Susan is indeed the consummate Professional. We met with her in our newly purchased home to discuss our total renovation project in November 2020. She promptly developed the schematics for our home. She has an excellent work ethic, and never disappointed us- always present, and always followed up immediately. Her designs exceeded our expectations, and she made it easy for our selections as she brought everything to us for our final decision. All this during the pandemic! Because of her effort we were able to visualize all materials in our space which was definitely helpful. Through Susan’s trade connections, she coordinated the entire renovation, even meeting with the various contractors on site to ensure our desired outcome. Susan listened to our open concept look we wanted as we eliminated three major walls and opened up for our large living space to accommodate for a kitchen with large island, dining area and relaxing, living room. She also suggested and had built a custom, reclaimed wood mantle and kitchen hood that ended up exceeding our expectations. We had a specific budget for spending and Susan helped us wisely use our resources for the right pieces. She was well acquainted with local, small furniture stores that had pieces we would not have found on our own. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Susan for about 17 yrs and she has helped me with many small projects, an addition and recently a full house gut and remodel. She is very detail oriented and professional. For my husband and me the remodel was at times an overwhelming task but Susan help guide in the right direction while making our tastes and needs a priority She worked well with our contractor and all of the subs making sure everything was done right and if we had any issues she was quick to address them. Susan was so easy to work with. She was not too pushy with her ideas and allowed me to insert my own tastes very easily. We incorporated some old family treasures into the new design.

I hired Susan to help me design our 1300 sq. foot basement and she did an amazing job. She did the drawings for the contractors, picked all the materials such as paint, tile, carpet, trims, etc. She also selected custom furniture for a pool table room, guest bedroom and office. The basement also had a full kitchen and gym and she designed every element of these rooms. She was very easy to work with, considerate of our budget and amazing at designing to our tastes. I later hired her for some smaller projects and again when we moved from the big house. She helped us use the furniture we had to fit in the smaller scale house by recovering and identifying which pieces would go best in each room.

I have worked with Susan for several years. She is a very talented and creative designer. I have recommended her to many people and no one has been disappointed. She is always on time and within budget.

Susan is wonderful, fabulous with paint colors. She has worked on both large and small projects in my home, from a complete kitchen remodel with new appliances, adding a large island, and hardwood floors to simply picking out and arranging items to freshen up my living room. She is pleasant, has impeccable taste, and will do as much or as little of a project as you want. She has earned my highest recommendation!

Susan Johnson provided excellent, straightforward assistance to us during our master bath remodel project in January 2015. Her expertise in helping lay out the bath design combined with her keen design sense helped us formulate and execute the design plan. Susan spent time with us selecting tile, fixtures, granite, lighting and mirrors. Her help was invaluable! I cannot recommend Susan highly enough.
