Lamar was wonderful to work with. The tops were delivered on time, in perfect condition and my clients were overwhelmed by how beautiful the diy black walnut looked before even being installed. The wood is gorgeous and the craftsmanship is outstanding. Looking forward to my next order.

Dealership who provides Craft-Art tops
We love working with Craft-Art surfaces. The wood tone and grain pattern selections allow for flexibility with every style of project. They bring a richness to a project and are a great accent with stone products.

I have purchased tops for a sideboard in my kitchen, a large console table/cabinet in my den, and multiple cutting boards for personal use and gifts. The quality of all are exceptional. Removing the bland butcher block from my Ballard Design kitchen sideboard and replacing it with a gorgeous, rich walnut top transformed the piece from merely attractive to stunning. I get myriad compliments on both the kitchen sideboard and the console table/cabinet thanks to the Craft-Art wood tops. And they both look as good as when they were installed! Our counter top that we picked, cherry to match our new cabinets, turned out way better than we expected. we chose to have it laminated in vertical to show more of the different colors and grain plus break up the right angles of cabinets. There is a section that shows some knots and a burrell, really awesome. Deliver was on time and the installers were professional and friendly. they knew what they were doing, and took no time at all. I was surprised. We love it!! Can't wait for back splash to get put. Will compliment the whole area of the part of kitchen.

We were looking for a butcher block type counter-top for our kitchen upgrade. We researched several different suppliers, but when discussing the issue with our contractor he recommended Craft Art. We liked the look of their website, and really appreciated the "sneak-peek" into their workroom. We felt confident they would produce a quality surface.
We were completely unprepared for how beautiful the black walnut turned out. We were doing a relatively simple cosmetic upgrade on our kitchen, and the quality of the black walnut counter-top took it to a different level. My husband has been so enamored with "his" new kitchen that he's dedicated himself to keeping the dishes done, and everything spotless. That's priceless!

We purchased an American walnut counter top to replace an existing piece of granite for our outer island in a recent remodel.
It is used primarily as a bar top and workplace I use as a remote home office.
It is without the focal point in our kitchen now. It pleasing to the eyes, comfortable on the elbows and forearms. My only regret is we didn't replace all the granite counter tops with your walnut.
I have attached a few images for your viewing pleasure.

As a kitchen and bath designer, I love using Craft-Art countertops on my projects because they make my projects look beautiful! I have used the distressed black walnut wood top on several islands, and have been so pleased with the quality of the Craft-Art product and workmanship. And, not only are they beautiful, but they are functional as well. I look forward to incorporating these tops into many more of my kitchen designs!

Lamar was our point person on a recent project. He is courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. He helped us out with a project and coordinated everything. We appreciated his help and expertise.
The shop guys were also great to meet and talk with. The facility was well-kept and boasted an impressive machinery list. All around, Craft Art is a wonderful resource and we will use them in the future. We highly recommend them.

I ordered serious DIY, unfinished walnut countertops from Craft Art since when I priced materials alone to make my own, it matched the AFTER shipping costs from Craft Art. I wasn't confident about what would arrive, so I even ordered an extra 1/4" in thickness in case they needed major planing/sanding.
Sadly, our countertops were seriously gouged when the shippers ran into our crate with heavy machinery. Seeing the crate in the truck when we were unloading filled us with dread. We were BLOWN AWAY by the quality of the countertops however. We couldn't tell which side was meant to be up they were so well-made. This meant that we could avoid the gouges caused by the shippers by using both sides of the countertop. Craft-Art took up our claim with the shipper so we didn't have to and eventually refunded us our shipping costs. All phone calls thru the process were quite pleasant and the folks were competent and customer service oriented. Rare these days!
As for our countertops: sanding them was a breeze since they were so lovely upon arrival, Waterlox products worked very well, and the Board Refresh renewed our 30 year old, handmade cherry cabinets and they now look new again. I'm impressed with the whole experience. When things go wrong is when you find out how a company really behaves. These folks rule. And our countertops are more lovely, for much less work and cost than expected. Total win.

I am a blogger/DIYer who used their product
We used Craft Art's homeowner DIY countertops in our most recent kitchen remodel--specifically the black walnut edge-style countertops. They come in a lot of sizes and lengths, but we still needed to cut each one down to size upon receiving them--this is part of the reason they are called "homeowner DIY countertops," you might need to cut and there will definitely be sanding and sealing involved. But it is an amazing and affordable way (about half the cost of a finished piece!) to have an extremely high-quality product (solid, real heavy, beautifully grained wood) in your home for a little bit of labor. Worth it.
