The preRenovation consultations with the owner of Positive Additions were extremely encouraging. We were told our kitchen renovation would be completed before the Thanksgiving holiday cooking needed to begin. The kitchen was finished on 2/20/2015 after considerable frustration. The workers didn't show up for work before 10:30 after they gutted the kitchen. I should say, they showed up for work no earlier than 10:30 on the few days a week they did show up. The last three weeks of the renovation the workers expected each day they showed up to be their last day on the job even though the cabinets were left rough and poorly painted. Each time we voiced a complaint about the finished work, like no shoe molding or upper-cabinet trim that we were verbally told was a part of the original bid, the finished price of the remodel jumped another $1000. We even paid for an appliance garage, an extra ceiling cam light, and a leaded-glass window that were not installed. Over all, I would not recommend this company unless you have limitless funds and time, and are satisfied with inferior workmanship.
