Never did I think we could afford a new kitchen as nice as what Henry and his staff provided. From his initial ideas through out the planning stages my wife and I couldn't be happier. Very professional and very easy to work with. The craftsmanship, quality, is nothing but outstanding.. We can't wait to have him do our bathrooms this year.

I hired Henry for the remodeling of my entire condo after having interviewed four different contractors. Henry got the job not only because he gave me the best estimate, but also because of his personality, and, it was apparent from the beginning, his honesty and integrity. I was very careful in my selection of a contractor, because the one who I had previously hired messed up my kitchen and, in addition, behaved in the most obnoxious manner when confronted with his mistakes. The remodeling of my apartment was not a small job. It entailed fixing of the messed-up kitchen, redoing from scratch the bathroom and powder room, redoing the laundry room, remodeling the walk in closet, redoing the closets including the doors, changing the carpet to hard wood floors, painting the entire apartment, and putting up new doors in every room. The idea was that we would start in January 2012 and continue until the job was done. After Henry repaired and did a fantastic job on my kitchen, I found out from my job that I had to leave the country and be stationed in Europe for three months. Obviously, the remodeling needed to be put on hold, but Henry had already scheduled the job. When I asked him if the job could wait until my return, he graciously agreed to the new time frame. The remodeling of my place was a tremendous success. It is more beautiful than I had envisioned! Henry outdid himself, not only doing a perfect job, but assisting me in decision making to my advantage, making things run smoothly, and, most importantly, being there with courtesy and integrity.
A few examples: I decided that, after remodeling my entire place, I also needed to replace the front door of my condo (I live in a high-rise building). I asked Henry for an estimate and, also, asked the contractor who is replacing the front doors of my building. The latter contractor gave me a slightly better estimate, probably because dealing with my building's doors is his only business. Henry said that, since the other contractor gave me a better estimate, I should go with him. So there was a time when I had two contractors working in my home in perfect harmony - Henry also gave me advice on the painting of the door!
Also, I had envisioned how the tiles in my bathroom should look. The workers followed my directions, but, when I saw the outcome after my return from work, I hated it. The following morning, I told the workers, who called Henry and he came over. He agreed that the look was not beautiful. At no additional cost to me, he instructed his workers to redo the tiling in a different pattern - and it turned out perfect! But the icing on the cake was the last part of the remodeling: Five of the new doors in my condo had to be modified to fit, but the installers cut them narrower than they should be. They were expensive and, being cut narrow, not aesthetically attractive. I called Henry and he came to see them. I told him that this was not acceptable. He asked to be excused for a minute, and then he returned and, with politeness and courtesy, agreed that the doors should be redone and he assumed the full cost of their replacement!!! And he actually immediately did it!
Needless to say that, when I had a party at my place to celebrate the remodeling, Henry and his wife were the first people on my list. He actually came earlier to help us out with chores and he brought me a Black & Decker cordless drill as a gift, because I had told him that I needed one and asked him for the best brand. All my friends and neighbors were delighted with what he has done. Five of them already hired him for the remodeling of their apartments and homes, and more are following. I have to say that remodeling an entire apartment is not an easy task. But I was very lucky to have a decent, honest, respectful and knowledgeable individual on my side to help me out.
I must repeat the above from an additional perspective and that is, he is one of those exceptional people who considered the successful renovation of my home as not just another project but as his success and satisfaction as well.
If you ever need somebody to do any job in your home, I am highly and without any reservations recommending Henry's Society Hill Kitchens and Custom Interiors. You cannot go wrong with him - he is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!

We recently had SHK install semi-custom replacement kitchen cabinets and counter top. Although this was a relatively small project, Henry treated the job with the utmost attention and managed the project with realistic time frames (especially as the cabinets were coming from overseas), while keeping us apprised all along. He visited the project as it progressed and went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the result - and we certainly are!

I had a very good experience with this company. I hired them to up me update my kitchen. The owner was very nice and worked with me every step of the way. He also came over several times to over see the work. The workmen were very good and left the place clean and neat. I have recommended them to others. the final outcome was excellent.

We recently purchased a custom made kitchen from Society Hill Kitchens. At the time we ordered, we were told 10-12 weeks for delivery. Prior to starting construction, Lorenzo confirmed we were on target for the 10-12 weeks. Weeks go by. Week 12 we're told it will be another week, week 13 the same thing. Henry kept telling us it was because of the exacting standards of their work it was taking longer. At week 16, we still did not have cabinets and sought legal counsel. Only then, week 17 after cashing our 50% deposit check, did we finally have the cabinets delivered.
At the delayed delivery time, Society Hill Kitchens became angry that we paid them with a personal check (though it was fine when we put our deposit down!). Once we opened the boxes, we realized why they wanted a cashier's check. Cabinets were damaged, and despite being custom were not made to the specifications. The LED lights, part of our order and certainly we were charged for them, were no where to be found. The touchless open of the cabinets was non-existent. Had we paid them with their requested cashier's check, we would be out a significant amount of money with no recourse regarding damaged and absent cabinets. We had initially contacted them with these complaints and received no response. Only after we had to resort to stopping payment on the check did they respond to any our concerns (and did acknlowedge the flaws).
Throughout this entire process they have been nothing but miserable to deal with. I would never use them again, nor would I ever recommend them. The cabinets are not unique, they are not handmade and there are many other reputable companies who can do better work for less hassle.
in summary: STAY FAR AWAY, this is not a reputable company.

Four years ago, my wife and I bought our house which needed to be renovated, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. We were very pleased by what Society Hill Kitchens and Custom Interiors did for us. They changed our house from boring to beautiful. The whole process was easier than we expected, very affordable and they guided us along the way while listening to our input.
More importantly, three and a half years after the work was finished, I called Henry with a couple of crazy questions about adjusting a door and a pullout. To my pleasure, he was very accommodating and immediately came to our house answered my questions, smiled and showed me how it’s done. And guess what? There was no charge!
From my experience I give them my highest recommendation for remodeling. They provided high quality products and service.

Henry was a wonderful contractor for us to work with as we planned and built our home. His company went out of their way to provide us the highest quality kitchen cabinets, master closet and living room built-ins. Their commitment to our vision for the home and its finishes was exemplary and we couldn't be happier with the results. We've lived in our new home for the last 8 years and still remark on the great products they provided.

I am a past, current and future client. As professionals, my wife and I appreciate working with groups of people with a background of extensive knowledge who are most helpful and truly perform. Many promise, some deliver on a promise but those who excel, are especially appreciated. We rate Society Hill Kitchens and Custom Interiors in the five stars and beyond category. They constructed a beautiful custom storage unit for our Florida room at our home in New Jersey. For our Boca Raton, Florida home, they manufactured and installed a beautiful functional kitchen and for our walk in pantry, custom matching doors. Their custom design for cabinets and storage utilized every inch of space. We are looking forward to working with them again with our planed remodeling project for our New Jersey home.
Sincerely,
LS and HS
