I have used a lot of contractors over the years and Tim and Kelly are the best. My project was planned up front, scheduled, and priced before we started. And throughout the project, they provided regular and recurring updates - Kelly dealing with many of those issues of concern to my wife and Tim providing regular updates on time and costs to me. They were an effective team dealing with fussy customers on a high end project and the project came in on time and on budget. If you are looking for a contractor that is neat, organized, and communicates very effectively, timothyj should be your choice !

I love my bright, open kitchen! Timothy J Kitchen and Bath did a wonderful job providing the design and plan we were looking for and they kept to their schedule! The dining room wall was removed to open the space. An island and peninsula brought added seating to the area. Two different granite patterns - one for the island and one for perimeter countertops bring interest to the room. The transformation is amazing!

They helped us with the design and construction of our dream kitchen and master bath in our new lakefront condo. We enjoyed the entire process and could not be happier with the result. From our first meeting with Tim and Kelly, we knew we were in good hands. They wanted to know us, how we live and our vision for our new home. We spent several hours over a couple of meetings digging into the kitchen design and selection of the cabinets, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures and hardware. Through the whole process Tim was meticulous in his note taking to ensure that he didn't miss a thing when drawing up the design. We reviewed and tweaked the design a couple of times. Tim reviewed the entire materials list item by item, pointing out each item on the design document to make sure nothing was missed on the materials order. We were worried about fitting everything we wanted into the master bath, including a large infra-red sauna. Tim got creative and designed a bathroom that looks and feels like a spa, while ensuring we got everything we wanted in the space. Finally, the workmanship of the team was awesome. The project was well managed and completed on time and budget. We can't imagine ever wanting to remodel our kitchen or bath, but if we do ... we'll definitely call timothyj kitchen & bath!

Our master bedroom bath had to be demolished and replaced with a new entrance, tile shower and new plumbing and electric. BUT we live on the 7th floor of a 21-story condo building in Milwaukee with only one small elevator for the entire building and limited parking. Timothy Kitchen & Bath took these limitations in stride and constructed a stunning, durable bathroom without disturbing the building’s busy ebb and flow, and keeping dust and noise to a minimum as debris was hauled out and new materials were brought in. Tim Benkowski and his team constructed a beautiful Spanish-style shower and closets with finely detailed carpentry that seamlessly meshed with existing walls and woodwork. Every aspect of the agreed-upon specs, work, and schedule were scrupulously followed by this venerable Milwaukee Company. Tim and team, thank you for a great job! Dan & Marianne

We made the great decision to work with Tim and Kelly about a year ago. Our original idea, before meeting with Tim, was to remodel our existing kitchen space. Tim had the perfect suggestion to remove the wall between our kitchen and a never used living room area to create a kitchen great room. He asked all of the right questions about how we wanted to use our kitchen, our family lifestyle, and designed a beautiful room that we love to live and entertain in. Andy and his crew and all of the contractors that provided the electrical work, plumbing, etc. not only completed their job in a professional manner but were patient with my many additions and changes throughout the project. The original deadline would have been met but after seeing how fabulous our kitchen would be, we decided to also remodel our laundry room and powder room! Tim went with us to select our appliances and kitchen sinks and faucets. Kelly and her great vision and advice came with me to choose countertops, light fixtures and door hardware. She even helped with my paint selections. They were both with us during every phase of our project. We will soon be starting another project with timothyj, a makeover of two bathrooms and look forward to working with them again. Thank you Tim and Kelly!

We worked with TimothyJ to remodel a large portion of our house. Fantastic custom cabinets in the front room and great room. Stunning stone work around the fireplace. New granite counter tops in the kitchen and great room. New electrical outlets (with USB charging), ceiling fan, and LED lighting. New sink and fixtures. When you have such a large remodeling job, it can be nerve wracking. There was a lot of construction but we came home to a clean house every night. We had absolutely no problems with TimothyJ and the minor issues that came up were immediately and completely resolved. The design phase of the project was incredible - first designs were beautiful and we only tweaked them slightly. TimothyJ does a great job listening to what you like and incorporating it into the design. Truly can not recommend them enough. I'd be happy to discuss with anyone the project and how the entire staff was professional, friendly, and quality-focused. Next project will be with TimothyJ as well.

Tim and his crew did a great job on our kitchen/family room. We decided on Tim Benkowski because he had unique ideas that included everything we wanted to have done. We had our kitchen opened up into the family room so I could be included in the family activities while I am working in the kitchen. We had a long narrow kitchen but after knocking down a wall and getting rid of some closets, the kitchen transformed into a beautiful open room with an island that we use nonstop! We also had a new furnace along with duct work put in while the kitchen was gutted. As with all projects, there were a couple of "love it or list it moments". Tim and his crew were able to roll with the punches and come up solutions for all design dilemmas. The designer that Tim recommended was Emily Winters. Emily was a delight to work with and did a fabulous job working with us and guiding us through the many decisions that needed to be made. We loved her so much that we are using her again on another project. We really enjoyed the subs that Tim had work on our project. They were skilled, courteous, professional and excellent workers. We miss Roger, Guy and Mitch! I never once felt uncomfortable with the workers that were used, in my house. The job took about 10 weeks and everything was done on time. The few odds and ends things that needed to be done and the end, Tim made sure all was taken care of. I would definitely recommend Timothy J for your project.

First remodel job (kitchen) I have done- what an eye opener on the details and coordination needed. Tim and staff made it fairly painless- had a few unexpected issues but that seems par for the course. Tim's eye for design is impeccable. Job was completed on-time and the contractors did great quality work, finish work was fantastic! Now I have a warm and well designed/quality kitchen that draws endless compliments. Little details such as crown molding and various cabinet details provide a high end look. Know your contractor- and Timothy j Kitchen & Bath is worth knowing!

When we decided to remodel our two main floor bathrooms (20 years old), we knew we would use Tim. Our kitchen remodel (6 years ago) by Tim and his trades turned out beautifully. We were amazed, again, at Tim’s talent with creative use of small space. His trades were punctual, polite, respectful of us and our small home. He completed the project on schedule. It was fantastic to have Tim and Kelly assist us with design details and showroom time to help us complete our vision and our choices.
