to each other for each's specialty, an amazing team with one voice. During a remodel where many decisions need to be made everyday, having aligned guidance from the team is crucial for one's sanity! 3) Integrity/professional: This team does what's right for the customer, even if it means more work for them. A few stories... ---- After our guest bath was painted, Tracy stopped by to see the results. She found the color a bit off from her vision, selected another color with us, and got the space repainted the same day! ---- We purchased Miele appliances for the remodel and Miele requires their appliances to be installed by Miele directly. To be sure outlets and plumbing will work for the appliances installation, Jeff had not only taken extra care to double/triple-check the connecting points, he and his team were on site for the day of installation. Turned out Miele needed plenty of help: from Jeff's team providing them a drill that's strong enough for our tiles, to providing materials/making a custom pipe for the hood, and finally manipulating wiring to fit between the induction stove and convection oven. Miele installers remarked we had an awesome contract team; we could not agree more! ---- After the project completed (and last invoice paid!), we found a chip at the top of the custom shower door. Tracy responded right away, Jeff got in touch and had a replacement order placed. A week later, the chipped glass was replaced. These guys take their warranty seriously! 4) On-time/budget delivery: The team estimated work would begin mid Jan, and complete within 12-14 weeks. They started on 1/18/2017, largely completed by end of March (10 weeks), with one last piece (custom shower door) installed early April. And this was with three change orders! Amongst the three change orders, one was due to unanticipated structural work uncovered until opening up the drop ceiling; the other two were entirely new scope we adde on. Overall, we are extremely happy with our experience with Tracy, Tze, Jeff, and team. They are a joy to work with and a team who truly takes pride in their work. Tracy and Debbie are top notch professionals. Debbie was very helpful in designing my new kitchen, powder room and mudroom cabinets. I had a small kitchen area and wanted to open up the space to a formal dining room. Debbie spent a lot of time with me and we went through three different designs before settling on one. The kitchen looks so much bigger and much more functional. They are very efficient and there were no issues with delivery of products and timing.

It took a year to finish our house remodeling but I must say that it was a great pleasure working with Tracy! I had the kitchen cabinets, 2 and half bathroom cabinets, Laundry room cabinets, Entry/ window seat cabinets and the countertops. Tracy is truly professional and very responsive to emails or any kinds of communication. She suggested several other options to try to meet our budget. You can totally feel that she does care about the customer's project! When we installed the Kitchen cabinets, we happened to be abroad for vacation but Tracy visited our jobsite twice to help our contractor making sure that everything is installed in the right way. She completely changed the layout of our old peninsula kitchen to be a lot more open and spacious while having more storage space. Working with Tracy and her design/build firm is delightful. Tracy has a positive and open approach to design and will work with you to develop a design that is both beautiful and functional. She has a great sense of space and color and helped us use color tastefully in our recent kitchen remodel. When something small went wrong (as something always does in construction), Tracy responded immediately and gave us options to fix it. Tracy is an awesome kitchen designer. We recently remodeled our house and were referred to Tracy by our architect. She met up with us and walked us through various design constraints, budget constraints and timing constraints with impeccable knowledge and passion. What I particularly liked about her is that she is easy to work with and is very professional. She is straight forward and would tell us no when she doesn't have an answer to our questions (just like most homeowners in a major remodeling project, we seemed to have an infinite amount of questions), and would go and do her research to find us an answer. Her prices are competitive, her time estimates are right on, and there is no hidden cost. She cares a lot about her work and is a delight to work with!

Kitchen Inspiration did a very good job designing the kitchen, especially given the small space available. They recommended and worked with a very good general contractor. The work was done on the schedule provided us at the start of the project, except for the backsplash being on back order and thus delayed in installation. Kitchen Inspiration did a good job overseeing the quality of the work of any contractors, pointing out a couple of times work that needed to be corrected. The coordination with the contractors was generally good, though occasional minor miscommunication between them occurred.

Jeannie Dinkel provided us with amazing design and options for our garage storage and laundry room project. She worked well and communicated effectively with our contractor and was able to foresee certain issues that may have involved and caused potential set backs and costs prior to the beginnings of sections started. What sets her apart from other designers I have worked with is that she saw my vision and if applicable offered options and reworks quickly to meet my desired outcome. We use our garage space as an overflow area when family and friends gather...it is that much of a warm and welcoming space. I will hire Jeannie over and over again.

I'd like to give more than 5 stars. We purchased an eichler house this spring. During renovation, we met many unexpected situation. We were very frustrated because we couldn't find the solution easily. However we has no problem about kitchen. We ordered kitchen and bathroom caninets Tracy is very experienced even though she is the expert about eichler house. She gave many advice to us (we are very novice about renovation,) and very responsible about her work. We also ordered all the faucet, sink and medicine cabinets for kitchen and bath. She is very reliable. We are very satisfied with it, If I renovate another home, I will definitely work with Tracy. Trust the yelp and houzz reviews. When we contracted the company has good reviews, we were happy. When we didn't check the review, we had to redo the job. I am still happy that we worked with Tracy.

When we met Tracy we had a vision in mind. We knew what we wanted. She brought her design expertise and practicality sense. She is a very good listener and took the time to hear our needs. Aesthetically, we couldn't be more pleased with our kitchen. I can't say enough wonderful things about Tracy at Kitchen Inspiration Inc. Tracy came up with an outstanding design for our kitchen, living room fireplace area and family room bookshelves. She took our tiny galley kitchen and completely opened the entire area up and now we have a beautiful open concept functional kitchen with a huge peninsula and tons of counter space.
