I am a cabinet maker and I have worked on many projects that Ione has designed. I have to say that she is a very creative designer and passionate about her work. She's also always respectful to her clients. She is easy to work with and promptly answers any design questions that I have about the cabinets. Ione was recommended to me by a neighbor - who had also had her complete some design work. When I saw the results of that job - I knew I wanted to work with her. She provided up front design work, and really spent the time to understand what I was looking for in a design. She also offered "project management" of the job - which was great for me, since it is a second home for us. We took a 1970's bathroom and closet space and converted it to a master bath - and also had her extend into the master bedroom. The final work is exactly what the design showed. She brought in contractors and tradesmen that did excellent work. We will definitely use Ione on future projects!

Ione at Paradise Interior Design helped me design an entire make-over for my beach house. She drew up plans for where everything should go, made suggestions on how to rearrange the rooms' layouts and change the traffic flow, revised window and sliding door sizes, designed kitchen and bath configuration, cabinets, etc. She has a great eye for 3 dimensional space. She presented plans that were easy to understand and visualize. I told her the feeling and style I wanted to capture and she did it all beautifully. I worked with Ione for over 8 months and she was always there, managing the workers, helping me select new materials including tile, stone, hardwood, fixtures, cabinets, pendents, lighting, appliances, etc and has a great eye for color. Her cost estimates were realistic and billing was straigtforward. She presented some innovations I would have never thought of. She has a great set of resources to draw from. All her sub-contractors were supurb. I highly recommend Ione for any and all remodeling projects.

Wonderful experience! Services and products exceeded all of my expectations. Ione helped me chose a few patterns for a custom headboard, window coverings and bedskirt that met both mine and my husbands taste. We are very satisfied! I cannot say enough good things about IoneVictoria of Paradise Interior Design! As I write this, I'm admiring my beautifully renovated / decorated kitchen and dining area. After a disappointing experience with a contractor, I called IoneVictoria who took over the project creating a fresh and vibrant design! She took time to listen to what I wanted, added her own expertise, and pulled together the finished product. The end result far exceeded my imagination and expectations!! We purchased a condo that was in extremely bad condition. We had the great fortune of discovering Paradise Design from their website. Ione met with us onsite and it was clear immediately that we had contacted the right company.Our project involved redoing a foreclosed condo in poor shape into a contemporary beach condo. We had a lot of vague ideas on what we wanted to do but Ione was able to establish a plan that clarified and consolidated our ideas while working within our budget and timeframe. She has a very creative (yet practical) mind, a wealth of skilled craftspeople to draw from, a great deal of experience in design, and a keen attention to detail.The completed condo exceeds our expectations as does the excellent work of Paradise Interior Design. We contracted with Ione and Paradise Interiors out of complete frustration. We happened upon her shop, noticed the quality fixtures and accompaniments, and her total expertise of interior decorating. Ione worked on two projects for me. I did a complete gut and remodel of my kitchen, dining room, bar, and great room in 2008. Ione asks the right questions, listens, then comes up with brilliant and creative ideas. She doesn't force her opinion upon others; rather she suggest solutions that incorporate the Client's comfort level with her excellent sense of Style. She even actually made me think that it was all my idea - but I am not creative or clever enough to pull off what she did. We just finished up another project - staircase and railings. Ione has a solid network of subcontractors who take pride in their work. Even so, she closely monitors the design, quality, and schedule of her projects. She is proactive and doesn't leave anything to chance. High quality, imaginative, great sense of style.

Ione was sensitive to our needs, our quirks and our budget and has filled our lives with beauty since we first met her. After such a wonderful success in Rio del Mar we also asked her to assist with a complete remodel in our Portola Valley home. We've been totally pleased with EVERYTHING she's done for us.
