Our experience with Woodsman and their team, specifically Terri Dubose, was seamless from the beginning of the design process to the final install of our kitchen cabinetry. The quality and finished product went above and beyond our expectations. Woodsman was able to bring our ideas to life and they were a true pleasure to work with. I look forward to using them again in the future.

First, I was very aware of the recent reviews, which did not reflect well on the business. So we went in to get a good idea of what was available before our home builders' appointment. Let me say Ann_MArie Kallio was awesome and should be sought out by all. She was extremely honest and kind and was very good. I recommend you seek her out above all the rest.

My builder used this company to install my countertops. I paid $2584.00 to upgrade from Granite to Quartz. When I moved in the countertops were a mess. This was on the builder. After being replaced they were scared and scuffed. It took 3 months for the third replacement of these countertops. They are still scratched and scuffed as if I had them for years. The seam where put together is uneven. A guy named Ryan came out and agreed they were unsatisfactory and said that he didn’t need to take pictures that it would be handled. I get an email today stating they would not be replacing or fixing my countertops. I understand I went through a builder for these countertops but it’s not the builders fault they can no be installed to the customer satisfaction. Countertops are a big investment and should look like new when installed. I paid a lot for my home and I should be treated as a valued customer no matter what. I’m very unsatisfied with the customer service I have received. Beware of this buyer and the brand MSI quartz.

Had some warranty work on our tile floor and shower, the tech Ariel did an excellent job, was efficient and very professional and the work looks like its new.

Woodsman helped us with the remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms in Oceanwalk. Our designer Terri was very helpful in helping us make the right choices and did all of the layouts. Everything turned out beautifully and we are very happy. All of the employees were courteous and helpful. Our kitchen had to be completely remodeled and the new layout is awesome. It looks like a new house!

We have worked with Terri Dubose at Woodsman on several projects. Everything from a couple of our primary homes to rentals and other investment properties. Terri is very creative and is able to listen to our design ideas, make suggestions, and help bring each project to life. We have just completed the renovation of our 1960's beach house and we are thrilled! Terri suggested a beaded inset door style in painted white with a huge black eat-in island and the cabinets are gorgeous. She also suggested a modern glass knob for the cabinet doors, a subway tile backsplash, and a stunning quartz countertop that emulates marble. Our home is now open and modern while in keeping with the era of the original 1960's architecture. We highly recommend Woodsman!

Dave Hartley was recommended to us by our contractor when we built our new home. Dave was wonderful to work with. He listened to my ideas, met with me several times, made suggestions, and designed our beautiful kitchen, bath rooms, laundry room and mud room. Dave was always polite and attentive and just a delight to work with. I highly recommend Dave for any design work you need for your new construction or remodel.

Working with Woodsman was nothing short of a breeze! I am a self-proclaimed perfectionist and I spent a lot of time researching and vetting different businesses who could help me with my kitchen project. I bought my home in June of this year and the kitchen was the very first thing on my to-do list! Nancy at Woodsman was extremely communicative, kind, and patient. If it were not for Jayne Barth at Woodsman Kitchen and Bath we would never have gotten our bathroom project off the ground. We had talked to numerous other designers over the past two years but no one could move us past the concept phase. A friend told us that Jayne was a miracle worker and, sure enough, we walked into the showroom one day and walked out with the first draft of a bathroom design and samples of proposed tile and cabinetry. We came back a couple of times second-guessing our decisions, but Jayne was flexible and bubbling over with new ideas for us. In two weeks we were ready to launch the construction. We had our kitchen and laundry room remodeled by Woodsman Kitchen and Floors and our floors replaced in the entire house. Our designer Jayne Barth was fantastic. She spent time with us to understand our vision and came up with several creative solutions. She is passionate about her work and welcomed any changes or ideas we had. My husband and I just recently completed a kitchen re-model with Woodsman, led by Dianne Collier. What an enjoyable experience! I just want to start with that because we heard so many horror stories from friends and neighbors who have gone through a project similar to ours. We met with several designers from various companies and knew immediately after our first meeting with Dianne that she was the one we wanted to lead us through this journey. What impressed us most was how she really listened to what we wanted in our kitchen…even challenging us on some ideas, suggesting changes we had not considered….BUT LOVED! She didn’t try to sell us anything outside of our financial means, but gave us options to maximize our budget and stay within our budget. She once told us that she would not influence us to purchase something that she wouldn’t suggest to her own family and she honestly stayed true to that. Another huge contributor to our enjoyable experience is credited to our General Contractor, Kevin Alesch with “Alesch and Sons”, the GC used by Woodsman. Kevin was truly professional from start to finish. Kevin was onsite for all major events and had the best sub-contractors exceeding in their respective areas expertise. This may sound irrelevant, but I appreciated how every single worker left our home clean from random cups, nails, dust, etc. To me, that showed respect for my family, my home, and us especially since we were living there through the renovation. We felt each decision and installation was well thought out and professionally implemented. What’s even more impressive? The remodel was completed on schedule and within budget!!!! We walked away from this experience with a beautiful kitchen that we love and people we consider friends. We will absolutely be returning to Dianne at Woodsman with Kevin at Alesch and Son’s for our future renovation needs!

We recently had a carpet installed in our Master bedroom. Linda in the office and Carlos in the field were delightful to work with. The job was was ahead of schedule, was on budget, and looked beautiful. And Carols went above and beyond making sure all furniture was moved with no damage.

My issue with this company is customer service and lack of attention to detail. I had a simple project, replacing tile backsplash in kitchen. I selected my tile from their showroom and when I placed the order was told it was about 5 days to get my tile in. I gave the correct tile order and paid for the right amount, but they did not enter the right amount of tile in my order. Also, the tile took 3 weeks to arrive, not the stated 5 days. I had to do ALL the work to problem solve my order... I was asked to text the service person every hour on the hour to REMIND her to check with the distributor to see if my order was in...this went on for multiple days...babysitting the vendor is not my job. No apology from the sales person who screwed up my order. I had a half finished kitchen and not enough tile... when my second order came in they "forgot" to call me. Of course, I had to call them to inquire and was told it was in...I wonder if they would have ever done anything if I hadn't self-managed the whole thing. Extremely frustrating, lack of sense of urgency, incompetent staff. They have a nice showroom.. go look at tile there and order somewhere else.. they are also the most expensive. Lesson learned.

I worked with there designer Jayne Barth and she was so helpful and made my kitchen look amazing on paper. Then Kevin and Doc made the whole design come together perfectly. I couldn't be happier. One of the best things about Woodsman was that they always answered my calls immediately. That's very important to me. I hate answer phones and pushing numbers to get who I need. Also they were very clean. I am very satisfied and would recommend them to others.

We recently updated our 2003 kitchen, returning to Woodsman who had designed and installed it 13 years ago. Designer Jayne Barth, re-used many of our cabinets and reworked our floor plan to accommodate upgraded appliances, Quartz counter tops, glass/marble back splash, and hardwood flooring. Her keen insight helped our problem areas disappear! The construction team was fantastic, working with us to keep disruption in the house to a minimum, and making sure we were happy with every phase of the project. I would highly recommend Jayne and Woodsman to anyone who wants a beautiful new kitchen and a highly qualified construction staff who never forgets that they are working in your "home".

We were recommended to Woodsman by our contractor while doing a renovation in Ponte Vedra Beach Fl. We were very pleased to work with Jayne Barth. She was very professional, helpful and really "knew her stuff". She spent a lot of time with us and quickly keyed in to our style and showed us a variety of options. The finished project is beyond our expectations.

We have had Woodsman redesign our kitchen and bathrooms. Design staff very competent and helpful, operations staff and skilled workers were wonderful. This was a major project as we had all of our floor coverings in the house replaced as well. They we not the cheapest but the quality, care, and service was worth the premium!

To work with reliable, courteous, conscientious, professional people that know what they're doing and take care of their customer would be the ideal setup, yes? Well this is what you get when you work with Jayne Barth, Designer & her Field Manager Doc Miller at Woodsman Kitchen & Floors. We had a major renovation to do in our kitchen and master bathroom due to water damage and so happy to have these guys transform everything into a showcase. Not just a kitchen place, they can do it all. And the people that they contract out to are cut in the same mold. We kept their contact info and use them to this day (plumber, electrician, household projects, etc.) The master bathroom was beautifully restored and the kitchen with top of the line SS Appliances, is a designers showpiece worthy of any spread in a magazine. Major work that took over 70 days to complete (only because we had to wait on new appliances ordered, construction was relatively quick) but well worth the wait and money. Doc Miller kept us informed every step of the way and always let us know when any of the contracted workers were coming in. And Jayne was there every step of the way to see how things were progressing and making design adjustments as needed. For a very stressful and uncomfortable situation we were in being out of sorts and not having use of our kitchen for almost a month they helped us get through a tough patch and the end product is wonderful to behold. I hired Woodsman Kitchens and Floors at the recommendation of a general contractor I know. My experience started slowly at first and then I met the designer of my kitchen, Tina Mandelka-Scott. She could sell ice to an Eskimo! I've been involved in high-end construction for 25+ years and she is one of the best at sales and service that I have ever met. Her enthusiasm is contagious and her talent is exceptional. She didn't merely fill our kitchen with boxes that fit, she designed a kitchen that fits our lifestyle and a kitchen we absolutely love being in. Our budget was hit by unexpected items before we even got to the kitchen, but once the design process started Tina took us a direction we wanted and she was still sensitive to our needs. She is all about deadlines and never failed us. Not only did she design the kitchen cabinets/counter tops, she also helped with back splash selection and, my favorite, a custom cabinet/marble counter top vanity for our MBTH and tile for our shower. Her attitude got us through some tough spots during the overall renovation (we lived in the house during construction - ugh) and we have a great 1939 beach house that feels like home. The group she works with was also very courteous and responsive. All in all we could not be more pleased.

I hired Woodsman's of Jacksonville, FL to renovate my kitchen and install about 2000 sqft of flooring. The kitchen renovation went okay but the flooring was terrible. Down right nightmarish. Based on the opinion of one of the interior designers, I chose Hallmark Sierra Madre vinyl plank flooring. The designer insisted the flooring was durable in such a way that it handled everyday stresses of hospitals and gurney traffic. The project started okay but as soon as the flooring was installed, there was an issue. The plank colors were off because they were not all from the same factory run. That delayed installation about 10 days but I was sympathetic because I work in construction EVERY DAY. But about 60 days after install, my five year old was sliding around her plastic toy cars and plastic furniture (you know - the toddler-sized table and chairs with smooth plastic legs) and sure enough, there were scratches. Not little scratches and scuff marks that disappear with a little cleaner and elbow grease; these were noticeable white scratches - identified by rubbing a fingernail over it and the nail "getting stuck" in the scratch. I am/was horrified. I trusted Woodsman's and they sold me an inferior product. After looking up the vinyl flooring company online, I discovered that scratches are normal for vinyl flooring and there is an "ABC Recoat" system available, but it is not available to the public....yet. That tells me Woodsman sold me an a newer (not vetted) product. I am so upset and highly recommend that homeowners steer clear of high-priced vinyl flooring like Hallmark and stay clear of Woodsman for flooring.

After consulting with a contractor and one of the "big box" stores on a kitchen remodel, I found myself feeling that I wasn't getting the knowledge and experience I needed to complete the task. I dropped by Woodsman one day and met Dianne Collier. After two appointments she not only designed my dream kitchen she was of great assistance in helping me pick out every detail. She was confident, experienced and stayed within my budget. The task was completed in 3 weeks and we couldn't be happier. I plan on hiring her to help me design both of my bathrooms. She was a pleasure to work with and made the entire ordeal seamless!

My wife and I recently purchased a condominium in Deerwood and wanted to re-model a couple of bathrooms as well as add a new entertainment cabinet in the living room. We chose Woodsman based on the reputation they have in the Northeast Florida area and because we knew their construction manager, Doc Miller. Boy, did they ever deliver. From our first meeting with Diane Collier and Doc, everything we were told would happen, happened exactly as scheduled (Doc provided a written timeline regarding what would take place and when, including the estimated cost and finish date at the start of the project). From Diane's professional assistance in selecting cabinets, fixtures, tile etc. to the professional job each and every crew did, the finished product exceeded expectations. At each stage of construction, each crew left our home cleaner than they found it. Because I knew what I was buying and from whom, I didn't even shop price, but bought quality (we stayed within the estimate Woodsman gave us) and it was the best decision that my wife and I could have made. If you want quality, both in product, and, more importantly in people, I would suggest Woodsman Kitchens and Floors for your new home or if you are re-modeling.

Worked with Linda English as the Woodsman designer and consultant on our complete kitchen remodel. Linda and the rest of Woodsman's workers were professional, courteous, on time, and experienced. A few minor issues that arose were handled quickly and effectively. Wish it didn't cost so much, but after seeing the work involved, and the completed product, we think the cost is justifiable. Five months later, we are still so pleased as we enter our new kitchen every day. Thanks, Linda, for your leadership on this project. We will definitely recommend Woodsman to friends and acquaintances who may be looking for kitchen or bath remodels.

Order placed 12/16/2015 for new ( in stock) Cambria counter tops ( sink & disposal replaced as well) and 3 drawer cup board put in where dishwasher was.) The employees were very courteous, and we were pleased with the finished project. But Communication was lousy. Twice, including first working visit, we were not notified, they were coming. Suddenly they appeared at 0830 (and they wanted to cut off the water), later another 0830 visit without any warning. Total project time was 72 days!!! Felt we were a low priority. If I had known, it was going to take so long. Would have shopped elsewhere.

This company is about high turnout and low quality labor. I asked my builder not to use then. The builder hired them anyway and they did all the tile in my new home. They do not use spacers. They do not back butter or use a troll when placing bath wall tile. They use big gobs of mortar, so that when they have to redo jobs the tiles pop off easier. They had to redo tile in all 4 bathrooms and some in the main floor. Then they redo, they use a grinder and jack hammer on the floor tile. A nightmare. Now after I have been in the house for just months, i have cracked floor tiles. They want to bring back the grinder and jackhammer without properly taping off the area. They claim it won't be that much dust. I am now searching for a tile company that will replace the broken tile properly without covering the whole house with dust and without further cracking.

I hired woodsmen to do the remolding of a kitchen and bathroom! I went to the showroom an found it to have an abundance of ideas an material to chose from ! The designer I worked with was knowledge an very nice . I whould hire them again an recommend them!

Our goal was to update our kitchen while keeping costs as reasonable as could be since our plan was to sell our home in about two years. We have an open floor plan so the kitchen is more or less the central point in the house. Linda English at Woodsman Kitchens and Floors worked diligently designing and redesigning the plans as our vision evolved. If it hadn't been for her work, ideas and suggestions we probably would have abandoned our remodel thinking it would be too large and expensive of a project. She made it all happen and the process was seamless - no delays and all stages of the process moved like clockwork.

From the initial meeting, to measuring the detailed electrical outlet placement behind cabinetry, hidden plug cords for lighting on shelving, Terri thought of everything and kept within our budget! She went above and beyond our expectations of what we could have only imagined and made this entertainment bookshelf unit a reality. The staff and installers were neat, tidy and professional. There were literally hundreds of parts, mouldings and finishing pieces all of which came together with perfection. Terri exceeded our expectations - and Woodsman quality is top notch. We have worked with Terri and Woodsman Kitchens on 4 projects. Each time Terri brought wonderful ideas to the table that we wouldn't of thought of by ourselves. She made each kitchen project different and beautiful. Terri always kept our budget in mind, and we really like that!! We ordered new kitchen cabinets and counter tops with Woodsman in April 2014. They had the best selection of cabinet colors and manufacturers to choose from. Our specialist Terri Dubose is a real expert! She helped design the best layout as well as picking the features that fit our needs. We spend many hours with Terri working on her computer CAD system to see the design come to life in 3D which gave us great comfort of what the final product would look like. After many suggestions from her and incorporating our vision we finalized the plans. The installation was amazing. They came when they said, were very clean and organized and left us with such a great experience that we just ordered our great room bar cabinets and top with them. Great company to deal with and the prices were as good if not better than many others we shopped before selecting Woodsman.

The Cabinet install was absolutely horrible the installer had a terrible attitude installed the cabinets crooked and then argued with me about it. On one side of the kitchen the wall cabinet door hit the beam that separated the kitchen from the dining room the opposite side cabinet didn't, the cabinet also interfered with the kitchen switch plate cover (the installer said not his problem) The sales representative never did a floor layout plan (I asked for this several times so electricians and plumbers could do their jobs before the cabinets were installed) therefore the granite countertop protruded into the door molding and the area where the stove was to be installed the cabinet blocked the gas outlet I had to bring the plumber back out to move the outlet, additionally the outlet for the microwave was in the wrong place, again the installer said not his problem. There were numerous other problems with this company and their cabinets too many to list here. Woodsman stopped taking my calls and never came back to finish the install. I will never do business with this company again.

Jayne Barth and I have worked on many projects over the years including my own home. She is absolutely the best at what she does. She has great vision and truly listens to what I want for my client and helps me to achieve that goal. I wouldn't work with anyone else in Jacksonville.

We have had the privilege of working with Jayne Barth from Woodsman Kitchens and Floors for the past two large home projects. She completely redesigned our master bath and our kitchen. Jayne is unbelievably talented and between our ideas and her vision she has turned our home into a showcase. I have used Woodsman twice for kitchen remodels and once for a bath. I would not use anyone else. Jayne Barth designed a wonder kitchen and the subcontractors and contractor Woodsman employs are outstanding. The worked with in our budget with no additional add on cost. I would use them again and did. Very few people still love their contractor when the project is over but we do!

I worked with Jeff Reed awhile back to design and remodel my entire kitchen and large laundry room. I can to him with CAD designs that I had started myself as my husband and I had some very specific ideas of how we wanted our kitchen to work for us. He was excellent to work with, had great ideas to add to our plan, and turned my base plan into a professionally-designed kitchen. I really enjoyed working with Jeff and would highly recommend him for cabinet design project big or small.

We have used Woodsman for several projects and they always do an excellent job. We asked for floating cabinets for this project which is always a little tricky, but they did a great job and the cabinets look great!
