A professional we respected in the construction industry referred Principle Design and Construction to us for our kitchen and bathroom remodel project. I checked out their Houzz reviews and was excited to see that they earned 5 stars on every review! Now that our own project is completed, we add our enthusiastic 5 stars as well! Ojini is a creative and innovative designer. She took our 1986 kitchen and redesigned it to give us amazingly more space, cupboards, and a truly functional room that makes cooking a joy again. She added so many of her personal touches that it is an outstanding example of "designer quality" as opposed to typical tract home. Jack and Ojini oversaw each step in the process and gave us the sense of security that everything was being done properly. Their crews were magnificent, professional, reliable, and friendly. There were several times when we traveled out of the area during the demolition and reconstruction process and we fully trusted that everything would be done correctly in our absence. A special shout-out to Robert, the cabinet maker, who is a perfectionist and built the cupboards that are incredible looking and functioning. Ojini and Robert took on several challenging areas and problem-solved to give us even more space. Thank you to Principle Design and Construction and we would give 20 stars if we could!

Having seen the work that Principle Design & Construction had done in the homes of our friends, we did not look further when our condo needed to be completely remodeled. Because our primary residence is in another state, all decisions were made via meetings on facetime or e-mail correspondence. This worked amazingly well. We were also sent samples of products for our consideration. We were enthusiastically guided through the entire process by Ojini, the designer. Principle Design & Construction has a network of subcontractors that are superb craftsmen. The end result is fantastic!!!

There are not enough adjectives to describe the incredible work that Principle Design did remodeling our home. Jack and Ojini are remarkable! My husband and I had different ideas as to what we wanted and our vision for our families comfort. Ojini listened to our needs and in turn used her creative insight to turn our entire living space into a spectular, warm and inviting home. Jack's expansive knowledge as a contractor made everything effortless. Their sub-contractors have worked with them for years and that is a testament to the quality of work they provide for their clients and the dedication of a staff who trusts them in return. They provided exact scheduling via-email for us on a daily basis, as well as texting the information. We knew when and what contractors would be arriving and working in our home. Each contractor was respectful of us living in our home while working. Daily, Ojini or Jack would arrive to inspect the progress. When we were told work would begin at 8 am, they arrived at 7:55 am. When we were told a start and completion date. Principle Design delivered. The best part was I did not have to lift a finger! Everything from the very last detail was handled by Jack, Ojini and their staff. We are hiring them to remodel our upstairs and all additional work for the future. Never will we use any other construction and design firm other than Principle Design. They put the "P" in premier quality construction, design and most importantly the warm and professional comfort they brought as individuals to turning our home into a sanctuary for our family-Bravo, Jack and Ojini!

I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years and had mostly good experiences. However Principal Design and Construction is truly a cut above all the rest. During the design process, Ojini really took time to understand how we used the kitchen and to get a sense of our taste. She was prompt and gave us many options. She put together a quote and made everything very clear. More impressive, the job came in for the price quoted. She is a good listener and worked hard to make our vision a reality. During the construction phase, her husband Jack gave us a realistic schedule and stuck to it. We were in constant communication. Jack and Ojini have very high standards and held all of the subs to them. I couldn't be more happy with our working relationship. The kitchen is everything we hoped for and more. We can't wait for the opportunity to work with them again.

I worked with Principle Design & Construction on a pretty significant kitchen remodel. From the minute that I began working with Ojini, I could tell she was extremely organized and professional. She is also a very talented designer--I showed her some inspirational photos to give her an idea of what I wanted and she really "got it" and ran with it and helped me make it something unique and my own. It was also extremely easy to pick everything out--from the backsplash, to the lighting, plumbing fixtures, etc. Ojini would get an idea of what I wanted and bring over some samples for me to choose from. The only component I needed to go out to choose was a slab for the center island countertop and even that, Ojini really simplified by narrowing the selection for me to choose so that we were able to get in and out in half an hour. She would also suggest unique finishing touches such as a beautiful custom stove hood that really stands out as a centerpiece in the kitchen. The subcontractors that she uses were also very professional and kept the place as clean and put together as possible during the renovation--and Ojini also monitors them closely. Any little hiccup that does come up, she is always on top of and it gets worked out quickly and really goes the extra mile to get it fixed. (For example, I left my garage door open one day to allow the workers to go in and out easily and a swarm of bees somehow flew into the garage. Ojini called me to let me know so that I could get out an exterminator asap and made sure that all doors to the house were sealed off so the bees didn't get into the house.) We also have young kids, so it was critical for me that the work gets done on time because I have heard nightmare renovation stories that drag on for an extended period. Ojini understood this need and worked hard to make sure it happened. In the end, all work was completed in the promised timeframe. And the end result is gorgeous and uniquely ours! We absolutely LOVE our new kitchen and I still smile every morning when I come downstairs and see it. I would highly recommend Principle Design & Construction.

From the beginning of the project to the end of the project, we could not have been more thrilled with Ojini and Jack's professionalism, attention to quality, design and detail, budget and deadlines. Ojini and Jack made our visions into a reality without the usual pains of a remodel project. And above all, our bathrooms are absolutely stunning! They are innovative, functional and beautiful. We found Principle Design and Construction (PDI) great to work with especially Ojini. She was extremely helpful and patient in guiding us to the decisions we needed to make with regard to our remodel. When we had a problem with the work of one of the subcontracts, PDI stepped in and the issue was resolved to our satisfaction. The final product was excellent and we are extremely happy with the work.
