I selected Jane for my family & bath room remodel and so thankful to have picked her. She has an eye for space and design based on practical storage needs. Both rooms came out amazing! Jane was very collaborative with unique ideas that made the room design so much better! I would not only recommend her, but use her again!

Jane is an amazing designer! She designed our kitchen and three bathrooms with the utmost attention to detail. She was able to make sense out of what we envisioned our kitchen and bathrooms to be and transformed our thinking into reality. Her guidance and listening skills are impeccable!

Sarah Squiers Jane was an absolute dream to work with on our kitchen remodel. She designed numerous options for consideration, listened to input, adapted/made decisions quickly and kept the project on track to finish exactly to the date determined at onset. Tearing down all your walls is a daunting task, but the design Jane came up with made it a welcome change. She was also highly complimented by our contractor who shared her designs were flawless, easy to follow with fine attention to detail. She is an absolute pleasure to do business, in fact we are hiring Jane again to re-design the entire lower level of our home. No need to interview anyone else...just hire Jane!

Working with Jane made the entire experience of updating our kitchen FUN! Jane has a great way of providing advice and counsel, and listening to client needs. She is very detail oriented and was a trusted partner through the process. I've worked with some designers and they insert their style on you. That is the opposite of how Jane works. She is very client-oriented and a great listener and problem solver. We had a very dark and outdated kitchen and she helped us update it in a streamlined manner. She is especially talented when it comes to utilizing space and thinking through how you use your space. I couldn't recommend her enough!

It would be impossible to overstate how grateful I am that I was introduced to Jane Ariyoshi. I hired Jane because her references were impeccable and her portfolio was compelling. The project involved a large kitchen remodel with extensive lighting design, wall removal, and the addition of a nano-style door to the outside. On all accounts, her services exceeded my expectations. Jane not only has a keen sense of design, but she also brings a much-welcomed dose of humility to her work. As the scope of my project evolved and took on added dimensions, Jane maintained an even keel at all times and brought to the table all of the elements that make for a smooth and successful project: grace, confidence, timeliness, humor, and breadth of experience.

Working with Jane of Kozo Designs was a complete pleasure. I asked for Jane's help with remodeling two of my bathrooms. She was great at providing inspiration, ideas and helping me to make final decisions. Jane is great at listening and providing direction. She is extremely easy to work with. Jane at Kozo Design worked with us to redesign our old wood burning fireplace into something much more contemporary and visually appealing. During the planning phase of our project, she made suggestions on items such tile choice, insert options, media placement, and lighting. In addition, she procured bids from top quality tradesmen, and most importantly, worked to improve the overall use of our space. Working with Jane was a wonderful experience. She listened to our ideas, offered creative solutions, was budget conscience, eliminated frictions throughout the process, and most importantly, kept ME from getting sidetracked! We are so thrilled with the transformation of our room. It is now where we want to spend the majority of our time. Can’t wait to work with her again for a kitchen update. Highly recommend!

Jane helped us with our basement design and took into consideration all the ways we wanted to use the space. It's perfect! The lovely modern fixtures, built-ins and hardware she recommended look fabulous. We already have her working on another project in our kitchen and I'm definitely calling her when I re-do our den upstairs. She was quick with quotes and responses and addressed all our concerns and wishes- a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend working with Kozo designs!!

We worked with Jane at Kozo Designs to redo our kitchen, dining room and fireplaces. The original kitchen was dated, complete with pink marble and neon lights, and did not fit our tastes or the vision for our house. Jane worked closely with us to open up and lighten up the feel of the house, which included removing two walls, adding a window, and including more open-kitchen features. We've lived with this kitchen going on 7 years, and I am always enormously please with how well the kitchen/dining/living room is designed. There are several little details that would not have occurred to me that delight me every time I use them. We have worked or met with other designers, and what we really like about working with Jane is how receptive and understanding she is to your ideas, and her follow-through in executing your vision. That being said, she's also not afraid to give you her honest opinion about things, and more often than not her words are insightful and sensible. As a final bonus, Jane is also really organized and professional, and as a result worked seamlessly with our contractor. I would recommend, and have recommended, Kozo Designs to anyone looking to remodel. She does not disappoint!
