Shari know so much about all the tricky parts of design - such as where to put venting for hood fans, which design layout best suits my clients kitchen and bathrooms, the best quartz for the job, etc.. Shari Dorr provide the complete design, material procurement, and professional contractors to complete a redesign of a seniors centre. Most importantly Shari always communicated with and worked with the needs and perceived needs of a difficult group of seniors. (cost over $100,000) Shari also completed a complete master bathroom remodel for our home. Her service took the stress out of the job by providing samples and once we made the choices all plumbing, floor, counter tops and cabinets were on location prior to the start of the project. This allowed be completed expertly and without any delays. all sub-trades were experts in there field. (cost $30,000)

Had a great experience with this project, renovating my home. Kitchen bathroom master bed and den. Was listened to, walked into the lighting stores, and worked around my work schedule. Easy to talk to ,discuss the project etc..and i would work with Open Dorr Design again.

Shari Dorr (Open Dorr Custom Renovation) was recommended to me when I moved in to my townhouse and wanted to do some renovations. These included tearing down a kitchen wall, re-doing the floor, counter, backsplash, sink. Some plumbing was required. We also took down the ceilings and put in sound insulation, pot lights, outlets as well as other miscellaneous improvements. Shari provided a detailed budget in advance which I appreciated as I needed to stay within reason. Additional work was done that increased the final cost but most things were close to budget. I was very, very pleased with the quality of the work. My kitchen and floors are beautiful and Shari helped choose appropriate materials and colours. She was always available to discuss progress and kept in touch when challenges arose ( as they always do). Most importantly, I was on a very tight timeline before move-in and everything got done in time. Good experience!

We had Sherri design and manage 2 bathroom renos for us. She was extremely professional and was able to provide us with exactly what we needed. She had many good design ideas to help us through the process and was always available, listening to our ideas also. She did not go over budget, finished on time and we were very pleased with the results, and still are, three years later. We continue to get many compliments.
