Ron and Rudina are great to work with. Always on top of orders even during a pandemic! The general contractor they work with, Eric, was also fabulous. Very respectful of the fact that a renovation is stressful for the home owner. They all did everything possible to ensure the process was smooth with constant updates. The kitchen reno turned out very well for a house from 1963. I highly recommend them all.

Ron and Rudina from Affordable Kitchen Company were great. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They listened to us and guided us throughout the whole process. We were pleased with the whole process and especially the finished rooms. Their design, quotes and execution were timely and accurate. Nelson Youth Centre, a non profit children's mental health centre partnered with The Affordable Kitchen to renovate our kitchen and staff offices. Both Ron Oakes and Rudina Lama listen to our vision and created a design that encompassed all our expectations and beyond for our kitchen and offices. In the end we were left with a wonderful kitchen that was attractive and functional for the children and families coming into the Centre. The staff work area was transformed into beautiful and modern working space. Their enhancements made the areas very warm and inviting place to be in. We were very pleased with the quality of kitchen cabinetry, countertop and office furnishings. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the install was very well coordinated by Anton Dittrich using top of the line contractors to completed the projects. The projects was completed in the projected time lines and the area was left in a picture perfect condition. We had only positives reviews from the children, families, staff and community members about the kitchen and offices! Ron and Rudina are very special friends of the Centre! I recently completed a kitchen renovation with The Affordable Kitchen Company and they certainly lived up to their name! I am beyond thrilled with my kitchen and even more impressed that I could actually afford it. The cabinetry is phenomenal quality and I wouldn't change a thing. The project was completed on time, the process was seamless and efficient. Every little design aspect was considered from the wall paint to the a small drinking faucet. A job more than well done.

We had Ron and Rudina from Affordable Kitchen do our kitchen design and construction February 2020 .Their design concepts were drawn into an amazing functional ,beautiful ,kitchen.It’s absolutely exceptional.We had 3 other local ,well known kitchen ,companies give us designs which we paid for and cost quotes but it was Affordable Kitchen who came out on top because we could talk to them easily about our needs,they understood exactly what we wanted and gave us a design that no one before had been able to do to satisfy our space needs.Our old cramped kitchen was transformed into a beautiful,,bright ,functional kitchen with everything we wanted.Rudina has a very keen eye for details and great design ideas and as their crew is working through various parts ,she and Ron are involved and following up on deliveries ,parts completed ,etc and we were always in the know through them .We didn’t have to worry about what was happening or when ,as they do all the co- ordination of supplies and deliveries to completion .We thought very highly of their crew .They left our home clean every night ,tried their best to make the Reno as least disruptive as possible,as we continued living in house , and worked through Covid .We trusted them as they used all safety precautions for keeping distance etc.We were so highly confident in their skill that we had them continue to renovate a bathroom,all flooring upstairs and other jobs to update the house .If you need someone to do your new kitchen Affordable Kitchen will transform your small cramped kitchen into what you see in magazines and within your budget.

No Words! Every aspect of my kitchen project was pretty terrific from beginning to end. I really wanted start to finish support and they delivered. The contractor was communicative and skilled. I have no design abilities and they helped. We really built a strong relationship; by the end, just one look from Ron or Rudina and I knew if I was on the right track or not. They paid attention to the details, they anticipated issues and problem solved proactively. The end result was beyond my expectations. My kitchen is so nice, the quality is so good. I love it. I had done a fair bit of shopping around so I'm pretty happy I walked through that door.

Ron and Rudina were instrumental in designing a great kitchen space for entertaining. We tend to entertain larger crowds so were in need of long stretches of working counter tops and lots of storage. We achieved that and more! Thank you!!

This was our first large renovation experience and The Affordable Kitchen Company came highly recommended. Ron and Rudina, the owners, were easy to talk to, listened to what we wanted and then provided a detailed design which more than met our expectations. The scope of the design included the kitchen, master bedroom, two piece bathroom and laundry room. Each area was unique and delivered maximum storage and counter space. We were extremely pleased with the end result. The whole Affordable Kitchen team included several contractors who worked well together and were truly professional. The quality of the cabinets and the finishing work was superb and we wouldn't hesitate to work with Ron, Rudina and the rest of the team again. Their commitment from the beginning to the end of the project was excellent.

They worked with us, got a sense for what our wish list was, created the vision, and worked within our timeline and budget. Another important factor was one point of contact. My husband and I had our extremely outdated 1970's kitchen renovated by Affordable Kitchens last fall. Ron and Rudina were very knowledgeable about all the products available and Rudina has a real flair for laying out the kitchen so that it is both beautiful and functional. They were able to give us a beautifully designed kitchen within our budget. The contractors Anton and Evan of Quality Plus Construction were very professional and friendly. Anton's extensive experience in the renovation business was very appreciated because we quickly found out that the walls in older houses aren't that straight and designs sometimes have to be modified on the job site. We are very happy and would recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home. I still don't like to cook, but now I have the added excuse that I don't want to wreck my fabulous new kitchen.
