From start to finish the process with Swede has been seamless and enjoyable. Their organization in the Basecamp app is like no other company out there. Their offerings were also significant and the level of finish has exceeded my expectations. I am so pleased with the attention to detail and the third part contractor they suggested for the project. I see more projects together in the future!

I've worked with Swede as a design and trade partner over the last two and a half years and have loved the process. They simplify the client experience with quick estimates, transparent pricing, and thorough shop-drawing sets that detail every internal detail of each cabinet. I love the quality and have been able to produce some truly gorgeous kitchens in collaboration with Swede. I used their cabinets for my own full home renovation, including kitchen, pantry and 2 bathrooms and absolutely love the quality of the product - it's extremely well-built, I love the full-extension drawers and level of customization I was able to include to maximize the storage and function of each of the cabinets.

We are beyond thrilled with our Swede kitchen and mudroom. Each space is beautiful, functional and flows with the design concept of our entire home that was being renovated. Every step of the design and planning process was enjoyable, and the user-friendly communication platform offered a simple and fast method to share ideas, design inspiration and delivery timelines - brilliant!

It has been one year since our kitchen Reno has been completed and I am still in love with it all. Our project with Swede was such an incredible, easy and stress free experience. It is one thing for a business to promise all the right things, but to plan, design and execute it is another. Swede fulfilled every promise!!! Their product is of such high quality and their simplified process is flawless!!! The first phone call to Lorne, who took so much time explaining every detail was not only educational but reassuring! He then connected Karina the design guru to us and then Ryan (Hygge Developments) came in and created the magic!!! What a dream team! Everyone was so professional and excellent at their individual skill and collaborated with each other seamlessly. And now we have an amazing kitchen to enjoy for years to come! It was the best decision we made and we still thank Swede for created a space that fits our lifestyle perfectly and was on budget!!!

We loved working with Swede - the design stage allowed us many opportunities to make changes as we thought more and more about the function of our kitchen. Looking back I am so grateful to have this opportunity as the final product is exactly what we wanted! The ordering stage was easy and Swede helped us find an excellent installer. There was a challenge on delivery that one of the cabinets was measured wrong but Swede did a good job rectifying this situation and it didn't hold up our project at all. We are very pleased with the outcome and will recommend Swede to family and friends!

We worked remotely with Kim on the design. She took her time and was so fun to work with. She turned my little kitchen in the most perfectly layout space. Swede suggested a few contractors we could use to install the cabinetry. We went with Floyd Knights, and everything went smoothly. Great contractor. We also decided to let Swede take care of the countertop installation. Again, the contractor they used in Toronto was excellent. I would definitely recommend working with Swede. Renovating a kitchen is expensive and stressful, but they made the entire process easy. The cabinets they sell are of great quality and they seem to really try to only work with the best people. It was a great experience and we love our kitchen. Now, we are waiting for “Swede Bathrooms”.

Where do we start with how impressed we were with Swede! This is an unsolicited, unbiased review, and we don't leave reviews like this very often but feel compelled to with how great our experience was. First and foremost, service & communication! We've just been through a whole house remodel and there have only been a few services & technicians we were truly impressed by. From day one the team at Swede was engaged and excited to help us craft an amazing kitchen, coffee nook, and pantry. Along the way every question was answered— every detail tracked. When anything wasn't right or was overlooked they swiftly took action and took care of it. Every interaction with every team member was professional, kind, and put us at ease. Secondly, quality. We've had several compliments on the quality of the millwork, and every recommendation the Swede team had regarding hardware and some customizations were great. When we had a couple small hiccups with some millwork errors, the team worked quickly to collaborate with the shop and our installer to get them fixed asap. Third, CLARITY. Transparency in pricing, clear timelines and communication in moving us through fulfilling each phase of the process was clear and easy to understand. They made a huge commitment to us after only receiving a small deposit— the trust and faith they have in their process without needing pressure tactics was very welcome and shows the confidence they have in the products and services they offer. We have been singing their praises to friends and colleagues, and will continue to. We're going to enjoy our kitchen, coffee nook & pantry for years to come!

Swede designers did a great job matching our space with what we wanted to do. There was careful attention to detail, hands-on support, and always friendly banter and advice! I was impressed by the entirety of Swede's process from start to finish. Being a first-time condo owner and new to renovations, a kitchen reno was daunting and included a lot of unknowns at first! However Swede was transparent, organized, and clear on every aspect of what I was signing up and paying for. This was a far cry from other companies that throw a generic price at you. I appreciated having a collection of thoughtfully curated materials to minimize decision fatigue and the use of their software platform made communication a breeze. I was thankful not to have to wade through any emails! Their recommendation of a trustworthy and qualified contractor was the cherry on top. My kitchen turned out really well and I'd recommend Swede to anyone!

Our kitchen and main floor redesign has completely transformed our home and the way we use our space. Quite simply, we love it. Visitors to our home literally gasp at how beautiful the space is. The practical storage solutions make our lives so much easier. We use areas of the main floor that were previously ignored due to poor space design. The contractors were all top notch, nice and very accommodating. We are still in awe of the final result and often catch ourselves admiring our kitchen, wondering why we waited so long to do this.

We went with Swede for the renovation of our 1960s kitchen. Living in rural Canada our options for cabinet makers were limited. Our kitchen was designed by an independently hired architect, so their design services were not really needed for our project. We chose half shinnoki wood and half painted cabinets, and the finishes are beautiful. I love our new kitchen. I would have preferred to go with laminated cabinets vs painted for better durability, however the colour options were quite limited (when compared to other companies we looked at online). Also there were certain cabinet designs that could not be accommodated by Swede (pocketing doors on an appliance garage for example), so this created additional work for our contractor who had to modify these boxes. Ultimately we love our kitchen, and we are very fortunate that Swede was able to provide it on an expedited timeline.

Earlier this year we completed a full kitchen and front entryway renovation through Swede and we were very impressed with the ease of their process and the quality of the product. When we reached out to Swede through their website we did not have a designer or a local contractor, they quickly assigned a designer to our project and she was able to recommend excellent contractors. Xenia Rose, our designer, really went above and beyond to ensure our kitchen was both functional and fit with the vibe of the rest of our small, mid-century home. We appreciated the well-edited choices on the Swede website for cabinetry, counters and more. Having gone through renovations before, we knew that it was easy to get overwhelmed with design choices. We were also impressed at how quickly our project moved and that there were no significant delays, in fact the cabinetry was ready earlier than expected. Bre, Sarah, Xenia and the rest of the Swede staff on our project were professional, friendly and super responsive. Our renovations maintained the original footprints of our kitchen and entryway so we are so happy we went with a custom cabinetry, we were able to really maximize our space and it looks gorgeous. We highly recommend Swede!

The design and planning process with Swede was seamless and interactive for our kitchen renovation in Victoria, BC. We went through multiple rounds of revisions and our designer was always willing to discuss and adjust the original drawings to meet our changing wishes. Ultimately we came up with a final product that we are extremely happy with. The cabinets and hardware are high-quality and Anthony and his team were able to provide us with a number of options for size, materials and cost. We really appreciated the flexibility of being able to have custom cabinet sizes. My wife and I chose Swede after an initial consultation with the owner and an on-site visit that confirmed they "saw" what we saw in the potential for our newly purchased, but very dated house. From the start we had positive experiences throughout, the design consult was thorough and included multiple re-renderings as we discussed the finer details and impact of various choices. The project - as with all projects - was not without missteps. I changed the opening dimensions for an exterior door from 5' to 6' and almost upended the whole project when the installers caught the change and realized it's impact on the cabinet design requirements - Swede handled this bump in the road with incredible grace and quickly helped pivot the design to meet tight timelines for other trades. Our project went so well, we agreed to allow photos from the job to be featured on their site so as you scroll through their portfolio, know that at least one of those houses is represented by 2 very happy homeowners and customers! For prospective Swede customers, I'd offer this advice; they work as a design firm, coordinating with your millwork, countertops and installation teams. This does not mean you're off the hook. For your project to go smoothly I strongly encourage you to be emotionally invested in the project. Sit with the designs, imagine the space, imagine yourself in it and provide feedback accordingly. Ultimately, it's your house, you will know it best and will know where the light falls at a time of day or how you like to work when in the space (how much counter space do you need to prep a meal or to plate it? Do you want a dedicated space for the coffee machine or other commonly used appliances, etc.)
