We hired Sharon Stone Design to remodel our attic, stairs, and kitchen. Attic Conversion: The original space was an unfinished, uninsulated attic that was hot and unsafe. They converted it into an insulated, functional room that our children now use regularly as a playroom. Kitchen Remodel: They redesigned our 1980s-style kitchen, which had poor flow and layout constraints. The new design opened up the layout, incorporated a central island, and modernized the space. Throughout the project, Sharon showed strong attention to technical details, specifically taking the time to carefully review our appliance specifications to ensure precise installation and fit. Because the company utilizes their own in-house construction crew, project adjustments and issues were handled directly, efficiently, and with high-quality workmanship.

Amazing contractor, hire this team! When looking for a company to purchase new counters for our kitchen remodel, we worked with Sharon Stone Design. Throughout our meetings, we learned that Sharon’s husband, Guy, is a contractor with a full team of electricians, painters, plumbers, etc. After our remodel wasn’t going well with the group we were originally using, we hired Guy and his team to finish the job. They executed the full kitchen remodel including painting cabinets and installing hardware, installing electrical outlets, new recessed lighting, stovetop, hood and sink, as well as installing a new countertop and backsplash. Additionally, they painted cabinets in two bathrooms and painted the exterior of our home. Sharon, Guy, and their team pay attention to detail, and their expertise helps guide you through difficult decisions. They made excellent recommendations of aspects of the job we hadn’t thought of previously which enhanced the beauty of the remodel. Throughout the job, Guy checked in regularly and sent photos of the progress in real time. Their pricing was very reasonable and the job was completed not only in a timely manner, but on budget. We asked SHARON Stone Design to remodel to our kitchen and bathroom. Guy and his team replaced the countertop and did the backsplash of my kitchen, installed LED recessed ceiling lights on bottom floor and bedroom, and re-tiled the floors of both bathrooms and the shower wall. The biggest and most important job was the re-wiring of our bottom floor, which was a huge undertaking. It was done cleanly, and it smoothly passed inspection. One thing I appreciated was that Guy and his team patched and re-textured any holes or walls they had to cut out to do the re-wiring. (Electrical contractors typically don't offer to patch anything. They just leave you with the holes and wires exposed! Gah!!!) Guy's painter did a beautiful job patching and re-texturing everything. You'd never know that they gutted the place. Guy gives very solid design recommendations and the results turned out great. It's always nice to know that Guy is not a finish-and-take-my-leave sort of contractor. I feel that I can count on his advice with any improvements I will make in the future.

Sharon and team recently did a flooring remodel in my three story townhome. We are OBSESSED with our new floors! We took our time in the decision making process. We were trying to decide between engineered hardwood and vinyl. With Guy's expert knowledge and assessing our living situation with two kids and two dogs, the expert recommended vinyl to uphold our life style. Given that our second floor is where a lot of our water sources are, it was the best decision. We are already planning our next project with them! Through the construction time, Guy's team was respectful, mask wearing, and sanitizing regularly. We were living on our third floor during renovations, so they kept our home extra clean for us every evening when they finished. We would come home to a very minimally dusty space. The COVID19 precautions were practiced by his team and we were so pleased with the outcome of our floors.

Sharon and her team are amazing! They did our whole house counter tops -kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms. Their work was amazing. We ran into issues with our slab sizes not their fault but because of cabinet sizes being different than what was on the plan. Sharon quickly brainstormed and came up with a slab that was very close to the rest of the counters. She quickly was able to order it and finish the job on time. They have really good work ethics and will go above and beyond to get the job done. They also reached out to me since a couple items are pending and they followed up on those right away. I will highly recommend them!

Sharon is an AMAZING professional! Her team and consultation services are unmatched and guarantee a beautiful result! We did a complete remodel of a fixer we bough in Sunnyvale. I was swamped with many decisions to make and was looking for countertop solutions for the Kitchen and bathroom vanities. Sharon made the process easy for us and help us tremendously in making good design and practical choices. Sharon was very helpful in understanding our needs, she understood our preferences and budget. She was able to come up quickly with insights and recommendations that helped us to navigate among the endless options available, focus, and choose the right slabs for our project. Sharon was very helpful in optimizing the most beautiful way to cut the slabs and match them to different areas - this is very important as you want specific veins in slabs to be at different areas to show the stone characteristic and highlight the kitchen. Sharon's team was able to spot some misalignment issues in my cabinets that would have caused issues in the future. Finding those issues allowed me to get them fixed and avoid much-unneeded frustration. We were stressed with times, but Sharon promised quick turnaround and she delivered - fabrication was quick, and countertops were delivered and installed on time.

Absolutely the best construction professionals I have ever worked with! The Sharon Stone team helped us a few years ago in a complex stone project, and done an amazing job in creating a beautiful stone work! Years later, we are rebuilding an old house we bought, called Sharon and asked her to do all the stone work in the house. The result is beautiful, detail oriented and very-well done, artistic and professional stone design and work. Super happy! Highly recommended!

We worked with Guy for his contracting services to remodel a recently purchased house.The remodeling required significant electrical, heating and plumbing updates, along with aesthetic changes like building a walk-in closet. First things first - 1. No remodeling is going to be easy - after spending $$$ amount of money on your first home you are going to see it torn down to its insulation and bones before it transforms in front of your eyes. 2. If you have limited domain knowledge of the work you are undertaking (e.g. permits, electrical outlet types, plumbing laws, etc.) like I did, you will be heavily dependent on your contractor to take you through the process. With these baselines set - to tackle both of the above, Guy is your guy :) He is very swift with his work and is always responsive with his client and sub contractors alike. He is also good at breaking down complex issues and finding solutions. At times, discussions did get heated/frustrating but the end goal always stood the same - we BOTH were working towards a good quality, safe home. We also got a few lovely surprises along the way where he did work for us pro-bono, out of sheer goodwill. Guy also has the most wonderful wife and kids and it's great to see this husband-wife partnership flourish. One of the main reasons we went for Guy was because of the trust others said they have in him - not only for the remodeling but also providing care for the home once it's done. We have noticed some issues with electrical points/lights as well as some pending small jobs he had promised to complete. Once we reached out, he has instantly responded and we are scheduled to meet soon. Stay tuned as I will definitely update this post once that is resolved. As Guy once told us, the contractor-client relationship should be a long term one!

I have nothing negative to say about my experience with Sharon Stone Design. Sharon and her team are professional, timely and all around a pleasure to work with. Sharon helped me pick out the right stone for my countertop and did a meticulous job cutting the stone to the perfect dimension, matching the pattern of the veins in the stone to each seam, and her installation crew did a great job measuring and installing the stone. I cannot recommend Sharon Stone Design enough to anyone installing countertops!

From the design and selection of materials through the actual construction process, Guy of Sharonstone construction proved knowledgeable and totally committed to the projects. Guy and his crews pay special attention to detail. Our home has been transformed upstairs and downstairs with beautiful of Italian tile. They finished the job as they promised. We wanted to remodel our kitchen and bathroom by replacing the tile floor with new tiling and replacing the countertop. We met with a couple contractors to get quotes and decided to go with Sharon Stone Design. From the beginning it was clear that Guy was much more responsive, friendlier, and prices were more reasonable compared to the other contractors. we talked to. Guy and his wife Sharon worked with us within our budget. They gave great recommendations when it came to picking out counters, tile, and other design choices. Throughout the job Guy gave regularly checked in the work, gave updates, was very responsive to questions, and addressed all the minor requests we had. Finally, and most importantly, we were very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of the final work.

The Sharon Stone team did an excellent job. They gave a fast turnaround time after making the measurement. Before the installation, they provided valuable advice about countertop and sink to choose. The installers were professional, efficient, and friendly. They cleaned up well after the job. Also, the team was very accommodating when I asked them to come back to drill one more hole for a hot water dispenser. I highly recommend this team!

Needed a small chip in my granite counter top repaired. The company that installed the top (less than a year ago) was "just too busy" to spare anybody (they weren't "too busy" when I was writing them checks for over $6k). Was referred to Sharon Stone and she sent Javier over a couple weeks later (it was a very small chip and I told Sharon that there was no hurry). Javier showed up on time, was very professional, did a great job and was a very pleasant guy to have around for the couple hours he was here. Javier also pointed out to me that the type of granite we used for the counters (quartzite) is prone to chipping and that the edge profile we selected is a bit sharp cornered. He told me that if they had done the job with that material, they would have suggested that we use a slightly rounder profile to reduce the likelihood of chipping. Wish I had known about Sharon Stone Design before I went with the guys who did the fabrication/install.

We're so glad that we decided to work with Sharon and Guy on our new countertops. They were extremely responsive throughout the entire process, which was super efficient and fast. We visited the office to pick a few options, they came out to make sure they can do the work as we wanted, came out for demolition, then, finally back for installation. All of that took a little over a week! We have a newborn baby and they were very considerate of our situation and were able to speed things up for us. One of the best contractors I ever worked with!

I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten Guy & Sharon to design & build out my kitchen and bathroom redesign. It was something I'd put off for a while with the fear that it would be a long, arduous, painful and ineffective process. As an architect who has worked on custom homes and countless kitchens for over 20 years, I've rarely had the opportunity to work with a team of high end stone fabricators and installers who are both extremely talented and a joy to work with. I had several pieces of a stone counter that I wanted to install into my own house and although other installers turned down the project because it was too difficult to work with random cut pieces, Guy was able to take these 3 pieces of stone and reconstruct them into my beautiful and seamless kitchen counter. This is a feat that only the most skilled fabricator can achieve as any fabricator can cut new countertops from new slabs. Sharon was not only very timely in helping me price the project, but she was able to help me find a stone for my counter to complement my existing counter top. She often worked after normal business hours to get pricing and stone options back to me, which I really appreciated since I work on other people's houses during the day and my own house after work hours. Thank you Sharon Stone Design for a beautiful project and a wonderful, professional experience. I plan on referring them to all of my current and future projects and I hope to work with them again soon.

Super professional and service oriented! I was not sure what I want at all, and Sharon had all the patience to consult, explain, share different options to the point I was not less then HAPPY! A good vendor is someone you can trust to be there for you also after you paid him... when the plumber had an issue that requires Sharon's team to re-work the set up of the sync - they did it with no delays, with a lot of care and a big smile.

We had multiple quartz countertop projects implemented by Sharon and Guy - kitchen, wet bar, and five bathroom vanity countertops - and two fireplace tile/stone surrounds. They were professional and efficient. All the work was done with attention to detail. For example, the veining on our quartz matched perfectly where it needed to be, such as the transition from countertop to backsplash. Also, we had two double waterfall countertops where the mitered edges were executed to perfection. Not only were Sharon and Guy meticulous with the details, but were also the most efficient of our sub-contractors and moved quickly to finish all their projects without compromising on quality. Furthermore, they were competitive in pricing. We highly recommend Sharon and Guy, and it was a pleasure to work with them.

Awesome work done by Guy. Super fast very professional. I just finished my living room. I had very old style living room with traditional fire place. I wanted to make my living room more of modern and looks bigger. There were some extra space was waste. I had cabinet and where I couldn't fit more than 32 inches TV. So I was stuck with very boring TV size. I met Guy discussed with what I want to do and he gave so many ideas and we signed the contract. I thought this work will take forever but he finished matter of just few days. Super fast and quality work. So whole big wall with fire place is gone now and have modern tile wall and installed TV. Yet few furniture and pictures to add but it is already looking amazing. Thank you guy. Also we opened up the other wall cabinet and remove the whole and now I moved my sofa there and now my living looks bigger. Also we did recessed light and made it again more modern living room by changing chandelier. I highly recommend to hire him and work with your any projects.

For our kitchen remodel, Sharon Stone Design was hired through our GC. The countertop area is large (4 surfaces) and we had some specific expectations which made the job fairly non-standard, even difficult. The end result was beautiful. As it may happen with complex projects, we ran into some hiccups, but I would like to highlight that Sharon was utmost professional and went to great lengths to make us happy. Thanks.

I was referred to Sharon Stone Design from another cabinet designer that does high-end work (Blue Plum in San Francisco) for a kitchen remodel. After initial discussion with Sharon, both her and her team (Guy and others) came out to review ideas and share thoughts on what would work well for the look and feel we were after. It wasn't a fast process, but when spending a significant sum, you'll get a team that doesn't rush and goes to great length to make a stellar final product. I live in a upscale high-rise in San Francisco and their team has experience navigating the unfriendly waters of freight-elevator and HOA rules and regulations. As an example, there was a single-piece backsplash (all stone) that was meticulously cut with 1/16" precision to match all the crevices of a tricky kitchen area and it was around 8 feet long. Based on the amount of effort and end product that resulted, I was extremely pleased with the final price/quote and corresponding quality they delivered. I would recommend them for your next stone and/or kitchen project.

Don't think twice-this couple is amazing! I received Sharon phone from my arcitect and right away in knew I'm in good hands. Sharon met with me to choose the countertop type, size etch. She had tons of patience, experience and she actually served as my interior design for the kitchen. Our kitchen was installed only after we moved and with 4 kids I asked Sharon to do the installation asap. Hagai came on Sunday (!!!) with his team and they were very professional -the countertop looks amazing. I highly recommend Sharon and Hagai-you have all you need in one stop.

Sharon, Guy and the rest of their team installed Cesarstone countertops in our new kitchen and bathroom and the result is truly outstanding! I couldn't be happier. Sharon and the team were super helpful from the start - before I made the order, the CS color that I was interested in (fresh concrete) had a low stock and I was traveling and Sharon saved it for me for couple of weeks even though I didn't make a commitment. The service was beyond excellent and process throughout was very smooth - We did a major remodeling and it was such a pleasure to finally work with someone that you could trust and provides the best service possible. The installation (including a large island of 10 by 5 feet) was quick and smooth, and you could clearly tell that Guy and the rest of the installers are true professionals. Absolutely 5 stars - we have now a beautiful kitchen and bathroom and I strongly recommend them.

Guy and Sharon are the best! We bought a home a few years back and had our dishwasher break. When we went to buy a new one we needed an air gap out in (yeah the previous owner didn't put a new one in). I rarely write reviews, but Sharon Stone Design was such a pleasure to work with and did such a good job with our installation that I feel it is appropriate to give them the public credit they deserve. They helped us with the design and installed new countertops throughout our kitchen. At all stages of the process they were helpful, responsive and were excellent at communicating. They always showed up on time to the appointments and tried very hard to minimize the disruption to our lives. They even repaired a few of our older countertops without charging us extra while they were installing the new ones. They were fantastic to work with. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Great service for a great price and most importantly - super fast! Unlike others, who will install your counter top 2 weeks after you make your order, my counter top was installed exactly one week after it was ordered. This makes sooooo much difference! Once the counter is installed the kitchen can be used. And when you see those cabinets standing there, just waiting to be used... it's so hard to wait even one more day! Sharon is super nice, very responsive and didn't leave until she made sure I am happy! Her team was great and my kitchen looks awesome!

Sharon Stone Design is a great company to work with! Their customer service and attention to detail is impeccable. The communication with Sharon was very easy and timely. I had multiple quotes from several different contractors in the area and got the best price from Sharon. She listened very carefully to all our needs and guided us through every step in the process from selecting the right stone to templating and installation. Her team came on time both times and were done in less than 1 hour. They cleaned everything and left a shiny new counter top with perfect cutouts for the appliances and sink. Again very happy that we went with this company and would recommend them in a heartbeat!!!

Sharon repairs as well! We had a chip on the edge of our CaesarStone counter by the kitchen sink for a while. When we accidentally chipped it the second time, we decided it was time to get both repaired. Unfortunately the stone shop that originally installed had closed in the meantime. The manufacturer's local rep referred us to Sharon. I texted her photos of the chips, she quoted me back right away and offered a repair window just a couple of days out. Communicating with her was seamless, easy and all electronic. Her repair cost was exactly in line with what I had anticipated. Guy came and repaired the two chips expertly, even the third one he found right by the dishwasher. The repairs were seamless and blend in perfectly, Guy even gave us cleaning and maintenance tips. We are very pleased with the final results. Thank you Sharon.

These people really know what they're doing - Anything you want with countertops will come out looking like Archurectural Digest. And they don't mind traveling - so even if you're in SF or Berkeley - give them a call- incredible service and very personable as well!

Our general contractor hired Sharon to fabricate our marble countertop for our master bathroom remodel. We purchased a 50 square foot slab for a 20 square foot countertop, so Sharon also cut the remainder of the slab into a dining table for us. To summarize: - Her installers were professional and accurate in both drawing the template for the slab, and during installation. - Sharon is very knowledgable about the materials she works with, and provided us with a lot of information about what to expect in terms of maintenance and care of marble. She also provided us with some helpful information about what to do and not to do in building a custom table for our dining room. - Sharon was always very responsive and answered all questions we had promptly. - Her prices are competitive.

We remodeled our kitchen and Sharon Stone Design fabricated our granite. Sharon was so professional and her team did an excellent job installing the granite. The team was easy to work with and they did a great job cleaning up after the job was done. The granite is beautiful and we enjoy it. We highly recommend Sharon Stone Design!

Our contractor subcontracted Sharon Stone designs to cut our marble slab for a double sink vanity and a bureau top in our new master bath. Her installer came out on day one to make a template for the vanity. Both the vanity in the bureau top were delivered in three days, the work was excellent and I recommend them highly. We are thrilled with the expert Ceasarstone work done in our home by Sharon Stone Design. They recently returned on a weekend morning to repair some chips we made to the stone, and their work is seamless and flawless. In addition, they are professional and a pleasure to work with.

I had countertops and island top done in Caesarstone. Sharon took the time to review all issues with me in advance. She also was honest and told me she liked the design without a waterfall - even though she would have made more money off that design. She was right, I appreciated the honesty. The project came out beautiful!

Unfortunately for me, Caesarstone isn't as indestructible as I thought it would be. I made the mistake of catching the mitered edge of my counter with the hard side of a Pyrex dish, and saw a few pieces come off the counter. My first inclination was to just superglue it back, but my partner would not allow it. The next day, I called Caesarstone HQ, and told them what happened. Right away, the customer service person said, CALL SHARON STONE! I called Sharon Stone (design) on Tuesday, and after much pleading and begging, she was able to fit me in that same Friday. Guy called an hour before he came, and within 45 minutes had the thing almost back to normal. From a few feet away, it's almost unnoticeable, and is completely smooth to the touch. Guy is a perfectionist, setting the paste and getting the color blended perfectly. He spent over an hour fixing my counter, and must've put 5 coats on it. He was very clean, picked up all the tiny little pieces of adhesive, and left the counter cleaner than before. I had lots of questions, and he was very courteous and patient, even though he did have lots of people still to see after me. Sharon really went out of her way to squeeze me in her schedule this week, and Guy did everything he could to put it back together. In looking at the pictures, it's not a big chunk that came out, but at the time, it felt like the end of the world. I'm so glad I had Sharon take care of me.

They got us the perfect quartz countertop that matched with the rest of our kitchen. Her professional staff delivered the countertop, installed it and cleaned everything before leaving. Sharon is a great professional with an amazing attitude and great costumer care. During planning phase, she came to the site and gave specific suggestions for our project. She was kind and respectful. She responded to all our emails and calls promptly. Since there was a delay in shipment of the slabs Sharon worked hard with her team to expedite the fabrication and finish the work as soon as they received the material. The countertops Sharon Stone Designs made and installed were beautifully done. The template was very carefully mapped out. The workmanship and committment to doing a good job was excellent. There was a slight snag in the template design because of an appliance design; luckily I noticed it and the fabricator (template designer) was able to figure out a good solution. he even made an extra trip onsite to explain how the design fix would work. The clean up was properly thorough. Hints: Make sure you discuss the necessary holes and fixture placement with your kitchen designer or contractor ahead of time and have the fixtures at the time of installation. I miscalculated the number of holes needed- not the installer's fault. Also make sure you are on site for template and installation. If you want the cut out parts of engineered stone, say so in advance. I would happily use Sharon again. Wow! Just gave Sharon her fifth star! We had the countertop settle a little and she sent the wonderful installer back out to reset the backsplash and advise us on the correct fix for the general contractor. Sharon was very professional (as is her team) and she really came through even 6 months later! Kudos, Sharon!
