Never again!! We worked with the designer and were so excited and then finally, the work began. This was not a small job, near $90,000. The materials were very nice but the workmanship was so sloppy and shoddy. The workers that were sent complained about the drive. They cut sloppy holes in the ceiling and then cut sloppy pieces to patch with. Some of the holes that were left in the ceiling were over an inch and nothing was finished. When asked about the sloppiness, we were told that our painters (not contracted through this company) could mud and fix it. The painters were hired to paint, not patch the mess left by UniqHouse. The contractor who put in the cabinets (handles were put on crooked) also knocked out a load bearing wall which caused the ceiling to sag. We were told that our house was already sagging so we had to get a structural engineer in to prove that UH had caused the damage. Then the same contractor ran the gas line which leaked for over a week, even though the leak was pointed out the day of the cooktop installation. The drywall work was shoddy. Then, the floating vanity was installed. When the backsplash was being put on, it was apparent that there was going to be an inch gap between the wall and parts of the backsplash. Again, we were told that our house has studs that were bowed. We had to hire another contractor to fix the drywall work in the kitchen, put in supports to level the sagging ceiling, and then found out that UH has attached the vanity with no support causing it to pull the drywall forward. UH gave excuse after excuse and no one, other than the designer, came to the house to check the work. We were told that we should monitor the work and provide updates. Again, refer to the amount that we were paying. And now we were expected to be the project manager. We had to have the tile work redone several times. The tile was laid around the new bathtub and they didn't take the plastic covering off, grouted the plastic right to the wall and floor. We finally had enough and asked that Brian come to the house. We spent over an hour pointing out all the issues. They had considered themselves done with our job. The tile wasn't matched and had crooked grout lines in one bathroom and now the tile has small cracks in it. They called themselves finished with one bathroom and started on the second. They did some plumbing and left. When we went into the bathroom, water was spraying all over and it had soaked through the drywall. Fortunately, we were able to get the water stopped. This also was never addressed. So then we had no working bathroom. We went for over two weeks with no functioning bathroom because of plumbing and tiling issues. Grout came up from the shower floor so they just smeared silicon caulk. This company is the pits. They hire unqualified people to complete the job. We ended up hiring another company to repair all the issues that UH created. Pics galore of mess.

I have a beautiful newly remodeled kitchen thanks to Beth, the designer, and my wonderful crew of hard workers! Beth helped me design a kitchen that I love! Thanks to Marat and his hard working crew, they made it happen!

Thank you for turning my outdated kitchen into my favorite part of my home. Beth did an awesome job in designing a kitchen that has everything I want plus more. She found away to incorporate my wish list and what needed to be done within my budget. The professional team UniqHouse used to do the work was considerate, hardworking and took pride in their work. But what really impressed me was how they took unexpected problems and worked with us in a mutually agreeable solution. UniqHouse goal is quality service and satisfaction.

Our vision of the bathroom cabinets that we wanted for a 2 bathroom renovation was quickly understood by Mike Isik at Uniq House. He set out to find exactly what we wanted within our budget and even various options on color and finish to consider. We were refered to Uniq House by our son who had also worked with Mike completing a beautiful 2 bathroom renovation. We never felt rushed and the scheduled cabinet deliveries were all met allowing our contractor to have what he needed when he needed it. We can highly recommend Uniq House and enjoyed working with Mike who’s knowledge and recommendations made our project a very pleasurable experience.

Our 3-4 week kitchen remodel took 8 weeks. Little communication from the company and no project manager. The designer never came out to look at any of the work being done even when I complained of a problem. Wrong stone was ordered due to change that was never implemented. Luckily this was caught before the start of the project and that I had pictures of the new stone while in their store. Design flaw with the corner carousels. Installer had to decide how to make it fit. All products were supposed to be on hand before the project started. That is why we had to wait an extra month before beginning. Mid project found that the tile was no longer in stock and had to pick another tile. Towards the end of the project, our installer refused to use the molding that was sent out because it did not match the molding to the cabinets. We had to wait for new molding. The painter damaged our windows in painting over vinyl without using a primer. It took days to make them look only ok. His other painting had to be retouched. He was fired by the installer. Our appliances from the kitchen were supposed to be removed and taken away. The installer said that was too much for him. The floor people said they don’t do that but did move a refrigerator out to the back porch. UniqHouse kept promising me they would have it done but didn’t. We had to pay someone else to come in and move them to take to the dump. They took the charge off our total. Meanwhile I had all the kitchen appliances sitting on my back porch for 2 months! After they “finished”, we had to re-connect the range hood so it would work properly. We also had to explain that the piece they left off the stove was supposed to go in the back of it. I believe that the project was too much for the installers that they sent. Not enough workers and they guessed at how to do several things. For the final payment I had to ask for an accounting of charges. The first amount was wrong. After other attempts, they added over $2,000.00 for extra that I didn’t know I was going to be charged for. The final product looks nice but I could never recommend them.

we had our kitchen remodeled by uniqhouse and it turned out amazing! They were professional, on budget and a pleasure to work with. They walked us through the procedure and explained clearly each step in process. They were on time each day and completed our kitchen on time. We could not have asked for more. We chose to hire The UniqHouse to supply cabinets & granite counter-tops for our office remodel. Our small office is not a retail space, so we wanted the kitchenette and bathrooms to resemble the look of a private home more-so than a business. However, due to it still being a Commercial setting, there were certain regulations we still needed to be compliant with, primarily The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. We were concerned we would have to go with boring, commercial-use options for our bathroom fixtures, sinks, and accessories, primarily due to wheelchair-accessibility issues, but The UniqHouse’s Senior Designer Lorana Jose-Maria completely blew us away with her skills! She was clearly familiar with ADA requirements – not only did she design an ADA-compliant kitchenette with swinging toe-kick, and 2 custom, wall-hung, slanted-cabinet bathroom vanities – she was also very thoughtful in recommending compliant faucets & cabinet knobs, and was able to get all of the features we wanted within the ADA design. The shop owners/operators also definitely deserve a shout-out! They personally delivered all the cabinets to our office due to our general contractors being delayed and not being able to pick-up in time. Absolutely professional, timely, and friendly! Would definitely recommend to all!

We hired The UniqHouse in Roswell to provide the cabinetry for our home remodel project. The whole team there provided outstanding customer service, especially Lorana for designing our fantastic Kitchen and Master Bathroom cabinet layouts. She tirelessly helped us decide between the myriad of choices to get the look we were after. We were using our own contractor for our whole-home remodel, so there were still some unknowns.. when an unexpected twist arose with the construction, a quick call to Lorana gave the answers we needed and a great solution. Also a special thanks to Damaris who I could always count on for help and advice whenever I'd show up in the showroom unexpectedly. I'm glad we chose The UniqHouse for our cabinetry needs, they did a great job!

We did a total renovation of our kitchen with the professional, and knowledgeable assistance of Loranna at The UniqHouse. We emailed the layout of our kitchen and told Loaranna that we would be in shortly, and she had already completed the projected cabinet and island layout before we arrived. She had great suggestions for improvements over our old cabinet layout, and was an invaluable source for design recommendations. Their installer, Oscar did a wonderful job. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen. I would recommend The UniqHouse to anyone who is in the market for a renovation project.
