We were lucky to receive Kathy as our designer on our kitchen project. She is extremely knowledgable and capable with her design background. She also has a good relationship with the contractor involved. So there was excellent communication between all parties. I would highly recommend this team of designers and contractors for your next project. Everyone's attention to details enabled the completion of a great kitchen.

Lowes did a wonderful job remodeling my kitchen and bathroom. It was a pleasure to work with Kathy from start to finish. Tim and his workers were awesome to work with and I highly recommend Lowes for any home improvements.

From start to finish, working with Kathy was a pleasure. She has an excellent familiarity with cabinet, countertop, lighting and appliance choices, and was able to provide renderings of various choices we were considering, which was invaluable in helping us make final decisions. Additionally, she helped us take full advantage of all possible promotions that Lowe's offered at the time. Both Kathy, and the contractor, Tim, kept us updated with emails or phone calls at every step of the process; they are conscientious, and meticulous with their work, and it shows.

The whole experience from choosing the materials to the installation was a great experience.. The entire team was super helpful, honest, skilled, and efficient. The installers took extra care to keep the mess to a minimum and contained to the bathroom. I highly recommend them!

We are so happy with our new kitchen, it is beautiful! Kathy was wonderful with us and we all designed a space that works for our lifestyle (lots of cooking and enjoying time together in the kitchen). Tim & Anthony's work was excellent and the two brothers work well together and they have hired some really efficient people to help them achieve good results. The one wrinkle in the project was the relationship between Tim and Gary, the plumber. From our perspective, their relationship seems dysfunctional, which caused wasted time and money.

The contractors dept is fantastic! Kevin is very knowledgeable, Matt is very helpful also. Laird helped design the 2 kitchens with my husband & is very good at his job! Great experience.

Kathy and Danielle were thoughtful and considerate in helping us plan our new bathroom last spring and proposed several ideas for a kitchen renovation we are contemplating. They know the materials that work in our house and allow for our personal taste and preferences to prevail. They were patient, calm and good-humored. I have recommended the kitchen/bathroom gurus to several friends who have also remarked on their expertise and pleasant personalities. AND we love our new bathroom!!

I simply cannot speak highly enough about the service, products, installation and advice I received during my recent kitchen renovations. Danielle at Lowe's Torrington is beyond amazing! She is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and personable - she even stepped in and coordinated installations from other departments to make everything as seamless and effortless for me, and my family. The installers from East Coast Flooring were stellar; they too are professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and personable! They made the entire experience almost effortless!!! Bravo Danielle! This project was a complete demolition and renovation of our kitchen in an 1830's house. The project included designing the kitchen, purchasing cabinets, closing off doors, moving windows, moving the sink/dw to a new location, adding lighting and electrical, new flooring and all new high end appliances. Lowe's staff hired the general contractor and he in turn hired all of the subcontractors. The kitchen designers were extremely helpful and were great listeners and as a result they were able to meet all of our needs/wants . The entire staff including their contractors provided appropriate guidance and support throughout the planning and renovation process. The staff and work crews were able to proactively work through issues and were willing to accommodate all of our requests in a timely manner and worked to ensure that we were well satisfied with the final outcome. We selected Lowe's because of a previous project and would highly recommend them for any other further projects.

We had our first floor completely redone. Kitchen, bathroom, flooring. On the whole, the Lowes team was very courteous and any problems (of which there were a couple) were taken care of without debate. The largest complaint was that the project ultimately took far longer than we were expecting that it would. All in all, though, I would use the team and their contractors again.

When my son and daughter in law heard that my husband and I were planning to renovate our kitchen, they suggested that we check out Lowe’s. My husband and I were beginning to look at cabinets and the idea of one stop shopping appealed to us. Think of it, we could purchase appliances, cabinets, flooring and hardware in the same place. We could even have Lowe’s install the whole kitchen so we would be less frazzled about driving back and forth from work to make sure that the everything was being installed and on schedule. Our house was 45 minutes away from the Torrington Lowe’s and we wondered if that would slow down any deliveries but we were reassured that they could accommodate us. The first step was talking with Kathy Lubitski on the telephone. Kathy made herself totally available to us by telling us about the process and next steps. We started to talk with her prior to the birth of her baby and didn’t miss a beat finalizing plans when she returned from maternity leave. Then we sat down with Danielle Stevenson, the kitchen designer, who listened to our thoughts about why we needed to renovate, inquired about our budget and helped us come up with a plan that would work for us. She generated a computer image of cabinets, appliances, counter top and utilities within the cabinet. She and Kathy looked over the measurements to insure that nothing was forgotten or lost. They walked us through the store to help us pick out flooring, cabinets, lighting and hardware. While they didn’t help us with the big appliances, the sales people (Ken Cooley) were thoughtful and willing to look up information when we asked a difficult question. There was always someone available to help with our questions. Lowe’s accommodated us by having deliveries on weekends since we were working during the weekdays. Even the delivery staff was courteous and respectful. It seemed like there was always an evaluation process. After a delivery, we were asked to rate our satisfaction with the professionals delivering and setting up the kitchen appliances. When we complained about how the countertop was cut, there were multiple calls to have a workman come out to evaluate the problem. Our kitchen is now complete. It is beautiful and we are pleased with the whole process. Unlike other horror stories, this one was painless since the employees working with us were so knowledgeable about their product and willing to help us out. They even shared a few cost cutting tips that we really appreciated. Norma and Nathan Litman
