My elusive dream came true... thanks to Robin and her excellent contractor! We bought an old Maine cottage 5 years ago. It had a lovely ocean view but was pretty run down and had a dark, nightmare little kitchen from the Twenties. I like to fix up old houses, but for 5 years was stumped by this kitchen... until Robin came along! She seemed undaunted by the challenge and suggested we keep the “camp” appeal of the kitchen but make it functional and larger. She went right to work with us... leading us , but very open to our thoughts and wishes. Her contractor, Jason, was able to skillfully rebuild the old space into a delightful shell to house the beautiful new cabinets, countertops, lighting and etc., which combined to create a bright, appealing kitchen and even include a really nice eating space, while maintaining the character of the old cottage. Robin was very helpful to us, and communicative all along the way, and pushed hard to get the project finished in time for our Springtime return. ( she oversaw the renovation while we were back in our Midwestern winter home). Both my husband and I like and trust Robin, are thrilled with our “new” kitchen, and highly recommend her!

Robin did an exceptional job in the design of our kitchen renovation. She took our vision and laid out a design that met our needs perfectly, Robin managed every aspect of the project in a professional manner and with great communication every step of the way. We have been in our new kitchen for six months and couldn't be happier with the results.

Yes, a kitchen/bath renovation can be fun and go smoothly! And you can come out of it loving the whole upgrade. And you can look back on the experience thankful that the designer is a gifted professional who was a delight to work with. A year and a half ago we completely redid the kitchen and all 3 baths of the house we built 25 years ago. Robin is great to work with, accessible, responsive, happy to listen to ideas and concerns. Chad Cram is a prize too. Our kitchen is stunning, is easier to cook and entertain in, has more storage, makes an immediate impression. It has a calm, centering feeling about it. It's easier to keep tidy. The 3 baths are lovely. Just this weekend 2 couples who were houseguests commented on how they both loved the guest bathroom design where you can see the woods and the snow falling while standing in the fabulous shower. The master bath is lovely and beautifully designed. Robin Amorello came highly recommended by friends in the area who had worked with her several years ago. We interviewed a number of designers before we picked Robin. She was such an excellent choice!

Robin's design for our new master bath answered our needs perfectly. Not only is there a place for everything but it is where it needs to be and is easy to keep clean. Robin listened to what we wanted and worked to find everything we asked for. As a result we got the functionality and it stands out visually as well. The cost for her design work was well worth it. Our design was pretty complex and all the pieces fit. Issues always arise in any project but she was right on them and responded quickly to calls. Robin's design accomplished everything we asked for. We also found the general contractor Robin works with to be the most honest and considerate contractor we've ever worked with.

Robin did an amazing job of designing and managing the renovation of a summer house kitchen and bathroom. I was in North Carolina and when I returned in July, I had a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom.

Robin designed our kitchen. We were trying to work within the given space and add a mudroom. She was a pleasure to work with and offered guidance on every detail, right down to the sink faucet. It was wonderful to have someone doing "all the leg work" as the project unfolded. We plan on hiring her again for our bathrooms.

Robin was able to come up with a great design for our two relatively small bathrooms, something we'd been trying to do for years! She was sensitive to our preferences with materials and was very helpful in narrowing the choices. And we were very happy with all the trades people she arranged for the project. A great experience!

We are extremely pleased with the bath and kitchen Robin designed for us. The kitchen is exceptional. Not only does it look great, but is is far more functional than the one it replaces. It has a flow that is comfortable and the elements work well together. The master bath is also a huge improvement. The house was well built in the early 1960's and the renovations area worthy of the original and a pleasure to live in. Finally, Robin's project management skills are first rate the general contractor she recommended was a skilled craftsman, a capable coordinator and pleasure to have in our house.

Our summer home needed an update. Built 40 years ago, the kitchen and bathrooms were screaming for help. Space was cramped and claustrophobic, and storage was sorely lacking. Never renovated, the style was true1970s. We wanted to make changes, but we were stuck. Enter Robin Amorello of Atomscaper Design. With professionalism and a keen design sensibility, she changed our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Previously, the kitchen layout was confining, our backs faced the ocean views or were obstructed by low hanging cabinets. She completely reengineered the layout so that we now look out over the gorgeous ocean-scape from any vantage point. Robin thought about workflow and made recommendations based on daily living and how we move about the kitchen. The cabinetry she recommended is solidly high quality, and offers lots of space and flexibility for storage and organization. The all-new island is the kitchen gem, and serves as the place for congregating and socializing, food prep and serving, and added seating. Finally, she was very helpful in providing guidance and recommendations for new appliance choices. Then she went to work on the bathrooms. The aesthetics are spectacular. Without materially changing dimensions, she gave us much more space by creating walk-in showers with seating in one, infinity drains and shower niches. Upon her recommendation, we tiled the floors, walls, and showers to make dust and sand removal easier. In one bathroom the tile looks exactly like planks of driftwood and it is absolutely gorgeous. Her recommendation to install wall-mount toilets was smart - they maximize space, make toilet cleaning with a houseful of boys much easier, and modernize. If we were to do additional remodeling, I would not hesitate to call Robin again. I strongly recommend her to anyone wishing to renovate their home.
