Just had a great experience. Our washing machine started displaying a weird error message. We got a repairman the day after we made the request. Dave quickly diagnosed the problem, got the washer working properly, but said a full repair would need a replacement part that had to be ordered, The next day we got a call to say the part was in, and Dave returned the day after that. Within 15 minutes, just like the first day, he had the part replaced and everything works perfectly. Best of all, the repair was covered by warranty and we didn't even have to ask whether it was or not.

Working with Angela Weisbrod was a joy! We could have not asked for a better designer. The entire team at the Village Home Stores and Durian Builders helped us turn our 90's kitchen into a timeless classic. Timely and quality construction with "small-town" service and care.

We used Village Home Stores on an extensive remodeling project. They sold us on their quality and service after the sale. We are still waiting to see their service after the sale. We have been waiting for resolution on a flooring claim that we started almost 4 months ago. They will not return calls or emails. Meanwhile our floor still isn’t fixed. Buyer beware!!

My wife and I recently built a new home and asked to use Village Home Stores exclusively. From the staff to the installers to the owners, they are all the best of the best. We hired Village Home Stores for the final step in our kitchen remodel: a tile backsplash. Angela patiently helped us with our selection and coordinating colors. Randy did a very nice job with installation, even accommodating us outside the scheduled time. Both Angela and Randy were very pleasant and professional to work with!

We hired Village Home Stores to remodel our kitchen and bathroom and finish the remodeling we had begun on our living room. Our designer for all three projects was Angela Weisbrod. Neither the kitchen or bathroom in our 1940’s era farmhouse are large rooms. Angela prepared designs for both that incorporated everything we wanted and managed to make the rooms look larger as well improving their efficiency and appearance. What we really appreciated about Village Home Stores was everything we needed for the remodels was available right there in one place and of the highest quality. They have a team of professionals and a process that guided us through the selection of everything we needed to complete the projects. At times all the decisions and details felt overwhelming but everyone we worked with were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and above all patient. At every step we were given an updated estimate of the cost for the project. Once all the details were worked out Gregg Swanson, the project manager gave us a schedule showing us week by week who would be working at our home and what they would be working on. The craftsmen from Village Home Stores and all the subcontractors who worked on the project were professional, respectful, friendly and courteous. We love the finished results and would like to thank everyone who worked on our remodels. We highly recommend Village Home Stores and plan to work with them again as we proceed with remodeling the rest of the house.

We needed a ceiling fan for our lower level family room. After showing photos of the room to Keri Swanberg, she determined the size and style that would compliment the space. With her help, we chose the Monte Carlo "Maverick." fan The fan is even better than expected, the sleek three blade design in the black matte finish is the perfect finishing touch. Keri offers great design ideas, product knowledge and customer service.

We were impressed with our kitchen remodel through Village Home Stores from start to finish. They were willing to work within our budget and were gracious about incorporating existing elements that we did not plan to update. Our project involved relocation of plumbing and ductwork, soffit removal, and the addition of a window, in addition to the usual elements. The project presentation by our designer Angela Weisbrod was thorough and professional, and the calendar we received from project manager Gregg Swanson let us know exactly which contractors to expect each day. The subcontractors were all excellent, and we were impressed by the way the various crews worked together. The project was finished on time and on budget. When small issues arose, which is going to happen with any large remodeling project, Greg and Angela did everything they could to accommodate our concerns and make it right. We could not be happier with the workmanship of all the elements of our new kitchen, and we gladly recommend Village Home Stores to anyone embarking on a similar journey.
