Revealing Redesign

We would rate Erin and her team a 10 if possible! We have recently downsized and needed Erin's expertise in pulling our living/dining area together along with our rooftop deck. We could not be happier with the spaces. The spaces are inviting and absolutely fabulous. Erin's vision and incorporation of our art pieces and furniture was beyond our imagination. You will NOT be disappointed with working with Erin and team.

I had never worked with a designer before until now, so I was a bit apprehensive. Immediately upon meeting Erin, I felt at ease. She explained the process and took the time to get to know me and my taste so that she could truly reflect who I am in my furnishings. Couldn’t be happier with the way my living room looks now!

There were so many decisions to be made! Having her experienced design input alleviated the decision-making stress and saved from me from costly mistakes. Having her sense of style and balance was also valuable and as process went along, Erin was always thoughtful of my budget and my personal taste! It was a pleasure to work with Erin on my first floor renovation.

Thanks to Erin and her team, I now have the kitchen of my dreams! Erin brought great ideas and restraint, reeling me in when I got off track and providing resources and perspectives that wouldn't have occurred to me. I know my vision was a little different from what most want in a kitchen but Erin was able to provide the structure and insight that I needed. Erin Cochran is a decorating gem. She is extremely talented, patient, creative, and knowledgeable. She listened carefully to our needs even when we weren’t sure what they were or we didn’t always see eye-to-eye on what was possible. Her tactful way of questioning and giving a variety of suggestions helped us focus to get to the desired end product. We love our home and we love her. This decorating project included changing the garage loft into a bedroom, renovating a bathroom and a powder room, adding a bathroom, plus a second-floor addition to the house which involved doubling the size of the study and adding a walk-in master bedroom closet. I got the names of several highly recommended decorators/designers and planned to interview three. Erin was the first. We immediately liked her and didn’t bother to interview any others. I initially questioned whether we would be spending too much money on a year-long contract but it was a bargain. What faucet did I want? What finish? There were just too many decisions to be made and neither of us had the time nor inclination to shop for each one. She brought pictures, gave us the pros and cons of each, and helped us make quick decisions. For small things, we just let her decide because we trusted her. For big decisions, we went on multiple shopping trips together to pick out tile and furniture. When the addition was added and the walls and furniture were in place, she brought carloads of accessories so we could make choices in the actual space instead of guessing what it might look like. Erin worked seamlessly with our architect’s plans and our builder. We’re not sure how she acquired her knowledge but she knew a lot about building materials and our wonderful builder had a lot of respect for her and her ideas. She knew where we could cut corners on expenses and where we might want to splurge a little. She used what we currently had whenever possible and found a way to give it new life. I signed up with Erin to do "Redesign in a Day" . After meeting with her and discussing my needs and wants... she came in a day and did her "design" magic... Erin did an outstanding job as our primary home design consultant in a significant kitchen and family room resldesign. We were lucky to be referred to Revealing Redesign for our house renovation project - they have been truly amazing ! Erin and Annette make a fantastic team and have been a pleasure to work with. We bought a ‘fixer upper’ which has been completely transformed by Erin’s amazing design sense. I have worked with Erin several times over the last 6 years. Our first project was a redo of our master bath, followed by a kitchen, family room and morning room makeover. Now 5 years later, Erin is updating the rest of my house to stage for resale when the time is right. It has been 5 years since my kitchen Reno, and I still look think of them as newly done. The design is timeless and Erin’s attention to the small details is what brings beauty and warmth to the space. Fast forward to our current project where Erin is again bringing amazing results to each room she touches. She has turned a basement from a kids play space to an inviting, play space for both adults and kids. What was smply “the basement” is now a cozy continuation of my home. Erin has a true gift when it comes to designing spaces. She puts accessories, colors, furniture, etc together in a way that breathes new life into our house and hits out aesthetic perfectly. Erin makes the ordinary, extraordinary. She is a remarkable talent and is a joy to work with. No matter how large or small your project is, you would be in good hands here. I had never considered using a designer before, but we really wanted to make a good impression when selling our house. The realtor recommended we use Erin to do room staging. Wow - what a difference! Erin and her helper Annette showed up ready to work with storage totes, baskets, and a heaping helping of great suggestions. (Believe me, I took lots of notes!) I gave them free reign to all our things from furniture to art workto cabinet contents. The change in all our rooms was just amazing. Every space looked so polished when they were finished. Erin made all our objects look "HGTV" quality, the rooms inviting, and all the spaces in the house flowed thematically. As an artist, I thought I knew about layouts and colors. Erin's talent for furniture placement, room organization, and accent colors was just the touch we needed to make our spaces shine. She was also very helpful with suggestions for items such as lamps, flowers, and plants. You can be sure you are getting your money's worth with Revealing Design! Erin at Revealing Redesign did an amazing job! She spent lots of time really listening to what we wanted (a unique space to be used as a mudroom, aviary, auxiliary kitchen and laundry room that we wanted to be beautiful, as well) and the result is now both the loveliest room in our home and the most versatile. We are thrilled!

What I liked best about working with Erin of Revealing Redesign on a makeover of my great room was her ability to combine my vision with her talent. Now, in the morning when I sit in the room drinking my coffee, I literally sigh with joy at the result. Before meeting Erin, the idea of working with a decorator felt intimidating. Erin, however, is anything but. She accesses impeccable taste as she employs a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to design. For our final session, Erin pulled up in my driveway with a car full of accessories and proceeded to layer them with my personal treasures in a way that was nothing short of brilliant. From start to finish, Erin honored my aesthetic as well as the constraints of my budget. Her passion, skill and flexibility made my experience with Revealing Redesign everything I’d hoped it would be. Next, it’s on to transforming my 90’s bathroom into a spa retreat.
