KONST SieMatic - Kitchen Interior Design

First off, we love our Siematic kitchen cabinetry. Crisp modern look in our 19th c townhouse is the envy of our Capitol Hill neighborhood. But, the BEST thing is the CUSTOMER SERVICE that Kate Wilson of KONST Siematic gave us. She tracked down what we needed. From Germany! It took many phone calls and persistence. Buying your cabinets is one thing, but getting the follow-up customer service is another. KONST Siematic gives close attentive customer service, which in the end is the MOST important.

We used their installer to move and re-fit a display kitchen we bought from their showroom floor. He was fabulous and willing to modify to fit everything we asked for. Both the product and the install were excellent.

We have a Siematic kitchen and love it. Unfortunately the brackets that held the baseboard in place got displaced. I called KONST in Bethesda and spoke with Caroline Powers. She knew exactly what the problem was, and sent us replacement brackets within 2 days! Great customer service: our Siematic kitchen is back together. When we are ready to do it over, we will call KONST.

KONST helped us create our dream kitchen in our small Georgetown townhouse. We selected the absolutely-gorgeous line of SieMatic BeauxArts.02 cabinets in matte sterling grey, topped with Silestone countertops, and we accented the crisp look of the room with a wall of nickel/glass and high-gloss wood cabinets. Breathtaking! Jonas and Mike are incredibly talented designers, able to envision a space and create the ideal layout of cabinets and fixtures. Their recommendations for appliances, faucets, sinks, etc. were all spot on - top quality and beautiful pieces. The new kitchen went into an existing and somewhat constrained space, laced with doors, corners, and ducts to work around. But Jonas worked magic and created the perfect flow between dining room, butler's pantry, and kitchen, which now spills onto a back patio through large paned-glass french doors. The space works beautifully for the cook and entertainer in us - we can easily accommodate many dinner guests, or have multiple people cooking or mixing drinks at once. After cooking here for over six months, I can honestly say that there is not a single drawer or cabinet that I would move or exchange - the design is perfect. The SieMatic cabinets themselves are gorgeous, velvety soft and so easy to clean, in the most calming shade of grey. I was resistant at first to the idea of not having wood interiors, but my view has completely reversed - I could not be happier. Overall, the kitchen is a seamless continuum between traditional and modern, clean and elegant, refined and fun. The space now contains a spacious island with seating, floor and wall cabinets, a pantry, a Miele dishwasher, two sinks, three Sub-Zero freezer drawers and one fridge drawer, a Sub-Zero column refrigerator, a six burner gas Wolf stove, and a Miele microwave combo oven. Everything is stunning!

I was very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail by the entire team at Konst Siematic. On my first visit I met with the owner and we went over in great detail his vision for my kitchen. On subsequent visits I worked with his team and they were always there to answer any of my questions. Their designers worked very closely with me to design a kitchen that was budget conscious and met my specifications. When the installation of my kitchen was delayed by 6 months due to unexpected active duty training with the Army, Konst was very flexible in establishing an installation date that worked for my schedule. The quality and functionality of the cabinets exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Konst for anyone interested in upgrading their kitchen.
