Merri Interiors, Inc.

Working with Meredith was an absolute pleasure. She made what could have been a very stressful, daunting project of doing a kitchen renovation in our NY home while in FL a seamless process! My new kitchen is everything I could have imagined and more!

We had an outstanding experience working with Merri from Merri Interiors. She designed and orchestrated the entire transformation of our home — including the kitchen, bathroom, kitchenette, dining room, laundry room, and a beautiful bar — and the results are simply stunning. From the initial design through construction, Merri managed every detail with professionalism, organization, and a calm, confident approach. The entire process was seamless, and her ability to coordinate contractors, timelines, and finishes made what could have been a stressful project feel smooth and effortless. Her design vision, attention to detail, and commitment to quality truly show in the finished spaces. Each area is both highly functional and beautifully executed, and everything came together perfectly. If you’re looking for someone who delivers exceptional design along with a highly professional and well-managed process, we highly recommend Merri Interiors.

We worked with Merri to turn our outdated kitchen and dining room into the kitchen and gathering space of our dreams. Merri’s keen eye for design, friendliness and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction made her a joy to work with. We particularly appreciated Merri’s willingness to listen to our likes/dislikes; Merri is a visionary, but she always is receptive to feedback from the client and works as a collaborative teammate to deliver exceptional results. She is truly an artist and we would eagerly recommend her to anyone looking to renovate their kitchen.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-5 STARS We’ve been working with Meredith from Merri Interiors for about seven years now, and we’ve loved every minute of it. Meredith’s design expertise, creativity, and incredible attention to detail, paired with her willingness to collaborate, consistently take the projects we work on together to a level you don’t often see. Every element she selects, from parts and pieces to trim and molding, is always spot on and never misordered. This level of precision helps us bring our projects in on time and within budget. She’s also a pleasure to work with; professional, organized, and wonderfully communicative. Meredith is always available when questions arise and offers thoughtful advice that makes a real difference. On top of all that, our clients are always thrilled with their experience working with Meredith. Her ability to listen, understand their vision, and deliver beautiful, livable spaces leaves a lasting impression every single time. We truly value our partnership with Merri Interiors and couldn’t recommend Meredith more highly. Clark, Josh & The Good To Go Construction Team

We had never used a designer before and we had ideas before we hired Merri but we used her ideas for the layout of our renovated kitchen and are very glad we did. She also made the whole process a breeze: she created renderings of the proposed kitchen, she had her own samples of cabinet material and tiles and met us at the stores for countertop material and tiles and grout. She also sent us many large samples of the colors we were considering for the walls. We love our new kitchen and cannot imagine having tried to renovate our kitchen without her.

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Meredith for generously offering her time and expertise through a Facebook kitchen design group. I’ve been dealing with inaccurate info from my own designer and feeling pretty overwhelmed. She kindly stepped in with an offer to review my design—completely free of charge. Her thoughtful, practical suggestions were clear, helpful, and truly appreciated during a very stressful time. It made a big difference and helped me feel more confident moving forward. I’m so grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and generosity!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Merri on a design of our kitchen, powder room and sunroom and we couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish she brought a level of detail, creativity and professionalism that exceeded our expectations. Merri was incredibly attentive to what was important to us. We quickly came to trust her decisions. She understood our style and needs and helped us make choices that not only looked beautiful but were also highly functional. She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer guidance. She also connected us with excellent contractors and vendors. Her relationships with these professionals made the entire process smooth and efficient. Everyone she recommended clearly respected her input. Thanks to her talent and dedication, we now have spaces in our home that are not only stunning but feel perfectly "us". We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Merri to anyone looking for a designer who is skilled, trustworthy and a true pleasure to work with!

If I could give Merri Interiors over 5 stars, I would! What a gem and talented designer! From initial consultation through final product, Merri Weiss walked us through every concept, aspect, vendor and planning step with professionalism, knowledge and care. Her hands on approach and attention to detail is like no other. She truly listened to our needs, while keeping practicability in mind and informing us of all of the little details we would have never thought of. She introduced us to the perfect construction team, Good to Go Maintenance, and together they transformed our kitchen, living room, laundry room, two bathrooms, foyer, and sitting area into perfection for us. We are so thrilled and it was such a pleasure working with Merri.

Merri made our dream kitchen a reality. She transformed our house into a space our family can enjoy and we feel so proud to show everyone! She took us step by step through the process in choosing every detail to make the space incredible. Our space was complex and she found a way to make it useable and beautiful. Every detail was thought through with care and made the process which could have been overwhelming so much easier. We have other spaces we will be updating and Merri is the only person I would trust to make the space become amazing. She listens, collaborates and is so attuned to your vision. Five stars is not enough.

There are many factors that go into the process of renovating a kitchen. Meredith takes what can be an overwhelming process and streamlines it. She is a talented professional who is intelligent, focused, detail-oriented, and responsive to all concerns. Meredith was very good at “marrying” our ideas. She spent time getting to know us and our design styles. She was able to provide solutions where both parties felt represented in the design. Our kitchen is truly custom. Each decision was deliberate and well-thought out through Meredith’s guidance and expertise. The result was a kitchen that far exceeded our expectations. It is sophisticated, upscale and the happiest room in the house. Anne and Anthony Oliveri

I would highly recommend Merri for her design expertise, as she helped bring ideas we had to life! She incorporated multiple textures so that the room was not too cool and not to warm…blending my design desires and my husbands too. I simply love the new space and appreciate all the work Merri put in to make it a reality!

I had followed Merri’s work and knew she would be a great fit for us. Merri helped make our vision come to life, and then some. She was instrumental in connecting us with a top notch contractor who had invaluable experience in creating beautiful kitchens. Together they worked to make sure we were happy every step of the way. It was a true pleasure working with her!

I have spent all of my adult life with ugly, old kitchens. Thus, after over 35 years of cooking in suboptimal environments, when the opportunity arose for me to redesign my kitchen, it was a monumental occasion. I spent years dreaming about my ideal kitchen and realized this was a project I should not undertake on my own. I interviewed multiple designers and when Meredith Weiss of Merri Interiors entered my kitchen, she read my needs and dreams immediately. Issues that I could not articulate with the space, she focused on immediately. This began a relationship that was worth every moment of the decades of waiting. Meredith has a unique gift to guide a client’s decisions while allowing the client to be fully vested in every decision. For every hurdle, Meredith had a solution. Not just a resolution, but the perfect idea in amazing speed. Time and time again when I wanted something unique, Meredith had the answer in less than an hour. Every vendor in her network provided outstanding service with exemplary courtesy. Meredith honored my budget. The cabinets we chose were customized to my taste and needs and arrived on time, despite the complications of Covid. Meredith went with me and then suggested vendors until I found the countertop of my dreams. She had a vision for my kitchen floor and persevered until the perfect tile was found. The final room is so magnificent that I still pinch myself every time I enter, not believing that this stunning space is mine! While I am gushing about the aesthetics and practicality of Merri Interiors’ design down to the smallest detail, the best part of engaging Merri Interiors is interacting with Meredith. She has an uncanny memory and remembered precisely each detail of the kitchen and my quirks, despite working on multiple kitchens simultaneously. She provides so much attention that one feels as if one is her only client. In an age when no one pays attention, she listens to her clients intently. Whenever one texted or called, Meredith responded instantaneously with insight. While friends have complained that a kitchen renovation is taxing, Meredith made the process of kitchen design loads and loads of fun!

One of the best decisions we made throughout our entire renovation process was hiring Meredith! Meredith is a true professional; her knowledge and expertise of everything kitchen and design is second to none - she guided us through every decision, big or small, and paid attention to every little detail (including all of the details I would have never thought of) to ensure that our finished product was flawless. Meredith quickly got to know our “style” and preferences and kept those at the forefront throughout the design process, yet didn’t hesitate to give us her opinions and recommendations (a trait that I respected and appreciated, as that is why we hired a designer!). She was responsive to every question or concern along the way, and had a solution to any potential issue as soon as it arose. Meredith was organized, kept us on a timeline, and worked seamlessly with our contractor (which made our lives a whole lot easier). Most importantly, Meredith was truly invested in our project - we continually felt that she was fully present and that each detail, no matter how minute, mattered to her just as much as it did to us. I honestly couldn’t imagine completing this project without Meredith and can’t say enough wonderful things about her and her business. Thank you for everything (and keeping me sane), Meredith!

Meredith has impeccable design sense and knowledge of the industry. Her ability to navigate cabinet and material selection coupled with her design skills while considering my eclectic taste were responsible for creating a cohesive feel to my kitchen space. I am beyond happy with my beautiful kitchen.

We had the best experience with Merri. She was so professional and she had such amazing insights. Her designs made my kitchen perfect. She had ideas I would not have thought about but I was so happy how it turned out. Loved her!

Merri was an amazing partner and helped us create our dream kitchen! Her design ideas, organization and industry expertise made working with her a pleasure. She was a welcome addition to our design team and worked seamlessly with our architect and contractor. She was a true partner in the design process – she listened to our thoughts and ideas for the kitchen and made them into a reality. The entire process was seamless (no small task during a global pandemic!) and Merri was always available to answer questions and concerns. We couldn’t be happier with our final result and strongly recommend working with her!

We renovated our kitchen with an emphasis on gaining more storage and a more updated flow. We went to several kitchen businesses that provided similar plans that didn’t achieve what we needed. I found Meredith on Houzz and after reading all her reviews, contacted her. When we met, we knew she understood what we needed and would work with us to achieve our dreams. After Meredith created our plan, we felt confident about the design and that she’d be there for us, encouraging us to consider new ideas and helping to resolve any issues expertly and quickly. Meredith was everything we could’ve hoped for to guide us through the creation of our amazing new kitchen. She was professional, efficient, organized, and thoughtful and always responded immediately to our calls. As a result, we absolutely love our kitchen! However, I’m almost sad our kitchen is done…I’ll miss Meredith. Oh, and if your reading this and deciding on a kitchen designer, don’t hesitate! Meredith is the best!!

I am so in love with my new kitchen! Meredith was so wonderful and knowledgeable! She transformed what had been a small, dark and dysfunctional space into a glamorous, organized dream come true! From the very first meeting, she understood what I wanted from my new kitchen better than I could articulate. Every space is maximized with clever design. The flow of the kitchen is incredibly functional. It is also absolutely beautiful! Meredith has a wonderful eye for design, helping to expertly choose every small detail. She held my hand through the entire process from cabinets, back splash, handles and even paint color. It was a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

I can’t rave enough about my experience with Merri interiors. We have gone through the process of fully remodeling almost every room in our house and I was dreading having to do the kitchen due to all of our other experiences and how long each project took. I was blown away that the full gut and remodel of our kitchen was done faster and more efficiently then anything else we did. Merri was an absolute pleasure to work with and actually made the experience fun for us. I had my dream kitchen in mind and I never realized it could’ve come out better then I dreamed. Merri and her crew were so professional and attentive to all of our needs and requests. When they said they’d start at a certain time they were there AT THAT TIME. If they were a few min early they waiting in their car before ringing the bell. There’s no one out there that I would even consider recommending over Merri interiors. They are by far THE BEST !!

Merri made our dream kitchen a reality! From our first meeting until completion, she listened to what we wanted, always was readily available for questions, and guided us in the right direction. In the end, the results are stunning. We are beyond happy and highly recommend her work.

Not only is our kitchen gorgeous but it’s extremely functional. Merri made the renovation process easy and fun. She was always available to answer any questions and give her expert opinion. I now have a beautiful kitchen and a new friend.

Before we found Merri we had tried several kitchen designers and were always disappointed. No one seemed to be able to think outside the box and come up with any creative ideas for our space. The moment we met Merri, we knew we were going to love her. She really listened to us and asked questions until she understood what we wanted and needed from this renovation. She seemed just as excited about coming up with different options as we were to see them. We felt she really rose to the challenges of the space and produced beautiful, functional and creative designs. Merri has the patience of a Saint! We were probably the most indecisive people she has ever worked with and definitely needed a lot of hand holding during this process and she was happy to do it! She was always quick to respond when we had questions, and never made us feel like we were bothering her. This project felt completely overwhelming and she was so good at breaking it down into manageable parts. Merri gave us the courage to make the bold design choices that we wanted but were too scared to make. The end result was AMAZING! The kitchen is more than I ever expected. When people come over they are amazed at the transformation. The Architect came back to revise the plans and literally stopped in his tracks when he walked into the room and said, “WOW”. Our contractor was even impressed with Merri and enjoyed working with her. She was always professional, organized, and had amazing attention to detail. Merri was always present for measuring and all installations. If a problem arose she was immediately on top of it and had it resolved before I even realized there was a problem. We truly enjoyed working with Merri and miss her now that our project is done. She is amazing at what she does and you can easily see how passionate she is about her work. We highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed.

Merri took the time to understand our kitchen needs. She helped us to move in a design direction that suited our living style and budget, while creating a custom kitchen space. Her knowledge, experience and patience made the design process pleasurable and stress-free. Merri's insights gave us a timeless kitchen that we will enjoy for years to come. We can't thank you enough!

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Merri Interiors. Her knowledge and expertise during our kitchen renovation was spot on. Merri helped us design the kitchen of our dreams - holding our hands through the whole process - while giving us expert advice, listening carefully to our needs and always paying attention to detail. Her resources are top quality and the team she works with are very professional. Added bonus: she's a really nice person and a pleasure to work with!

Meridith was great ! She helped us every step of the way . We were lucky enough to have such a knowledgeable, patient and devoted person to help fulfill our dream kitchen. Look no further- she is the best at what she does ! Can’t thank you enough.

We are near the end of our Kitchen remodel and I have nothing but praise for Merri. She helped design our dream kitchen and we couldn’t be happier. Merri does a great job of walking you through the process step by step from the very beginning of design to the cabinet selection, countertops and floor selection, lighting, tile selection, hardware selection placement of the hardware on your cabinetry etc.. There is so much that goes into the creation of a kitchen you can truly appreciate the knowledge and care she brings to the table. Her value added is wide ranging. In addition to all this she is very responsive to her clients needs and is anyways a phone call or text away. I would recommend Merri to anyone doing their kitchen.

Thank you Merri! You gave our small and dated kitchen a timeless look and design that's highly functional. You made the entire project a simple process and knew exactly what we were envisioning. We love it!

Meredith is amazing to work with. She transformed my basement into my dream laundry room. Her ideas and visions are functional and stylish. She worked with me closely to ensure I was happy with the end result. I highly recommend Merri Interiors and I can’t thank them enough! They are a reliable company and I had such a great experience with them. I will definitely be using Merri Interiors for future projects!

Meredith was a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional from day one. We wanted to renovate our kitchen for many years, and we had several ideas about things we really wanted (adding a banquette/kitchen dining space, adding a compact bar space). Meredith listened to our ideas, and designed plans for us that were not only beautiful, but so much more functional and better use of space than we realized was possible. In addition, she created further compact cabinet/storage space that we never would have thought of and is amazing, but does not crowd the kitchen. Beyond that, our kitchen is gorgeous! From picking cabinets and hardware, color patterns, floor and backsplash, Meredith guided us every step of the way and we are so happy with our new space. Even though our project is basically complete, Meredith is still available whenever I've had a question about design or anything else. We highly recommend Meredith and can not thank you enough!

I can’t thank you enough for making my dreams come true ... you helped transform my kitchen and living room into more then I wished for . I am terrible at making decisions and you assisted me all the way ... I highly recommend you to anyone and can’t thank you enough for what you have done for us .... everyone who comes in to my house goes crazy over the cabinets

Meredith is amazing. With a whole house renovation ahead, I knew I would need help with designing our kitchen to say the least. Merri Interiors did an amazing job from start to finish. She has so much knowledge and will provide you with as many options as you want for any part of your project. Not only is she extremely professional and good at what she does, she has a great personality which makes the whole process so much easier and less overwhelming. She helped us with our entire kitchen design, she was there for every step and also worked very well with our contractor. She gave me the kitchen of my dreams and was able to incorporate all the small little details I wanted for our family of 5. I would unreservedly recommend Merri Interiors to anyone looking to create something amazing for their home. Thank you so much Meredith.

Meredith provided a very personalized approach to kitchen design. She was a great listener, eager to incorporate our ideas and preferences in developing a kitchen plan which we would be happy with. She brought to this process her depth of knowledge, experience, and artistic vision. She met with us as many times as we wanted to discuss and update the plan. She provided guidance and information in whatever areas we requested. She communicated well, was extremely accessible by phone and text, and was reliable. We are delighted with our new kitchen.

PHENOMENAL experience from start to finish! Meredith is incredible to work with! She made it an important part of the process to discuss all project needs and wants with us! She is patient and understanding and so extremely knowledgeable! She designed a kitchen to meet the needs of our very busy and large family while incorporating my dreams of beautifying it! Now I have a STUNNING and ELOQUENT kitchen that makes me want to NEVER leave it!!!!!

I honestly can’t say enough nice things about Merri Interiors. From beginning to end, Merri was there for me to help with nearly every decision dealing with my kitchen remodel. I chose to go with Merri because I felt as though she had an eye for detail, far more so than any other designer I had met with. Boy was I correct! She spent so much time on every single detail, often redoing the design in order to make both myself and my husband happy. I don’t think any other designer would have been as patient with me (and my husband) as she was. She literally held my hand every step of the process making it as stress free as possible. Merri was always quick to respond to my questions and came up with solutions to any problem that arose, often thinking outside of the box. Merri worked well with my contractor who was equally impressed with her knowledge, not of just design but construction as well. I am so thankful for Merri Interiors. My kitchen turned out WAY better than I could have ever imagined. So to say I’m Merri’s biggest fan would be an understatement!!!!!

I had tried, unsuccessfully, to go the route of the storefront cabinet dealers and found their creativity lackluster. Then I found Meredith of Merri Interiors and knew I was in good hands. She created a wonderful kitchen for me and had everything I needed right there at my disposal. Meredith is truly an asset to her industry. She will listen to you and create magic. Thank you.

Merri interiors designed and provided cabinets, countertops and hardware for my kitchen, dining room and living room. Meredith was a breath of fresh air. She made the design process fun and truly inspired me to make choices that would make my space stand out and reflect my style. My project is nearing completion (just awaiting several pieces of furniture) and Meredith is paid in full because her work is done, but she has remained involved and still answers texts and is as responsive as she was when she was trying to earn my business. I feel that this speaks volumes about her integrity and professionalism. I will definitely use Merri Interiors again and recommend her without hesitation.

I have always dreamed about renovating our kitchen, living room and dining room. When we finally had the opportunity, I reached out to Merri because I have been admiring her work for years. The entire process was amazing. Merri worked with us on every detail, and within our budget. Merri has cabinets in every price range and can be highly customizable. Our space is not large, and storage was very important but we also did not want to feel crammed. Merri was successful beyond our expectations with the design. We worked together on every aspect of the renovation and Merri always listened to our ideas and helped us to develop them. Merri is very creative with space, colors and overall design. We could not be happier and would work with Merri again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I have been struggling to finish the renovation of our kitchen for some time. One day, our contractor gave us the number for Meredith (owner of Merri Interiors) and thank goodness he did! Meredith came to the house for the initial consultation and took measurements of the room. She pointed out a couple of issues we should think about before we closed up our walls and she was spot on. Within days she had a layout for our kitchen. The plans were beyond what I could’ve ever imagined. When it came to picking out cabinets, hardware, counters etc., she took the jumbled mess that was in my mind and put it into perfect perspective and gave me the kitchen of my dreams. Meredith is like the energizer bunny – give her your ideas and let her go. She is extremely responsive and I never once had to wait for an answer from her. She is both incredibly talented and very organized with what seems like a never ending wealth of knowledge. Nailed everything to the last inch.

Merri Interiors has been.a pleasure to work with for the past 2 plus months. Meredith was helpful in all aspects of my kitchen remodel and design. All the vendors she recommended were great to deal with. When I had an issue with the color of my floor, she handled it with the company and all was resolved without stress. She met with the contractor to make sure all was built according to the plans. Meredith is always available to answer questions. The project is almost done and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Thank you Meredith!

As we were planning our renovations, a cousin suggested we give Merri Interiors a call. We decided to work with Meredith after our initial consultation which included her coming to our house and reviewing our architectural plans. We met with Meredith several times and were very impressed with her talent, her ability to understand our style and work within our budget. Her original design was beautiful, and when we decided to change our layout with the architect, she made adjustments immediately. We could not be happier with our new kitchen. Every detail is stunning- from the dining area buffet with floating shelves, the kitchen island, to the pantry around the refrigerator. We owe that to Meredith, guiding us through each step- choosing cabinets, flooring, appliances, backsplash, and hardware. Meredith is very knowledgeable and professional, and we recommend her highly!

Last May we started a whole house renovation and addition. A new kitchen, dinning room, a master bath and guest bath were included in the plans. With no idea where to begin when we contacted Merrideth owner of Merri Interiors after seeing the work she did on my son and daughter-in-law's house. With her knowledge and wonderful ideas she guided us through the maze of choices in cabinetry, counter tops, hardware, flooring, lighting, bath fixtures, paint schemes and much more. Without her help I doubt we would have had such a great outcome. The construction took 7 months and Merrideth worked great with our contractor to make renovation process run smoothly. I have no reservations recommending Merri Interiors to my family and friends. My wife and I could'nt be happier!!!

We worked with Merridth on remodeling our kitchen. She came into our kitchen, looked around and came up with a design that would work with our style and budget. Merridth works with you until you are completely happy with all your choices. She has a great eye for what works and knows your style by just talking to you. She's easy to work with, always answers your texts quickly no matter what your question. . She goes above and beyond to make sure your space is your dream space. We plan on using Merri interiors again on our master bath. I just loved working with her. Highly recommend Merridth, you will not be disappointed.

I began my kitchen project knowing I wanted white shaker cabinets, knowing the quartz I would use, and the appliances I would purchase. I was working within the original kitchen footprint, so the layout was pretty much predetermined. So, knowing all that I was quite baffled when a year and MANY consultations later I was still cooking in the same old kitchen! I reached out to Meredith Weiss of Merri Interiors based on the excellent reviews she received on Houzz. I hired Meredith based on an initial phone conversation and then a meeting in which it became clear that she understood the look I was trying to achieve (she asked to see all my pics saved on Houzz), the budget I was working with, and the long list of “wants” that needed to be fit into the physical restraints of the space (a galley kitchen…unfortunately no big islands going into this space). Working with Meredith was a pleasure. There was never a time that I called or texted her with a question or concern that she did not respond immediately. She knows her stuff, is organized, creative and she really listens to and understands her clients (which I think is very important). There were many kitchen designers out there that took my wish list and somehow crammed it all into my space. But I always moved on because although they gave me what I asked for, what they proposed never really looked right (though I couldn’t pinpoint why that was). I finally realized that despite all I thought I knew about what I wanted, there was much, much more I didn’t know. That is why Meredith’s advice, eye for detail, design focus, as well as a vision of the finished product were priceless! The result of her hard work is my beautiful, well-designed kitchen; a space that looks bigger and brighter, and works for me better than I could ever have imagined.

We are at the end of a 7 month gut renovation, including a significant addition to our 101 year old home. In ramping up for our kitchen design, our contractor recommended Meredith and Merri Interiors for our kitchen design and cabinet purchase. To say we are pleased with Meredith and our amazing new kitchen design would be an understatement. Meredith was professional and walked us through design issues, giving us the best possible design for our kitchen and helped us stay on budget. We could not recommend anyone more highly than Meredith. Thank you Meredith!

We did not initially intend to engage a design professional to assist with the planning of our new kitchen remodel. However, after a number of fruitless efforts at a few kitchen and bath design stores, it became clear that we needed some professional assistance if we were going to get the kitchen of our dreams without driving ourselves crazy. Fortunately, our contractor had just finished a project designed by Meredith Weiss of Merri Interiors. From the first time we met Meredith, we knew she had the skills necessary to take our initial design ideas and elevate them into something truly amazing. She listened to our ideas and offered some suggestions that, quite frankly, we never would have thought of on our own. Once we had an agreed upon plan, Meredith went to work. What she delivered was an amazing design that was consistent with our vision, but refined them into a design that was incredible. In addition, with Meredith on the job, all we had to do was make subsequent design decisions, (e.g., appliances, finishes, etc.). At every step of the process, Meredith made recommendations and guided us to choices that worked with the overall design plan but that stayed true to our original design ideas. She handled everything else, from the cabinet measurements, placing orders for materials (i.e., cabinets, tile, counter tops, drawer and cabinet hardware, etc.). Equally important, Meredith kept the project moving forward every step of the way, giving us a complete timeline for when to order each component and reminders, when necessary, to provide our choices on various finishes. Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with our kitchen or the services that Meredith provided. We have already recommended Merri Interiors to a number of our friends and we plan to use her for future projects.

What a nice experience. We felt very comfortable with Meredith from the beginning and didn’t realize how easy a remodel could be. She guided us through the process, did all the ordering, worked out any problems, and was a wealth of knowledge on designing our bathroom. We wish we would have consulted her when we did our kitchen. Even though the kitchen came out nice there were some functionality issues that she would have corrected and some headaches we would have avoided.

Working with Meredith and Merri Interiors, Inc. was a very positive experience. We could tell immediately that she was experienced and very knowledgeable. After taking the time to listen to what we wanted in a new kitchen, she made suggestions on how to improve upon that and created a design plan accordingly. She is probably the most efficient and organized professional I have worked with. She returns calls/messages promptly and makes herself available to you during the entire process. Living through a complete kitchen renovation can be very stressful but Meredith was always there to right the ship and calm us down. She is talented, enthusiastic and it is clear that she truly loves what she does. These qualities are difficult to find and are what make Merri Interiors stand out. I would definitely recommend her!

I had been planning my dream kitchen renovation for what felt like forever. I had pinned nearly every pin that showed the example of my DREAM KITCHEN. Houzz was my addiction as well. And then when the time finely came to move forward on my dream, I didn't know what to do! So I started by asking friends about contractors. I looked at online reviews for kitchen and bath firms, and finely said to myself there has to be a better way... Meredith is the better way. I found her on this website, sent an email on a Saturday morning and by Saturday afternoon, while at her kid's soccer game, she gave me a call to discuss my dreams and desires. I'm a working mom who makes decisions quickly but doesn't have the time or the expertise to know everything I don't know about kitchen renovations. Meredith made it easier. She introduced me to general contractor candidates, one of which I chose. She gave me options for cabinets, flooring, tile, handles, and everything in between. My project was stressful, but she helped me through that stress by making herself available pretty much night or day whenever I needed to go through my check list. I have already recommended Meredith to my friends and family that are considering a kitchen renovation and will continue to do so. Thanks again!

I was on the fence about hiring a designer to help me with the layout and design of my kitchen renovation and have to say it was absolutely the right choice! I started with the local showroom type places.. I gave them my dimensions, basic sketches and drawings, and picked out cabinets. After waiting two weeks, what I got in return was inferior cabinetry, my design with nothing at all added to it, no suggestions or help... and an enormous proposal price!!! I was complaining to a co-worker who was preparing for a kitchen reno herself and she recommended Merri Interiors!! From day one to the end, Meredith was a pleasure to work with. Meredith came to my home to assess my current kitchen and take a look around at my style and needs. We then started the design work. Meredith listened to me, understood and offered suggestions. I could call, text or email at any time and she was readily available or would get back to me very quickly! The products she works with are above custom high end, yet at a very affordable price! She is very energetic and a hard worker.. and a very pleasant nice person which is a bonus!! But the best part about Merri Interiors and Meredith is that she brings a special skill set and knowledge to the plans that other designers just don't have. She understands the building and install piece! Meredith met with my general contractor, and my carpenters on several occasions to review aspects of the design and how it would tie to carpentry and install. They spoke a language I couldn't understand. Things no on would have thought of. In the end, I have the kitchen of my dreams!! No surprises along the way. Merri Interiors - THANK YOU! I very highly recommend Merri Interiors! You will not be disappointed.

Merri Interiors is a 5-Start firm all the way! The creative design, thoughtful space planning and achievement in meeting budget goals are just a few of the reasons why I have hired them again to work on another project for me in my new home. They carefully plan, design and collaborate with me on every project I engage them for and always exceed my expectations. They are highly communicative, always available to answers questions and provide a very customized experience for me. I could not say enough about the quality of their work. I have used them to design a living room, den, master bedroom, guest room, dining room, and wrapping room (yes, the ultimate dream!) and refresh some accessories and decor. I endorse them without hesitation. Go for it!!

Meredith did an amazing job. I reached out to her after finding her here on Houzz. I was planning a complete kitchen remodel and I had been trying to do it on my own. I figured I could go to one of the big cabinet places and have them do the design for me for free. However, the problem was that they were doing exactly what I told them to do, and I didn't know what the heck I was doing! I'd say "Let's try an island" and they'd add it and I'd look at it and realize it totally didn't work. And that happened over and over. So I decided to hire a designer. I initially intended to just have Meredith do the design for me. She came and looked at my current kitchen, reviewed all of the previous attempts I had made at a design, and we discussed how I utilized the kitchen and adjoining room. Very quickly she had given me a design, and with a few tweaks it was perfect. Even better, after doing more research, I realized that her cabinet and countertop prices were as good as the other places and the quality was better. I ended up giving her my business for that as well. She remained helpful and approachable throughout, advising my contractor on a few things he needed to know. She helped me with my appliance choices and gave her input on the tile I chose. All throughout she added little bits of her excellent advice and wonderful experience. I could not be more thrilled with my kitchen, and with my experience with Merri Interiors. I referred a friend to her just the other day! Even now, months later, I still sit in my gorgeous, wonderfully functional kitchen and look at it in awe, hardly believing that it's mine. Thank you, Meredith!

I have work with merri for years now and amazed at how she knows how to take a room or a kitchen and turn it into a work of art . She is always up to date with the trends and materials of today, but most of all she listens to her clients needs, taste, and budget to get a happy result every time . I recommend her highly . A true professional all around. A. M. Tile

I first starting using Meredith from Merri Interiors when I was looking to update my kitchen without replacing the cabinets. When I first met Meredith, we clicked and got along great right away. I felt as if I had known her for years. She listens to what you want, your ideas and guides you in the right direction. Meredith has a great personality and is extremely professional. She is not just an interior designer – she is extremely knowledgeable in all phases of home construction and renovations. She helped me pick out new floor tile, backsplash tile, paint and even knobs. I have continued to used Meredith repeatedly over the past few years. One time I remember I called her up frantic and told her my husband wanted me to pick out paint right away because the painter was coming in the morning. I couldn’t make a decision and we were not agreeing on anything. Meredith came over first thing in the morning and we found a color that was perfect. This is a true testament that she cares and truly wants to help. She has a passion for her work and it shows in everything she does. Meredith is very easy to work with and deals with all types of budgets. Whether you need someone to take on the project from start to finish, or just to go shopping with you– Meredith does it all. I highly recommend Meredith and Merri Interiors without a doubt!

I met with Meredith when I was planning to remodel my kitchen. She was very personable and funny, but most of all, knowledgeable about cabinets and designing. She showed me several "idea boards" that she made for previous clients and I looked forward to working with her on my project. Meredith tried to stay within my budget while trying to fulfill my wishes. She is extremely intelligent when working with the Brighton company cabinets. She met with me several times to discuss the color, layout and extras pertaining to the cabinetry. In the end, we went with a custom color and we worked together to create the perfect layout for my kitchen. Meredith will do as much or as little as you want. If you want her to help you design the cabinetry, she will, however, she will also meet with you to help you pick out granite/quartz, a backsplash, lighting, etc. She was easily accessible and we texted back and forth all the time during the planning and renovation. Meredith was not only an intelligent designer, but a pleasure to work with. In the end, I love the finished product!

My husband and I originally hired Merri from Merri Interiors to help us with design choices for our new kitchen that we were getting ready to start. We immediately felt comfortable with her, so much so that when our relationship with our cabinet maker came to an abrupt end we turned to Merri. She helped us design the entire kitchen/mudroom/pantry/.5 bath from cabinets to floor tile to backsplash to knobs. Every step of the way Merri was available to either offer advice or to go shopping with me. She spent countless hours working with us to make sure it was everything we dreamed of. My biggest fear was that it would look like everyone else's kitchen and she made sure it didn't. She was very good at understanding what our taste is and helped us find compromises when my husband and I couldn't agree. I found the entire project was less stressful because of Merri, not counting the contractor part, that was very stressful. Merri is very easy to talk to and very easy to reach. She always explained what was expected of me and what our timeline was. All aspects that she worked on were at my house exactly if not before they were needed. She also spoke with the contractor and any subs when needed to make sure they were doing what needed to be done to get us to our "design" I would definitely recommend Merri!!

Brilliant designer! She was easy to work with, listened to my goals for our design project and stayed within budget. She's energetic and incredibly detail oriented. She is fluent in 'measurements!' Meredith understands space planning, how to bring a vision to life and how to help her clients get what they really want. Between the custom pieces and repurposing some existing pieces I had, she put together a room that exceeded my expectations! She rrly helped me to see all the possibilities that exsisted for my space. Can't go wrong with Merri Interiors!!

Merri Interiors was recommended by a friend. Redesigned master bedroom and bathroom as well as a separate office. Very professional, responsible, responsive, reliable, technical and proposed creative solutions. A pleasure to work with! Plan to utilize services again.

After meeting with Merri we hired her on the spot. She was wonderful. We really had no idea what we wanted to do and Merri just listened to what we said and then gave us ideas. We were thinking about just changing cabinets in the kitchen and she redesigned the kitchen and new bathroom as well. We also had new flooring in the foyer kitchen and bathroom which came out beautiful. We are extremely happy with the way everything came out. We had a pass through from the kitchen into the den that Meredith wanted to enlarge I wasn't so sure but listened to her and it came out great. Merri also came in budget with everything she estimated. She was wonderful to work with, no pressure and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Merri Interiors exceeded our expectations in designing and building our new kitchen. She took the time to understand us, our lifestyle, our goals, our likes and dislikes and ensured every single detail was considered in the design. Although the remodeling process itself is never fun, the team made it as minimally disruptive as possible and set realistic expectations for timelines, so we knew exactly what was going to happen and when. Every person on the team was highly committed to ensuring perfection. The result of great planning, a great design and great execution: we've had our dream kitchen for well over a month now and there is not a single thing we would change, nor a thing that was overlooked. It is both a stunning showplace and a wonderful, functional workspace. We are thrilled with it, and we know that no other company could have delivered the result and the experience that we got. I highly recommend Merri Interiors.

Merri Interiors created a fabulous design for our kitchen when we had to rebuild our home after Sandy. Meredith gave us guidance, suggestions, and answers to my many questions. She provided us assistance in choosing and ordering a sink; knobs for my cabinet doors; deciding on a counter top; advice for my dinning table and light fixtures… even though this went beyond the initial contract for a kitchen layout/design. (She understood that we were going through a very difficult, stressful time.) After the kitchen project was underway, we also had Meredith design a vanity for the master bathroom, which was a large space. It turned out amazing! Meredith contacted suppliers and provided us samples. I love, love, love everything she did (mostly my kitchen since I enjoy cooking and entertaining—I spend lots of time in it)!!! When people enter our home, the kitchen is one of the first things they see (open floor plan). Their reaction is, “Wow, your kitchen is gorgeous! It looks like a picture from a magazine.” (THANKS MERRI!) Meredith made me feel at ease and listened to what I wanted. She was so helpful and spent extra time and effort on our project. Working with her was a very pleasurable, friendly experience. Ultimately, Meredith gave us a design that matched our vision. I would use Merri Interiors for future projects and would highly recommend their services!!

merri interiors, inc recently completed a large project in my home that included a kitchen, dining room, and den...(an open floor plan)...Right from the start she listened to what I liked (or thought I liked) and based on that she began to create what turned out to be an incredible main level of our home...She handled everything and was on top of it all...she made the required phone calls to the various suppliers (ie cabinet makers, fixture companies, appliance stores etc) and was available at my home when there was a delivery. Throughout the entire project she listened to any thoughts or concerns we had and always worked within the budget that we felt comfortable with. When Merri started working with us the one thing i remember telling her was that I wanted one room to just flow into the other and she certainly did that...she mixed patterns, textures and colors which looks amazing. I never could have come close to creating the look we have now without her!!!! I would recommend Merri Interiors to anyone!

We initially engaged Merri Interiors for our kitchen renovation. After beginning work with Meredith Weiss on that project we quickly expanded the scope of our project with her to include a bathroom renovation, a mudroom (laundry/office/storage) design and interior design guidance on certain elements in our living, dining and family rooms. We had very specific expectations for our new kitchen design: above all it had to maximize the existing space to provide as much utility and functionality as possible while visually meeting our very defined preferences related to style, color and "vibe". Meredith's design, as well as her lightning-fast responsiveness to all questions or concerns, exceeded our expectations. We cook nightly and elaborately in our kitchen, and are still trying to figure out how Meredith defied the laws of physics by giving us a kitchen space that feels much more spacious than what we had before without increasing the footprint of the kitchen and, at our request, even added a wall to close off the kitchen from the adjacent family room! In addition to providing the best design possible for the space, Meredith also guided us closely in the purchase of the major components of the kitchen (granite, appliances, flooring, tile, cabinetry). All of these items came together like a symphony and right on target with our budget. We just love living in our kitchen! We are also very happy with our bathroom and mudroom, both provide the functionality we needed and the "eye candy" we wanted!

We used Merri Interiors to renovate our kitchen. The overall design from the cabinets to the floors and everything in between came out even better than I even imagined. Meredith brought every idea up to a level I could have not done on my own. It was also much less stressful to have someone help you pick everything out. Working with her was a great experience and I will be using her again for future projects.

Merri completed this new house construction project with no problems. They provided all the cabinetry, design and installation. I have the utmost respect and I recommend Merri Interior to all my customers. They complete the project with no issues on time and on budget. I intend to continue using on all future projects.

Merri Interiors created an amazing design of my kitchen and bath. It was a total transformation of the original layout. The end product came out more than I expected. Both rooms are more spacious and afforded me with a lot more storage. Everyone who walks in my house cannot believe the difference it made in my living space. Most of all Merri listened to my wants and needs and designed what I was looking for within my budget. Her attention to details made the space even more beautiful. I highly recommend Merri Interiors for your next project design.

Merri Interiors has worked with A Direct Distributor Corp and DirectSinks.com in the past on kitchen projects. Her interior design skills and energy shined through while working with our kitchen designer. Merri is extremely professional and maintained an excellent relationship with her clients, as well as with us through out the entire project. If you are looking for an energetic interior designer who knows her stuff, Merri is it!

My husband and I don't make decision easily, so when we finally decided to remodel our master bathroom we knew we'd need some help. We employed Merri Interiors, upon a recommendation from a friend and Merri was our knight in shining armor. She walked us through every step of the process clearly helping and guiding us through all the decisions we needed to make. Along the way Merri made terrific suggestions and had fabulous creative ideas, many of which we we did. What was so fantastic about her was she listened to us, she figured out really quickly what our tastes were, where we needed to be from a budget standpoint, and seamless fit in with the two of us to get it done. Merri has the perfect balance of patience and push needed to get folks like me and my husband motivated and keeping it moving. She was really flexible in her approach and did what was right for us. She made sure we got what we wanted and then some. Our bathroom is absolutely fantastic and a pleasure to be in everyday. We couldn't have gotten there without her, I highly recommend using her for your next kitchen or bathroom project.

We had a nightmare kitchen, but now we have the kitchen of our dreams-- thanks to Merri. We are very happy and relieved that we used Merri as our designer! Merri's honest, straightforward approach to our questions and needs gave us the peace of mind we needed to make the right decisions for the project. Merri instilled a level of confidence by being a great listener, and helped us decipher our own needs/wants, as well as helped us solve some design challenges. She listened to our requests, and when she knew we were "off base" on what we wanted, Merri clearly explained why it wouldn't work but offered fabulous alternatives. Her suggestions and plans produced the perfect kitchen for us. Every professional Merri introduced us to was just as skilled —from the contractor to the granite yard. Because of Merri's knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, positive attitude, and great personality, our kitchen looks fantastic and we could not be happier. Everybody who comes to see our remodel has the same reaction, WOW! We’re sure it is something we will enjoy and be proud of for years to come....

In the past twelve months, I undertook a major renovation of my home. This was the first time I was involved in a project of this size. The project called for a gut renovation of a majority of the house (while my three sons and I continued to live in the home). This included a complete redesign of the entire first floor (kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom) which involved the removal of a major load bearing wall. We also gut renovated the master bath (adding a laundry closet) and a hall bath on the second floor while redesigning the master bedroom and all common areas of the house. Merri's knowledge of floor layout and modern design concepts allowed for a project with a number of unique twists to come together on time and within the original budget. Merri was flexible in providing advice and guidance on the project while also being careful to incorporate my ideas. She has the ability to take the thoughts/concepts of a client and turn them into reality in the project. My experience is this is not a universal ability for all designers. She was always sure to listen to my requests and take the time to point out the issues these requests can have on the project including timing and budget ramifications. Finally, Merri worked well with a number of subs on the job to be sure that they were following her design concept while the project advanced from the rip out to finish stages. I was highly impressed with her and I continued to use her expertise on the finish work including color design, drapery suggestions as well as furniture and carpeting choices. I enthusiastically recommend Merri for your project.
