After meeting with and reviewing plans from four of the top kitchen remodelers in Kansas City, we chose Kleweno. Cherie Brown was our designer. Cherie and Kleweno were the only company that had original ideas for our kitchen and listened to our needs. Ultimately, they delivered a beautifully planned kitchen using superior products. The project planning took several weeks with tweaks to the original sketches as we decided on the best plan for our home. Once the plans were firm, all components were ordered. Our contractor (John Hobbs Construction) did not start the tear out of the old kitchen until all components were delivered and ready to go. That meant only a six-seven week project from tear out to cooking in the new kitchen. Kleweno installed the cabinets and we were very impressed with the workmanship of the install. The cabinets fit perfectly. We had only one minor hiccup when one side was the wrong size. Kleweno fixed this quickly and stayed with the project to ensure we had exactly what we needed and wanted though payment had already been rendered. This project was a complete kitchen remodel with all walls and ceiling coming out, appliance and plumbing moves, new appliances, and electrical changes. The result is beautiful. We would use Cherie and Kleweno again in a heartbeat.

Finished our basement entertainment area, bar, workout space and bathroom. Excellent cabinetry. Unique design, sensitive to our style and budget. Beautiful results. Genevieve was a pleasure to work with.

I had my kitchen updated by replacing counter tops, sinks, stove top and central island cooking counter. I also had the floors refinished, the undercabinet lights replaced, and the linoleum in the laundry replaced.

I love my new kitchen and Kleweno was great to work with. Great attention to detail and their designers had good insight into what works for the customer. My only complaint would be that it took longer than I had anticipated. But the finished product is beautiful and very well done.

As an Interior Designer I have worked with numerous Kitchen Designers but I always find it a Pleasure to work with Randy Sisk, he is thorough,,articulate and excellent follw through. He has been designing kitchens for 30= years and Kitchens by Kleweno have been in business 65 years, which is a huge accomplishment !! I used them to design a kitchen for myself also which exceeded my expectation.

We hired “Kitchens By Kleweno” for our complete kitchen remodel after visiting their shop for many years. We kept coming back to their showroom because we were always impressed with the quality of high-end cabinetry they had available, unique and innovative elements displayed in their showroom and their low pressure sales approach. With Kleweno’s years of experience in the Kansas City area, we had no doubt that that they had the ability to undertake this project that we had been dreaming about for years but was in the actual planning stage for about 5 months and then in construction for about 6 months. After visiting our home and understanding our wishes and objectives, within a few weeks they presented several design alternatives from which to choose and a budget. Once we selected the design and formally retained their services detailed work on the plan ensued. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Kitchens By Kleweno designer throughout the involved process in selecting cabinetry and its finishes, countertops and backsplashes, appliances, plumbing and lighting as well as developing several custom features. Once these details were finalized they presented their bid and helped us select a suitably qualified contractor. The project included; •removal of a bearing wall previously dividing dining the room from the kitchen, •removal of an exterior wall and door and replacement with a double sliding French door, •removal and replacement of two windows, •plumbing and gas installation, •installation of new flooring, •installation of a new 100 amp subpanel to serve the new kitchen, •installation of the new cabinets, countertops and appliances, •a unique glass tower that was not only functional but elegant, •extensive lighting, and •final finishes. Between Kleweno and our contractor, they managed all of the engineering details and permits. Our contractor and his sub-contractors were top notch. He kept the project rolling and on schedule and the execution of the installation was flawless. “Kitchens By Kleweno” and our contractor brought years of experience working closely with local suppliers. When issues arose they were quickly addressed and resolved. The result was a kitchen that is not only beautiful but functional as well and the project overall has made a huge improvement in the aesthetic of our home.

Kitchens by Kleweno's attention to detail and pride in their work is outstanding. They care about getting things right and are willing to do whatever it takes to get that. Their design ideas for both my complete kitchen remodel and bath remodel exceeded my expectations. But what's more, their problem solving skills during the installation and enthusiasm to be sure work was done the "right" way also exceeded my expectations.

Our project was a total kitchen/sunroom/family room and patio remodel of an existing first level space. Our goal was to open the old first level living spaces to provide a more open area where we often entertain. Kitchens by Kleweno provided the turn key kitchen design and installation of all cabinetry, counter tops, appliance selection, lighting design, and kitchen plumbing fixture selection. The Kleweno team needed to work closely with our architect, interior designer, as well as, with our construction contractor to coordinate their design concepts within the broader scope of the home remodel project. The Kleweno team couldn't have been more helpful with multiple creative solutions to match our desired kitchen space needs and desires. They listened carefully and patiently as we critiqued iterations of the design to make sure we would be pleased with the final product. In addition, they worked closely with our other architect and builder to ensure the seamless installation of the cabinets, counter tops and appliances. No remodel project is without some unexpected bumps and when those occurred , limited as they were due to Kleweno's detailed planning and coordination with our builder, the problems were corrected effortlessly by the team and our builder. We couldn't be more pleased with our beautiful new and highly functional kitchen space. We now have beautiful sight lines from the kitchen space into other areas of our home and the patio which makes both daily use and entertaining much more enjoyable. The cabinet quality and the appliances that were selected are simply gorgeous and a joy to use. We ultimately expanded Kleweno's scope to include assistance with an upgrade to our laundry room as well before the total project was completed. I would highly recommend Kleweno to anyone that seeks a highly professional and creative team to remodel any area that requires new cabinetry, appliances and fixtures. Their attention to detail is exceptional.
