Working with Rachel has been a dream! From the beginning, she's been very open, honest, positive, and full of ideas that ultimately brought our new kitchen and entertainment space to life. 3D renderings early in the design process helped us see what the new space would look like. Her pre-construction checklist kept us organized so we knew "next steps" and design decisions we needed to make. She had blue prints ready for the sub-contractors and was always checking in on construction progress to ensure the vision was coming to life as expected. We didn't feel any of the normal construction stress because Rachel had gotten everything organized in advance. We also appreciated the open communication all the way through the end of construction! We would HIGHLY recommend working with Maven Home Interiors!

What a fantastic experience we had with Rachel and her team throughout the renovation of our home. We initially intended to use her design services for the full interior remodel however after such a great experience, used some of her expertise for the outside as well. Rachel was professional, punctual and the best part was after a few sessions she understood our style and also what we wanted in our home. During the design side she provide different thoughts and innovative ideas, additionally during the actual remodel she worked with the Timberline Construction team to make sure we ended with our dream remodel. We couldn't be happier!

Rachel is an absolute dream! She did the design of our brand new custom home! She listened to our desires and promptly rendered every scenario on her online software that allowed us to view our homes imagery making the decisions and design process seamless and fun! Her knowledge of cabinetry and style was incredibly important to us! We absolutely could NOT have built this home without Rachel and the Maven team! We had a small budget to work with on a complete kitchen renovation. It was hard to know if spending the money on a designer was going to be worth it but with the space we had, I needed that extra help. I have to say that hiring Rachel as our designer was truly the best investment we made! Rachel is absolutely amazing. She not only has ideas that we would not have come up with, but she has the knowledge to know when things just are not going to look good and offered better options. I spent months looking in kitchen design groups for insight and saw that a lot of people had either made critical oversights in their renovation or their designers did things that ended up not working for them. I had ZERO issues with our design. It all came together, and it is perfect. Rachel and her staff make the whole process easy. I never felt lost and if I had a question, even if it seemed like a silly question, it was answered promptly and with kindness. Rachel was wonderful about letting me know if a price I had found for things was in range or to look elsewhere. She had knowledge about what companies to use and had referrals for things we needed at logical costs while still getting the best quality. She never tried to push me towards things I could not afford or that I did not like. Rachel listens to what you say and helps you turn something you cannot even envision into the space of your dreams. I have friends that have seen our completed kitchen that comment that they spent more than we did on our project, and they did not get a final product that looks as beautiful. My family is so happy to have a space that not only looks nice but functions perfectly for us.

Rachel did a fabulous job designing our home. We have a 100+year old condo that we tore down to the studs. Rachel designed every aspect of the place and it came out beautifully. She considered the art deco time period, our preferences, and gave us lots of great ideas. She was prompt in everything she did and worked well with our contractor. I would highly recommend Maven for any size job. You won't be disappointed!

We had a delightful experience working with Rachel for our kitchen remodel. She has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and is very well connected with people and places, which made finding the materials we needed easier and faster. She’s extremely detail oriented. She made beautiful 3D renderings of our kitchen remodel, which made it easier to visualize how our kitchen would come together in the end. Most importantly, she really sought to find what our style was and what we wanted in a kitchen, and directed us toward high-quality materials that would fit our style. She has a great sense of design and was able to provide helpful input in our choices while still supporting our needs and interests. She was very thoughtful with the kitchen design and layout and designed the kitchen around not just what we wanted it to look like, but how we were going to use it. We have received so many compliments on our kitchen, including from the general contractor who told us that it was one of the best kitchens that he’s ever worked on. We could not be happier with our experience with Rachel, I cannot recommend her strongly enough!

We remodeled the main level of our home, including the kitchen, laundry room, family room, 2 full baths and 2 half baths as well as taking out walls for an open concept kitchen and gathering area. I knew we needed a designer to help make sure the home flowed throughout. Rachel at Maven Home Interiors was just the right person to help. She took the time to find out exactly what our ideas and hopes were for the final product and was there every step of the way to help carry them out. She uses a 3D computer system that showed us what rooms would look like before they were completed. Rachel and her team are knowledgeable, professional and good at what they do. Just the best! Rachel and her team have done an amazing job with our kitchen/almost entire main floor remodel and it has been a delight to work with Maven Home Interiors. We knew less than nothing at the beginning of this process and, thankfully, Rachel can do it all - she designed our new layout and then could show it to us with 3D renderings! We were completely overwhelmed with all the choices but she listened and then offered options, all of which were good, to narrow down our preferences - complete with renderings of how each color or texture would look. (Outside of a very rough idea, we didn't even know what we wanted and she figured it out and made it stunning). We've never, ever felt rushed or pressured. Also, everyone she suggested we work with has been fantastic and the very best quality work and products were supplied - we haven't had to have anyone come back and redo anything. I love my kitchen more everyday as I figure out just how functional it is. Most of all, Rachel and her team are just great people - they really love their job and you can tell. I can't wait for future projects with this group!

Rachel is amazing at what she does! We have an older home with some awkward areas and she was willing to test multiple design options to make sure we had the best solution for our space! She made the process quick & easy! And best of all, I love our new design!

Rachel, of Maven Home Interiors, was introduced to us through our kitchen remodel contractor. At first we thought the contractor was asking us to spend unnecessary funds because we knew in our minds how we wanted the kitchen remodeled. However, working with Rachel, and following her plan made a huge difference. Our initial meeting involved Rachel, our contractor, my husband and myself. During that first meeting, Rachel got an idea of what we wanted from the remodeling. She also made suggestions of how we could make the new kitchen “flow” efficiently. We then agreed on the price of her services, which I must say is very reasonable, especially if we get her professional opinion, guidance and construction diagrams for doing the kitchen remodel. Within two weeks, Rachel returned with a detailed plan and measurements, which we reviewed and modified to fine tune to our particular tastes; she also incorporated suggestions by the contractor based on his kitchen remodeling experience. Rachel sent us and the contractor copies of the finalized plans. Rachel knew we were new to the area where we had purchased the home, so she offered to meet us at different stores to look for products we would need for the kitchen remodel, such as tile, counter tops, etc. Rachel called intermittently during the project to inquire about how the remodel project was progressing. We appreciated her interest in our behalf. Our experience with Rachel is very positive. Her gentle approach with people makes her easy to work with; she has a good knowledge with her design program to be able to make modifications in the plans/drawings quickly, a good knowledge of the industry, and a very good eye for seeing what her client is envisioning. We were lucky to have her as part of our kitchen remodel team.

Rachel did an amazing job with our Kitchen Remodel. We removed a wall between rooms along with re-positioning our bathroom and laundry area. I can't say enough positive things about her--the design was top-notch and her patience and professionalism were exceptional. She pays close attention to workspace and placement of upgraded drawers. Every inch of space was utilized. I would highly recommend working with Rachel!

We met with a fourth contractor for a full master bathroom remodel and met their designer Rachel whose personality, poise and professionalism stood head and shoulders above all the previous designers. After listening to our ideas and expectations she evaluated the available design space and within minutes offered a plan to expand the walk-in shower area beyond our expectations while retaining a critical component to the master bathroom theme; a separate makeup vanity. No one else saw this opportunity. This idea solidified an outstanding designer-homeowner relationship that endured throughout the project including tile, cabinet wood, color and design, and hardware selection. She was available throughout the construction process and was critical in working through designer-construction problem solving to our complete and total satisfaction. Rachel was the consummate professional who we would use again and recommend to family and friends.

I am so happy I found Maven Home Interiors/Rachel on Houzz. She has been an amazing help on getting my basement project accomplished. As I was originally contemplating doing the project, I was not planning on spending the money on a designer. But I am so glad I did. Having Rachel create the design plan and walk me through fixture options has been a huge help in visualizing what the final project will look like. She has also offered up suggestions (without being pushy!) on fixtures and tile choices to make sure the final look flows together and doesn't end up a complete mix of design styles. I would highly recommend hiring Rachel for your next project need - you won't be disappointed!

This was a seamless experience, thanks to the assistance of Rachel. What could have been a disaster, since we really did not know what we were doing. Turned out to be the a great project. We are completely happy with the space. Everytime we walk to our amazing finish basement it is like entering a new home! I highly recommend Rachel for any project. She did such a wonderful job, that we are contemplating remodeling the kitchen now.

Rachel is a real professional to work with. We had a jumble of ideas for our kitchen remodel and with Rachel's help they came to life with scaled drawings and 3-D renderings. We appreciated her input and guidance into the process and never felt like she had taken over the process and was designing her own kitchen. Rachel kept us well informed of the progress of our cabinet construction and installation schedule so we could accomplish the demolition, installation, countertops, and tile work without delays. When questions or changes were necessary, a quick text or phone call to Rachel was all it took to get any issues solved. She is very easy to work with and responsive.

Rachel was amazing when I hired her to help me remodel my kitchen. She really listened to me and figured out my style, then helped me when complications and decisions got difficult, as they always do. I found Rachel online and I decided to reach out to her because of the good reviews I had read. I was so happy to learn for myself that she lived up to her reviews. We met in person and Rachel could immediately see my vision and said that she had the knowledge and the tools to help me see my dream renovation come true. It was quite a large project with a lot of changes. We were taking the master bath and hall bath with a complete demo and turning into a dream master bath, adding a much needed walk-in closet and updated hall bathroom. Rachel helped me get exactly what I was looking for and even helped me find a good construction crew through her contacts. Rachel Hutchens is an incredible designer! ¬¬We love our newly remodeled open concept kitchen. Rachel takes the time to get to know her clients and their tastes. She’s a very good listener. At the beginning of the process she asked me to begin collecting pictures of kitchens that appealed to me. True story …. We met on several occasions and I was able to share my vision for our new kitchen but, what I was describing was not matching the pictures I was saving on Pinterest. Rachel carefully shared her thoughts and helped me see that what I wanted was a modern farmhouse. Along the way, Rachel gave us multiple versions of designs and was always willing to tweak them to make it easier for us to make decisions. Besides designing our kitchen Rachel was involved in all aspects of our project by helping us select flooring materials, paint and cabinet colors, hardware, new fireplace design and lighting fixtures. She took us shopping for backsplash tile and countertops. She responded to questions promptly which helped keep the worries down to a minimum. Remodeling can be quite stressful and she was incredibly understanding and willing to support. We couldn’t be more please with the results and highly recommend Rachel to anyone dreaming of a new beautiful kitchen!
