Medallion Cabinetry

While I like the design and options Medallion offers, the quality of these cabinets is subpar, especially for the price. Drawers were badly put together, with screws sticking out the sides of the boxes. Drawers faces were not flush with the drawer boxes. Cabinet doors were all warped to some degree. Paint was missing from the edges of the cabinet doors on nearly every door delivered.

My opinion is that their product is crap. I didn't choose to use them to make my cabinets . My contractor did. I am furious with the product I received. I'm not convinced that all of it is actually the type of wood we ordered. Some of it looks like particle board. The Medallion Cabinets actually ruined the look of my dream kitchen. They replaced a few of the hideous pieces but the whole thing just looks like a hot mess. The last 4 months of my life were very negatively affected because of this company's product. I would highly recommend that you choose a different cabinet company.

I have very mixed feelings about these cabinets. First, what you see in the showroom as with most cabinets is not the level of quality you will have show up. What showed up at my house was a bunch of wet boxes, that I then had to go cut vent the boxes. Unfortunately this is just were the problems began. We had a two tone layout, painted exterior uppers and oak lowers and island. Lowers- Overall not bad except for the consistency of their staining and the end cabinet for our prep sink. Some edges had to be touched up on site because they were missed. Additionally, the end cabinet for our prep sink was manufactured 1/16 off so it didn’t flush with the perimeter cabinets. I had to break the seam and fix. Hardware is nice and the drawer build is solid. Uppers- Here is where I have a big issue. Doors are made from press board and almost all of them have some warping. Got replacement doors ordered as well and most of them just had the same issues. On top of that they didn’t even install all the dividers we had customized the cabinets with. They sent me the tray dividers after I pointed out they were missing and had to install myself. For the price point I had quotes to have fully custom cabinets built with actual ¾ inch ply boxes. If I had it to do over again, I would have went with that and just added the accessories. That or if I wanted mediocre cabinets I could have went to home depot and saved some money. Overall, not worth the price and quality/ QC from factory is subpar.

I've sold Medallion cabinets for about 10 years, and have experience installing them for even longer. For the price they're one of the best lines out there, and have a great selection of door styles colors and modifications. They have their issues, but nothing that isn't common in the industry, and have always stood behind their product and warranty. Many of the reviews of them are dealer issues and not reflective of Medallions product.

I have been in kitchen design for the last 25 years and started using Medallion about 12 or so years ago. I like the three levels of Medallion to choose from with Silverline, Gold and Platinum giving the consumer a broad choice of options to fit their needs. I have about 6) vendors of cabinets to choose from in my showroom but Medallion is definitely my "go to" for styles, colors and options.

I've been using and selling medallion cabinetry for years always had great success with the product. They also have an amazing standard paint color called White Icing it's just the perfect white not to bright not to yellow. Love this Devenshire door I used for this project it's classic and clean! Had a few issues but everything was taken care of once I spoke to a customer care representative on the phone. Hood was not a medallion product.

I have been designing with Medallion Cabinetry for years and have always been more than happy with the end result. The selections of doors, finishes and wood choices exceed my expectations. The walk-thru pantry is beautifully "hidden" within the kitchen. I, along with my customers, have always been very pleased with the end result.
