Every phone call and email was answered right away. Any time I had problem it was taken care of immediately. A few years after my cabinets were completed I noticed I had a problem due to my own fault. Not only did they take care of it right way, they did not charge me for a thing. We did a quite large renovation of a midcentury house in Roslyn Estates, NY. It was designed by an understudy of Frank Lloyd Wright, Edgar Tafel. We wanted to maintain the spirit of the original design, especially with regard to the kitchen. We are gourmet cooks by hobby and wanted a good balance of functionality and beauty. Marlene was right on the mark with her design concepts. She was easy to work with, very accessible and responsive. We had a few iterations of the island design but she didnt give up until we came up with all the elements and size that we wanted to incorporate. The cabinet choices and layout of the varoius componants was perfect. The kitchen has a wonderful flow and makes perfect sense. Aesthetically, it is spectacular. All the folks and family at Kithen Depot were a pleasure to work with and the quality of the cabinets is excellent.The process was a pleasure due to Marlenes ability to listen and care about what we wanted in a kitchen.

I cannot express enough, how wonderful Marlene was to work with. She’s patient, knowledgable and right on target with everything she helped me plan. It’s not an overstatement to say that I’m thrilled with the outcome and it was of due to her patience, professionalism and her professional relationships. We had an odd space that lacked symmetry and included 3 doors and 4 windows. We consulted several people about possible kitchen designs and Marlene was the only who created a sensible, workable layout that made sense for usability, comfort, workspace, and traffic flow. We have used the completed kitchen for 9 months now and are still completely satisfied with her floor plan, cabinet layout, and appliance choices. We never say "if only" or ask "shouldn't we have changed this?" We are completely satisfied with our experience with Marlene and our new kitchen.

We recently worked with Marlene to completely renovate our kitchen and laundry/mud room. Her designs for both areas were both beautiful and practical and she was a pleasure to work with. Marlene patiently helped us select our cabinet style and placement and coordinated the countertops, hardware, and backsplashes to create the look and function that we wanted. Her cabinet measurements were flawless, leading to a seamless installation. The cabinets from Kitchen Depot are very well-made at a fair price and arrived as promised within 6 weeks of ordering (including a holiday break), at a time when other manufacturers and suppliers were quoting 16 to 20 weeks. Marlene recommended a contractor who was wonderful as well, and coordinated well with Marlene to complete our renovation quickly and with no change orders. She also referred the countertop fabricator, who coordinated with Marlene and the contractor to complete the renovation. We highly recommend Marlene without hesitation.

Marlene was wonderful to work with and very patient with me and my many changes and ideas for my kitchen. I must have changed my ideas about 5-6 times and every time she gave me feedback and helped make my vision come to life. The cabinets came in early and are beautiful. One of the drawers didn't close completely and she had a new drawer made without an issue. My contractor also hung my knob in the wrong place and Marlene took the door back, sanded it and repainted it so it would look brand new with our hesitation.

I do not usually write reviews but I was so happy with my kitchen remodel that I felt I had to take the time to write this review regarding working with Marlene. First she drove to our home in a Nor-Easter to meet with us on design options and not cancel our appointment. Marlene, thought of things that we may need that I hadn't thought of. She realized that we would not have enough space for food storage when this residence became our primary in a few years,and suggested a pantry that is just fantastic. She really looked at the space and suggested removing a wall to make room for a peninsula. We did that and it transformed the entire area. The peninsula has become the hub for the entire family. The cabinets were ready in a very short period of time. I was very happy with the speed of completion and of course the quality. Both Marlene's design ability as well as the quality of the cabinets made the kitchen remodel a pleasure.

I walked in to kitchen depot and as soon as I met Marlene I felt like this is it. I have been looking around for someone to design my kitchen for quite a few months but everyone just gave me exactly what I had just making some changes. Marlene was great. From the very beginning she had great ideas and suggestions for the layout of our kitchen. She helped with the cabinet selection from the color and style to the handles and knobs. We had previously had another kitchen designed by Marlene eight years ago at our old home. It was simply replacing the existing layout, which I installed myself, and everything worked out fine. So when we bought our new home and redid the kitchen, we made many changes and had it professionally installed. We went back to the same cabinet company and to our pleasant surprise, Marlene was still working there. She was attentive to our style and helped pick the both the color schemes and styles. During installation, any questions the contractor had were answered quickly, with revised drawings. No sales pitches, no pressure, just professionalism.

Marlene designed both our kitchen and master bath. Her attention to detail, design creativity, and sensitivity to budget are all first rate. I'm writing this from our kitchen - Marlene suggested angled cabinets near our entrance, an oversized pantry where we wouldn't have thought of one, and a completely custom layout under an oddly angled extension. The details inside the cabinets, from slide out drawers where they make sense, and strongly suggesting fixed shelves where we thought slide outs were better, make me glad we followed her advice fully. Couldn't be happier... plus she's patient and friendly, and responds quickly to messages and emails. I've already send friends and colleagues her way!

I was recommended to Kitchen Depot by my contractor (DTM Contracting Inc.) when renovating my master bathroom for cabinets. When going through the showroom, Marlene was very helpful in providing me information and samples. I was able to take my time, contacting Marlene and visiting the showroom several times before making a final decision. Marlene redesigned our kitchen and entire layout. It was a big project because we were removing a wall between our kitchen and front living room and our goal was to redesign the space and make it welcoming and functional. From beginning to end, Marlene was a pleasure to work with. My husband who is not a contractor was doing a lot of the work so he had a lot of questions and Marlene was so prompt in getting back to him and responding to all of his concerns. She did so many drawings for us as I kept changing my mind and we finally decided on the final one. The cabinets arrived when she said they would. When the cabinet installer had questions about installing the valances, she was on the phone with him. When that didn't help, she said I will be there tomorrow and she was. She is so professional, really knows what she is doing and such a nice person. We absolutely love our kitchen and our new space and so glad we chose Marlene to design it. We were doing a complete home renovation. Marlene worked with my house designer and me to create a kitchen that is gorgeous! I needed my kitchen cabinet doors & drawers replaced. The boxes were in great condition. Marlene came to the house took down all the specifics. Listened to what I wanted to see and made some great design suggestions. I met her at the beautiful showroom in Hauppauge & Marlene pointed out all my options. Marlene provided 3 different designs for us to consider for our new kitchen. When we finally decided, she came to our construction site ( condo unit) and actually mapped out with tape where everything would be. This way we had a good idea about actual space utilization, not just on paper. She provided us with an actual door of the cabinets we ordered so as to be able to match colors. We had 1 issue with hinges and one scratched door and Marlene worked closely with our contractor to correct the problem. Very stress free. Marlene is a professional and even included items we did not order or even know about. such as under counter molding to cover the lighting wood utensil trays throughout. My wife was very pleasantly surprised to see these wood trays. We were working with a tight budget, and Marlene showed us ways to save some money. We get so many compliments on our kitchen when people visit. The head of maintenance came into our home just yesterday to do some work for us and he commented how he loved the design and look of our new kitchen. Would highly recommend Marlene and Kitchen Depot. Great service, great quality and great prices. They delivered on time and within budget. Worked incredibly well with contractor so as to make the experience very stress free. They took care of every little detail.

It was great working with Marlene to renovate my kitchen. I had already designed what I thought I wanted, but Marlene had many suggestions on different options that I hadn’t considered and those options are really what made the renovation a complete success. I’ve received so many compliments because of the features she recommended – bumping out several cabinets to break up having straight walls of cabinets, pull out spice drawers instead of fillers, etc. She carefully thought out the complete design to ensure that all space was utilized and fully functional. Marlene helped me design a wall to wall, ceiling to floor library in my living room. I had a solid idea what I wanted, but she made several improvements which were greatly appreciated. I hired an installer at her recommendation, and they did a wonderful job. We met with Marlene with an "idea" of what we thought we wanted. She was able to expand upon our initial idea and give us the ultimate kitchen we never thought possible. We asked Marlene to help us out on a very different idea. In the master bath, we decided to remove the never-used bathtub and replace it with a window seat. After giving the project some discussion in the office, Marlene got back to us with a fantastic layout drawing (to our overall dimensions) that included two large storage drawers. We weren't expecting that but it was a pleasant surprise. The cabinetry was an exact replica of the existing vanity and wall cabinet. The seamless design makes it look like NOT an afterthought, but as if this cabinet seating had been there since the original build. Marlene's professionalism, expertise and prior experience in building cabinet seating made our job go so much easier. The finished product is beautiful and super strong. She came in under deadline and even helped us out with delivery. It is always a pleasure to do business with her - this was our third time!

After quite successfully using Marlene's services in the past, we decided to go to her again with the idea of a storage Spa Bench in place of the existing bathtub (that nobody used). We gave her the measurements and let her design a few layouts to choose from. She created this lovely Spa Bench for us that was an easy install. Everyone loves it and it is a lot more useful than the tub. She was a pleasure to work with and is highly recommended by us.

Marlene designed a kitchen for me she took my basic layout and tweeked it like a desinger should , it pops when you enter the room. Other kitchen cabinet deignerscould not do what I was asking because they where limited to what there suppliers offer and they get stuck in" the computer say's" mode, and do not think creativly my customer loved it ,her kitchen is the only one like it in the nieghborhood. There are only 4 models in the entire area. Because Kitchen Depot is flexible with there boxes it enables her to do more than what you get from stock box sizes. Of course my customer is now "THE KITCHEN" on the block everyone wants to know how I did it .
