We chose Wildwood for our kitchen & masterbath after viewing their showroom & touring their production facility. The quality of their cabinetry was hands down superior to anything we had seen prior (& for that matter since). Our kitchen is the “jewel” of our new home thanks to Ken & Paige.
Additionally we found these folks to be prompt & responsive when any questions arose.
Dollars well spent!

Jonathan from Wildwood Cabinetry exceeded my expectations. A slider soft close drawer stopped closing properly (not even Wildwood job, my original cabinets in house)
Jonathan came out the same day, diagnosed it only required an adjustment, and did not charge me for his visit.
So impressed

There is so much wonderful to say about Ken Allender and Wildwood Cabinetry, it is hard to know where to begin!
We had been working with a different company for almost a year, when they went out of business. Ken was introduced to us with glowing recommendations.
We met with Ken and were immediately struck by his gentle manner and professionalism.
Ken was willing to step in and recreate the plans that we had developed with the other company. Our choices for wood and finish were unusual and it was going to be a challenge. He was not dissuaded by the challenge.
Ken was able to not only meet, but exceed our hopes for our cabinetry. He went out of his way to make sure that everything was perfect and was a pleasure to get to know.
Ken even went so far as to give both my husband and I a video tour of how things were progressing when a question came up.
Cabinets are not critical to life or happiness, but Ken and Wildwood came into our lives when we really needed them and we are grateful beyond words.
We will look at our cabinetry for the next twenty+ years (hopefully) and smile and think of Ken.

Wildwood Cabinetry manufactured the cabinets for our kitchen remodel in 2016. Ken worked with us as well as our designer to solve problems and create a wonderful, workable design. The installation people were top notch. We have had no problems in the 2 years since our kitchen remodel was complete.
We would use Wildwood Cabinetry again without hesitation.

I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with my Wildwood cabinets!!!! I am the type of person that always gets multiple quotes for anything I have done. My wife and I had spent weeks meeting with another cabinet maker and just felt like we were going in circles and not really liking our options. To be honest I didn’t check with Wildwood
at first because I knew that they built incredible cabinets and was worried about the cost. I was happily surprised to find out that they were in our price range. When we met with Ken everything started to come together and Ken is so organized. He is great to work with and I highly recommend using Wildwood.

Extremely unethical, Ken was awful to deal with. Don’t use them.
They completed a custom kitchen for us. Started out very good at first. Then an error occurred on plans that was Wildwood’s mistake. We were suddenly hit with a $1500 charge for additional work because of this. After working with Wildwood and our decorator they agreed to drop this down to $500.
When they were installing one of their employees who fixed their mistake mentioned it took him only an hour to correct error that they wanted to charge me $1500 for but got $500 for.
When work was completed they also were off on the shadow reveal along entire ceiling by 1.5”. Ken’s reason was we must have moved the floors. We had not of course. I had to hire a trim carpenter at our expense to fix their mistake. Stay away. Much better options in town.

Comment from Wildwood Cabinetry:
I was completely caught off guard and amazed at the odd perception of our working relationship FIVE years later. I have an email with the client saying “Thanks again for all you have done with the project.”
I am the owner of Wildwood Cabinetry and customer service begins with me. I also ensure we are relentless in our customer service and how we respect every one of our clients, builders, architects, designers and cabinetmakers.
Rather than using the word “customer” I insist our cabinetmakers use the word “client”. Client means “one under the care of another.”
I asked our cabinetmakers if they had any recollection of any issues with this client and the project. While they remember installing the kitchen in the 100 year old high rise on Gay Street, not one person could recall an unpleasant issue.
I have an excellent memory of the events, but to ensure accuracy, I reviewed our records from the June 2013 project.
I remember multiple meetings with highly specific criteria and making accommodations for each one.
I remember meeting the contractor and not having the flooring or ceilings in place when I field measured. I asked about waiting until the room was completed to measure more accurately, but I was assured it would be to the signed approved drawings at 95” floor to ceiling.
Upon arrival with the finished cabinetry, I remember finding the 100 year old structure had quite a few quirks and the ceiling and flooring were not at the agreed approved in writing heights.
I immediately met with the client at the condominium and together we worked with the situation. I made more mouldings to go at the ceiling, completely remade a few parts including a tall end panel and invested two more installation days to work through the issues. All of this was without charge to our client.
To the one change order, an issue with the condominium wall and a hole in the 100 year old flooring caused the peninsula to not be made to the agreed locations. I met another time at 7:00 pm with the client and interior designer to accommodate their schedules.
In order to adjust and make the cabinetry work with the change in the peninsula, I gave two options.
One was completely remaking cabinetry on the back of the peninsula and wainscot ballpark estimated the cost over $1000.
The second option given to the client was remaking end panels for cabinetry and one small end panel. The cost was kept to $500 to ONLY offset the material costs and finishing. All parties felt this second option was the most practical. The new material was engineered, manufactured, sanded, finished, delivered, old panels removed and new panels installed. Everyone was pleased at the time and we were paid in full.
I remember one last item very well and hope it explains why we insist on the referring to homeowners as clients. After few weeks after we were completely done with project and paid in full, an accident occurred with an appliance installer. The side panel which had already been remade to accommodate the ceiling/flooring issues was scratched severely during another subcontractor's refrigerator installation. The client called me and told me what had happened. I perceived we had a great relationship and I immediately ordered our team to repair the damage at NO COST to the client or back-charge to the appliance installer.
Our clients are under our care. Our sincere hope is that our cabinetry will grace your home, be enjoyed and function flawlessly for many years to come.

I have had the honor to work with Ken Allender and his staff on several projects and have had nothing but positive results. From the design to the build it was a great experience. Wildwood Cabinetry is now our full time cabinet makers. That being said, they make a cabinet that is far superior to their competition, or should I say they don't have much competition as I have yet to find someone that can build a cabinet like they do. From using American made plywood to Blum drawer runners to the way they finish their cabinet is just the best in the market. Enough said, use them and you will not be disappointed... Ross Timoshchuk

We had the honor of working with Ken and his staff at Wildwood Cabinetry and were beyond impressed and pleased. Ken's knowledge and ideas were superb! Beyond a doubt our new home would not have turned out so beautiful without his cabinetry. Wildwood Cabinetry designed our entire luxury kitchen, mudroom, master bathroom and master walk-in closet. Wildwood cabinetry is made from top of the line products that we had the opportunity to see first hand. Ken gave us a tour of his facility that only reinforced how impressed we were by the quality and craftsmanship of his product. The staff at Wildwood is easy to communicate with, stayed within the budget we agreed upon, and delivered and installed the product in the time frame they promised. We intend to use Wildwood Cabinetry in the very near future for on-going projects at our home!

Ken Allender masterfully helped us with a major home renovation involving our main kitchen area, master bath, and basement kitchen and laundry. Once we had toured the Wildwood factory, we knew we couldn't go anywhere else for cabinetry because the workmanship and finishes are exquisite. The real gem, however, is Ken himself. He has an eye for design and space that changed my mind about some preconceived notions I had. The result is a beautiful, functional living space that we absolutely love!

Wildwood Cabinetry is a truly professional company that has the expertise to turn your vision into reality. Their craftsmanship is superb and they have a team that is a pleasure to work with. Ken and Paige will work with you from conception, to completion and beyond and it will be a seamless process. I had a specific color that I wanted for my cabinets and we worked together to achieve exactly what I had in mind. Any question or issue was resolved without any problems. In short, I am totally elated with my new kitchen and the fact that I chose Wildwood.

We enjoyed the opportunity to work with Ken and his detailed oriented staff to give us a stunning kitchen design we know we'll enjoy using for decades to come. We took the time to visit the plant and were impressed with the cutting edge technology used to manufacture our cabinets, the finishes for our cabinetry, and explore the space saving options in the showroom.
Working within our budget, I now have the kitchen of my dreams that is functional and a joy to work in.

Ken build and installed the cabinets and moulding for my master bathroom remodel. My work leads me to be a very detail oriented person, thus i expect outcomes to not be good or very good, but perfect. He met this expectation. The degree of accuracy and precision with which his cabinets are built and installed is outstanding. the cabinet finish is beautiful. He was very easy to work with and always had an intimate knowledge of my project as we worked through the design stage. He was very easy to get in touch with and answer my question. The project ran smoothly from initiation to completion. Once installation began the process efficiently proceeded until completion. I would highly recommend him for cabinetry work.
as an aside, I have just finished a kitchen remodel where i also got a quote from ken, but made the mistake to go with another well know local cabinet maker. While my finished project is great, it was a VERY painful process to get here. Communication was poor and timelines to begin and complete work in progress changed on a daily basis and dragged on forever. I had a 8 for 9 drawer front with drawer box screws driven through them that needed to be prefabricated, refrigerator panel fabricated to the wrong size that needed to be remade, cabinet to hold microwave made to the wrong size, drill holes and cracks in cabinet spacers......i could go on and on...
do yourself a favor and let ken be your cabinet maker.... you will be very happy with the results.
