Lawrence Kantor, Inc., plumbing and heating supplies, has served northern and central New Jersey for more than 50 years. Our company is run by the third-generation of a family in the business. In 1912, when Kantor Brothers was founded in Newark, NJ by Sam Kantor and his brothers, shipments arrived by rail and supplies, such as cast-iron soil pipe, were delivered on chain-drive flatbed trucks. In 1954, Lawrence Kantor (Sr.) left his father’s company to found Lawrence Kantor, Inc., at 169 Scotland Road, Orange, New Jersey, adjacent to Interstate 280. We’re located in a 3-1/2% enterprise zone, so you only pay half the usual sales tax, which can be a substantial savings. Although Kantor Supply’s original mission was to serve the plumbing and heating trades, our core business has expanded to include sales to other wholesalers as well as retail sales through our elegant showroom.
